  1. Freely available is a result of translation, "free" in the sense that it is free from previous legal restrictions, and it means fully legal for recreational/personal use. Cannabis Flower that is. But, yes you may see a sign in the dispensary that says "Free Weed Tomorrow".
  2. Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh on line 2 for you. But yeah, I agree with your premise. Thailand and the U.S.A. have a pretty lengthy diplomatic history dating to what, early 1800's. And it's been mostly beneficial to both countries, with a few speed bumps.
  3. Some people are simps for a dictator.
  4. MFP will NEVER, EVER be in power, securely or otherwise. They have 151 seats from 750. In 2001 PTP had 248 from 500.
  5. Yes, I saw this article when it first popped, back in May in the post-orgasmic period after the surprising election results. https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/politics/40027743 https://aseannow.com/topic/1295213-move-forward-party-to-submit-45-bills-for-amendments-and-new-laws/ It struck me as a "plan", or a "platform", or a "wish-list". Pretty much what MFP ran on. So forty-five proposed bills was not too fast, or too much too soon, but discussing National Day was a bridge too far?
  6. Nothing I say will sway you from your belief that nefarious parties are spending extra time and money concocting enhanced cannabis in order to "hook" unsuspecting buyers. It's beyond idiotic if only because it makes no business sense whatsoever. I don't know your B n law or your friends, but it sounds like they never got doctored weed either. And to somehow think doctored cannabis is being peddled in rural Thailand is even more silly. I think it's best you just continue to believe this conspiracy. It definitely makes you look "in the know".
  7. Hearing him in own voice is much more compelling than reading a transcript. You can be sure the government will want to play the audio recording during a trial, assuming it is admitted as evidence. And all the people present, save trump, have been deposed. Of course we heard his own voice on the Access Hollywood tape and that didn't really seem to swing things much. Today's "bravado" is yesterday's "locker-room talk".
  8. We pay them, and they're grifters. They know what generates clicks and cannabis articles, for some reason, generate clicks. I think because the issue is somewhat divisive, and can be made to seem scary, and that alone gins up a lot of eyeballs.
  9. Don't be worried, that's an urban myth. Assuming these two people (14 YO, 36 YO) actually smoked cannabis it was not treated with anything. It was just ditch weed.
  10. But this is just one idea, that Rangsiman (admittedly a definite thorn in the side of the dinosaurs) is proposing. It is not a promise. Just an idea being put forth for discussion. If the immediate knee-jerk reaction is to stop talking about it you know you've hit a nerve. I get the whole go slowly, so slowly that you lull opponents into going along with you, but does that really work? I mean other than when cooking frogs or lobsters?
  11. Yeah, I think maybe I was misunderstood when I said I could 'murder' that cheeseburger.
  12. Now he says he was holding "building plans", and exhibiting "bravado". Huh? Former President Donald Trump is now claiming that his boasts about holding highly classified national defense information while talking to patrons at his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey were just "bravado" — and all he really had in his hand were "building plans," according to Semafor. "'I would say it was bravado, if you want to know the truth, it was bravado,' Trump said in an interview aboard his plane with Semafor and ABC News. 'I was talking and just holding up papers and talking about them, but I had no documents. I didn’t have any documents,'" reported Shelby Talcott. https://www.rawstory.com/donald-trump-building-plans/
  13. I think there are 19 ministries so three are still available?
  14. The "American Interference" disinformation campaign is being propagated by the usual suspects, and is compounded by the fact that Pita, in addition to being young, vibrant, progressive, smart, hopeful, confident and anti-establishment, took advanced degrees at KSG/Harvard and Sloan/MIT. Hence he gets tarred with being a lackey of the Americans. Sore losers gonna whine, and try to undermine the new government any way they can. That's what this is about.
  15. In that BP graphic where is the Ministry of Public Health?
  16. Can you share some examples of this? And the success of slow-moving reforms? And how are these applicable to Thailand? Maybe Thais feel like there haven't been any real reforms for ages, if anything maybe things have moved backwards since 1997 or 2006. And they're anxious for more, bigger faster reforms? The groundswell for reforms of the Institution is shocking to me, I can't imagine how shocking they must be to traditionalists and ultra-nationalists. IMO, talking about, and entertaining the IDEA of reforms is perfectly acceptable and should be encouraged. And not discouraged as property developer Sreetha is offering as his "advice". If you aren't free to talk about something then are you really free?
  17. I was waiting for the part where Mom wouldn't give junior money for him to buy cannabis for his dogs.
  18. "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it." I'm hoping the next government replaces the 1932 Plaque which mysteriously walked away after all of the surveillance cameras stopped working. Most physical vestiges of 1932 have been disappeared, systematically, on purpose. Having a National Day is a good idea. Keeping December 5 as a holiday in remembrance of Rama 9 is also a good idea. But call it that, and not "National Day".
  19. Wow. Very few 11x cases result in an acquittal. Seems like the RTP should be reprimanded, both for bringing questionable and partisan charges, and not properly managing a Royal Procession.
  20. 74 % the country is on the wrong track. I'm looking for more detail on how this poll was framed, but having trouble finding it. What makes up "a wrong track"? It is possible to infer a polarized interpretation of this.
  21. If the Wiki Leaks diplomatic cables related to Thailand illustrated anything it was more about observation, analysis of intel and events which would inform positions and responses. I don't remember reading any cables about meddling in anything? I did not read all the cables. https://search.wikileaks.org/plusd/?qproject[]=ps&qproject[]=cc&qproject[]=fp&qproject[]=ee&qproject[]=cg&q=Thailand#result
  22. I think the date remains regardless of the horse-trading meetings leading up to it. July 4, 2023 I think. Be better if MFP could nail down the PM slot first. I think PTP is canoodling with the enemy in a concerted effort to nail down the Speaker, knowing that the Senate will not vote Pita through as PM. Then MFP might struggle to nominate another PM candidate while PTP will have one all (Senate-approved) ready to go. MFP will be hobbled - the point of all this for their monarchy-reform stance - but it will look like that happened through incompetence and naivete.
  23. OK, I'll bite... In what way(s)? Some pretty smart people swear by cannabis (sativa, maybe) use for creativity, getting work done, accomplishing tasks. In what way(s) is it harmful? Neither is alcohol....what? Not good for you? Affecting your memory? Both? Something else? Responsible alcohol consumption, in moderation, is IMO acceptable and worth the risk(s). Responsible cannabis consumption, in moderation, is IMO acceptable and relatively risk-free.
  24. I just have to ask that if, for every 250 anti-Biden articles posted here as topics could we get perhaps one positive article?
