A 33 year old man named Thana Benjasak has made an inspiring impact on social media with his unique savings method. Thana, a breeder of Siamese fighting fish residing in Klong Chuk Chae, Chachoengsao, has managed to amass nearly 300,000 baht (US$8,727) in just six months by saving 50-baht notes.

Thana’s saving journey began when he saw a TikTok video about people saving 50-baht notes. Intrigued, he decided to give it a try. Every time he sold a fish, he would exchange the money for 50-baht notes and drop them into a jar. This simple yet effective method allowed him to save almost 300,000 baht within half a year, reported Sanook.

“I saw this savings method on TikTok and thought I’d try it,” Thana shared. “Every time I sold a Siamese fighting fish, I would exchange the money for 50-baht notes and put them in a jar. After six to seven months of doing this, I counted the money and it took over four hours to complete, but the result was staggering – 294,300 baht.”

THE MEDICAL COUNCIL was today (Dec.25) petitioned to investigate allegations that certain doctors had violated a professional code of ethics to keep de facto Pheu Thai boss-cum-convict Thaksin Shinawatra from jail.

Former Democrat MP Watchara Petthong filed the petition against doctors of Bangkok Remand Prison and Police Hospital with Itthaporn Khanacharoen, secretary-general of the Medical Council, alleging that those doctors had broken their professional ethics to keep Thaksin from being literally put behind bars at the prison by transferring him over to the hospital where he has been staying beyond a 120-day period earlier provided by law.

The de facto Pheu Thai boss-cum-convict at large had allegedly feigned “illnesses” in the alleged connivance with the unidentified doctors at the prison and hospital, according to the former lawmaker.

Watchara called on the Medical Council to look into the suspected acts of those doctors who, he said, may have been tempted by the de facto Pheu Thai boss-cum-convict at large into providing him such unethical help.

Wife goes to police station and the cop says daughter is at fault.

Wife asks, was my daughter wrong in driving in the left lane?  Yes, says the cop.

I see many russian families in my project these days,

they seem to be here for months on end

    kinda got me thinking.

what are the vast majority of them doing here?

how are they supporting themselves and their families without working?

how long are they going to stay here?

they make lots of noise, especially late at night,

their kids are the worst, shouting and screaming till all hours.

    they leave trash everywhere,

i've witnessed their kids spitting on the floor numerous times.

    will they ever go home?

why dont they just go back to russia, put on their army uniforms and face the music.

they started the war after all,

best go back home now and fight it imo.

That goes without saying , thais don't need a visa .

After being scammed by some dubious thai visa agent , government should show some empathy and grant them a small extension , just long enough to legalize their stay .

They planned to throw peoples passport away ...?

    Jail them .

Wrong, they try to scam the thai Immigration Rules! Everyone knows that these so-called visa agents are illegal! Applying for a visa yourself is not rocket science, it is suspicious of cheating the Thai visa regulations!

"Moreover, the use of LED technology aligns with the municipality’s commitment to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability."

    Agreed.

But it appears powered by an electric grid powered by fossil fuel. LED is easily powered by solar energy and more supportive towards a clean environment.

Street lighting needs electricity at night, or are you from a country where the sun shines at night!?

The only law of Thailand you need be concerned about is it's always the foreigners fault. If you had of stayed in your own damn country this would never have happened. I'm not pulling your leg here, that is the mindset, Thai cops and authorities have actually stated this often.

Like an idiot, I mentally got the dates wrong. I checked my passport on Sunday 10th and realized I should have done my 90 day report on Dec 3rd. I applied online anyway on Sunday 10th thinking (maybe wrongly) that you had 7 days grace either side of the actual date, meaning 10th - seven days after the 3rd - would be ok.

I just got an email saying it is rejected and I should go to nearest immigration.

Any idea what is in store for me tomorrow - am I looking at a fine or something?

Am I wrong about the 7 days grace thing?

    2000THB fine, thats all!
