"Moreover, the use of LED technology aligns with the municipality’s commitment to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability."

    Agreed.

But it appears powered by an electric grid powered by fossil fuel. LED is easily powered by solar energy and more supportive towards a clean environment.

Street lighting needs electricity at night, or are you from a country where the sun shines at night!?

The only law of Thailand you need be concerned about is it's always the foreigners fault. If you had of stayed in your own damn country this would never have happened. I'm not pulling your leg here, that is the mindset, Thai cops and authorities have actually stated this often.

Like an idiot, I mentally got the dates wrong. I checked my passport on Sunday 10th and realized I should have done my 90 day report on Dec 3rd. I applied online anyway on Sunday 10th thinking (maybe wrongly) that you had 7 days grace either side of the actual date, meaning 10th - seven days after the 3rd - would be ok.

I just got an email saying it is rejected and I should go to nearest immigration.

Any idea what is in store for me tomorrow - am I looking at a fine or something?

Am I wrong about the 7 days grace thing?

    2000THB fine, thats all!

I've noticed last few weeks (as things have gotten busier), that the time keeping from some of these 'masseuses' is get a tad cheeky.

Finished a massage the other day, and i thought to myself "that was quick", but as i didn't note the time down i shrugged and walked off (honestly felt like i had only a 40 minute massage).

Today though, i went for a 60 minute massage and i felt ripped off. The lady in question only gave me a 48 minute massage as i fully checked my watch. She did take her time in bringing the bucket to clean my feet - IS THIS included in the massage timing?

My point being is the timing of the massage beginning when she touches your skin, or when you walk into the premises?

Sorry for being pedenatic, but worth keeping an eye out for lol

Note: A one Hour Massage includes shower, washing the Feets, take the Clothes off/on (incl Shoes😉)

They'd miss the cheap labor Myanmar people a lot more than they'd ever miss us.

We are but mere hood ornaments on the engine of the Thai economy.

Tourist police on Thursday night in the Nana area of Bangkok interacting with happy and smiling foreign tourists, including many women, who felt safe and secure in the famous, although somewhat notorious nightlife district, which is considered very safe and well policed. (Inset top left) Chinese social media influencer Zi Yu Wang from her video posted on Tuesday the 5th of December, which presented a distorted view of Nana.

Chinese social media influencer, Zi Yu Wang, who entered Thailand on an exclusive Thai Privilege visa, faced possible deportation after being summoned over a Tik Tok video that distorted the facts about Bangkok’s vibrant Soi Nana nightlife area. In the end, Immigration Bureau officers charged and fined her for breaching a Royal decree on labour by carrying on a business in Thailand without a licence or work permit. It came after authorities cracked down on her alleged defamation, stirring debate on the balance between personal freedom of expression and protecting the country’s image.

A Chinese social media influencer who came to Thailand to do a hatchet job on the kingdom’s foreign tourism industry, particularly Bangkok’s Nana nightlife district, has found herself summoned, charged, fined and warned off by Immigration Bureau police who informed her she could be facing potential deportation for breaching the kingdom’s strict labour laws.

In the last 48 hours, smiling tourist police have been seen mingling with happy tourists, many of them grinning and cheerful Western women in the city’s somewhat notorious Nana nightlife area rebuffing distorted claims made by 28-year-old Ms Zi Yu Wang, a successful Tik Tok influencer, who entered Thailand on an exclusive and very expensive Thai Privilege long term visa.

In what is being seen as a draconian move, Thai authorities moved this week to summon, charge and possibly blacklist the Chinese social media influencer on Tik Tok, Ms Zi Yu Wang, who arrived in the country on November 2nd last using the exclusive ‘Thai Privilege’ long term visa and was in the country legally.
