  1. Yeah, but you do not know anything about that person's medical history, their psychological history. Labeling them as an addict does more harm than good. Yes, but is it addictive? Is caffeine addictive? Many people develop a tolerance for caffeine. This means that your body adjusts and gets used to having caffeine every day. Over time, you might find that you must keep increasing your caffeine intake to achieve the desired effects of alertness and ability to concentrate. Your body can have a dependence on caffeine, but it’s not technically an addiction. It raises dopamine, but the level is small. Illegal stimulants like methamphetamine (“meth”) and MDMA (“ecstasy” or “molly”) cause a huge surge that messes with the reward circuits in your brain. You get “addicted” to ecstasy, and “dependent” on caffeine. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/15496-caffeine-how-to-hack-it-and-how-to-quit-it Bingo. Exactly my point. So we need to understand what constitutes reasonable use, and what are the line(s) between (reasonable) use and abuse. Hence my questions...
  2. You would be wrong. Surely there must be studies which delineate cannabis use on a scale from reasonable use through to addiction, and use disorders which result in schizophrenia and paranoia. Nearly every study here, nay every anti-cannabis post, harps on the few who have problems. Understanding what constitutes safe, reasonable use would help us all. I don't even think anyone has defined "cannabis addiction" here, yet? It's this kind of off-the-cuff diagnosis - I assume you are not qualified to judge if someone is addicted, especially if you're never met them - that does more harm than good. How does an addicted person "sound"? And it's an insult which is probably against the forum rules?
  3. For me, same-same GV, UM, SKYPE, even LINE. Maybe once in a hundred calls I get some unmanageable delay. Just hang up and call again. UM=UltraMobile GV=Google Voice
  4. Five baht per pill. BP reported as little as two baht per pill, retail price for single dosage, not some wholesale. massive volume unit price. I think crystal meth is more expensive. Meth Use Rising in Thailand as Prices Fall, Study Finds A tablet of powdered meth, commonly known as yaba, which means “crazy medicine” in Thai, now goes for as little as 86 cents or even 58 cents in the north of Thailand near the border with Myanmar, Nantapol said. That is as little as one-fourth of what it cost a few years ago. He said prices for more potent and addictive crystal meth have plunged over the same period too, from $52 to $58 before to anywhere from $14 to $29 now, depending on the purity. https://www.voanews.com/a/meth-use-rising-in-thailand-as-prices-fall-study-finds/6975741.html
  5. Given the resulting acronym I though this was a joke. Is it? Are there any terms for reasonable cannabis use? Any studies? Any signs we should look for?
  6. Ex-sponge. That sounds like Don Jr. The effort to expunge his impeachment is without historical precedent. Georgetown University Law Professor Jonathan Turley, whose expert advice Republicans sometimes seek, noted that the U.S. Constitution contains no provision for expunging impeachments. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-house-republicans-seek-expunge-trump-impeachments-2023-06-23/
  7. I would encourage House republicans to bring articles of impeachment ASAP. They claim to have evidence of bribery/extortion committed by then VP Biden. Now if they don't really have evidence then maybe they should stop making false allegations.
  8. FM Don's primary rationale seems the be the "length of the border". AFAIK, this length has remained constant over the years so I am unclear on why that's justifacation now? IMO, if he had a good reason he would have used it by now. Suspect this is some tidying up before the transition to the next government.
  9. Up for me. Both web and Sec38 app. Web loaded a bit slowly but able to log in, see past filings. Could be a VPN issue? Are you in Thailand? When was the last time you logged in? Any changes since then?
  10. Why 15 weeks? DeSantis signed a six week ban in Florida. I don't think 15 weeks will fly with conservatives. Lindsey Graham got pilloried when he suggested a nation-wide 15 week ban. Republican religious fundamentalists say life begins at conception and abortion is murder, ergo any abortion is murder, so they should just demand a complete, Zero-week ban on abortion, in any/all (rape, incest, age, health of mother, etc) cases. And what, pray tell, happened to the SCOTUS Dobbs decision saying that this is a States-rights issue?
  11. Good parking job with the Porsche, lined up perfectly. Wait, what. That's the living room. Never mind.
  12. So is this what happened after the last election? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Thai_general_election
  13. Conservative outlets are saying that both Hunter Biden and Joe Biden each received $ 5 million (for a total of ten million). The same outlets are alleging that Classified documents hoarded by Joe Biden at UDel describe these transactions. IMO the House should immediately start an Impeachment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0Pw9EJcq10 It sounds like this is nothing new, the same old 1023('s). simply re-packaged. It feels like if they had anything real they'd push forward with an impeachment. If they don't then that speaks volumes.
  14. These 2:1 THC:CBN Wyld brand get good reviews. And very reasonably priced, in the U.S. $25 all in for 10 pieces. "Directions" say that a serving size is one-half of a gummy. Some cool flavors too. That packaging also mentions "Indica", although I have no idea if that means anything in gummies, and some outlets say... Wyld's Elderberry THC:CBN gummies have been designed specifically with sleep in mind. The sedating effects of CBN in combination with THC alongside terpenes found in Indica strains may provide greater sedation than THC alone. This combination may be particularly useful when preparing for sleep. It's a little like watching sheep count you. I haven't seen these (Wyld) here, but I don't really pay attention to the gummies. About 25% of the ~ 50-ish shops/distributors I follow sell edibles, and about half (of those) have gummies, all imported from the U.S.
  15. Can you post a picture of the packaging for these gummies? Front and back? How much did you pay for each package? There are a lot of imported gummies here, I assumed they were legit. But maybe some are and some aren't? The Trolli "brand" are sold here, and get good reviews from some sellers.
  16. I too have an oBi 200, a gift from one of the founders. And it has my two GV lines terminated, it can support up to four lines. But I haven't used in a few years. I just use GV on my mobiles. I currently hit 100% on GV usage for OTP SMS; works everywhere for me and I use it two or three times daily. I also use GV a couple of time each week for longer calls (60+ minutes) to friends and family who are on their mobiles.
  17. I think these are illegally imported from the United States or Canada. And they would be considered illegal here. Unless they are some kind of deep fakes, then who knows what you might be getting. That's 600 mg of 98.99% pure THC, so I would be very, very careful with the dosage. Maybe weigh one unit, calculate the total mg of THC and then slice off pieces at low mg dosage. There are reviews on-line.
  18. Can somebody, anybody, tell me what the "allegations" are? All I get from this attention-seeking media whore Shapley is that he alleges that "someone" (dark forces) held back the IRS investigation into Hunter Biden's late filing and payment of taxes. Who does he think orchestrated this conspiracy? The IRS must have a whistle-blowing procedure. Does it involve doing an interview with CBS?
  19. "Irregularities"? IMOP, this clown (Shapely) should not be discussing this case in the public domain. Note that he cannot confirm that this is about Hunter Biden. What's the endgame here? Does he owe more taxes? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pajt8EgGF9w
  20. I rely on my Chase Sapphire Preferred card, but have never made a claim, nor had any issues. How the Chase Sapphire Preferred Rental Car Insurance Works With a few exceptions, the card's auto collision damage waiver perk will provide coverage for all damage or theft. https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/travel/chase-sapphire-preferred-rental-car-insurance-guide
  21. I assume either/both Jordan's committee and/or Comer's will call this "whistleblower" in for televised testimony. One would think they could put together a case, and forward it to the DoJ for prosecution? Note that we were told, what ten days ago, that there were recordings of Big-Guy Biden shaking down a Burisma Executive. And that seemed to be a false-hood.
  22. Is your filing still showing as "Pending"?
  23. Yes, that works. That's how I fund both of my UltraMobile accounts. Just use a credit card to fund your wallet. The limit per transaction/adding value is $20 (I think $21.10 for me with sales tax). I too leave Autorenew "OFF". That results in an SMS (from 6700) saying that autorenew didn't work so they took that month's payment from my wallet. Yes. I ported by T-Mo number to UM, at activation. It was easy because UM was basically managing my T-Mo account, and now T-Mo is buying UM. (UM is/was a T-Mo MVNO.) But you can port in any provider's number. I've had issues getting WiFi calling to work. The only handset I could get working reliably with UM/WiFi calling is a Samsung A51, purchased here.
