And is it ok for undocumented minors to work dangerous jobs? What about ten year olds working the fryer at McDonalds. Can minors serve alcohol? We/I could work at 14 but we needed a special work permit (U.S./State). I was a barback at age 16 but we got dinged by the liquor authority. I've got no problem with Age 14 and up working as long as their parents approve, there is some governmental approval and oversight, can join a union, they get paid and are not exploited. Two 10-year-old kids found working at a Louisville McDonald’s until 2 a.m.—for no pay https://fortune.com/2023/05/04/10-year-old-kids-working-louisville-mcdonalds-child-labor/ Bill Would Allow 14-Year-Olds to Serve Alcohol in Wisconsin https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/wisconsin-bill-14-year-olds-serve-alcohol-bar/3131457/#:~:text=Updated on May 1%2C 2023 at 5%3A23 pm&text=Fourteen-year-olds in Wisconsin, alcohol to customers in Wisconsin. Nine-Year-Old Prayut Regime Coming To An End: Academic
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"People" do not vote for a PM. MPs and Senators vote for a PM. OK, MPs and Senators are people too. And most people do not get what they wish for. There are so many ways Prayut could remain PM, some legal, some quasi-legal. -
Samsung has a version of Apple TV (+) for their TV OS (Tizen), I use that. There is an Android TV version, I have that loaded onto my Chromecast. I do not believe there is an Android version (for phone or Android box) available, at least I couldn't find one. Maybe you could load the Android TV version onto an Android box? Not sure about the Android Laptop, maybe research that on your own to see if the Android TV version can be (side-) laoded? The Internet TV? Depends, can you share details, make, model?

https://tv.apple.com/th I think you have to subscribe to and pay for an MLS package over and above the 199 baht/month Apple TV (+) fee. IMO, Apple TV (+) is a bargain at 215 baht/month given the quality of the original series. https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2023/02/mls-season-pass-is-now-available-worldwide-on-the-apple-tv-app/

I'd decide on a provider then look for a promotion. There are many places to find promotions but Youtube may be the easiest. Just look for a recent "VPN review" video for the provider, and there will be promo links in the description.

Eight false Trump electors have accepted immunity deals, lawyer says
bamnutsak replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
I would hope that any "immunity deal" does not prevent any of these 'electors' who are lawyers from being disciplined and/or disbarred. -
More texts get dropped All the Texts Fox News Didn’t Want You to Read In more urgent texts to Bret Baier, Carlson wrote ““I continue to think the company isn’t taking the [sic] seriously enough. We need to do something to reassure our core audience. They’re our whole business model.” Carlson floated various ideas, including interviewing Fox News Decision Desk Director Arnon Mishkin on his show, to “help calm our viewers down.” https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2023/05/all-the-texts-fox-news-didnt-want-you-to-read.html

Have seen the semi-annual mucking out of the sewers this week done by prisoners, getting a taste of "the good life". The Drain Gang. -
IMO, this chap was not stealing actual Cannabis flower but rather some non-pyschoactive (THC less than 0.2%) Cannabis-infused product, of which there are hundreds. I support this opinion based on the video. He should obviously be prosecuted as he appears to have committed a crime. He is not however a raving marahuana junkie jonesing for his next fix. (I'm assuming he's not a meth head.)

The top secret documents/Mar-a-Lago case certainly took an interesting twist by bringing in the Saudis, and Trump's relationship with the LIV Golf League. The inferrence from the New York Times reporting is damning. No one had that on their Bingo card, I bet. Justice Dept. Italian Man Has a Meltdown on His Balcony in Pattaya, Blames Marijuana
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Yes, we all can agree that you can "say" anything. But it's just your opinion. And I can say that I have never, ever seen an increase in the incidence of violence where Cannabis has been consumed. But your contention is off-topic as the Italian man was smoking crystal meth. People, most of whom are not qualified, are bandying about terms like pyschosis, paranoia and schizophrenia like they know what they're talking about. If you don't want to consume cannabis don't. But this uncontrollable urge to influence others, by posting links to biased "studies" all with agendas, points to deeper pyschological problems that I am most certainly unqualified to diagnose. I'm not up in people's business telling them what they can eat, drink, smoke, do. Why are you? -

More Sordid Tales from the Thomas family. This week's guest star is Kellyanne Conway. Judicial activist directed fees to Clarence Thomas’s wife, urged ‘no mention of Ginni’ Conservative judicial activist Leonard Leo arranged for the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to be paid tens of thousands of dollars for consulting work just over a decade ago, specifying that her name be left off billing paperwork, according to documents reviewed by The Washington Post. In January 2012, Leo instructed the GOP pollster Kellyanne Conway to bill a nonprofit group he advises and use that money to pay Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, the documents show. The same year, the nonprofit, the Judicial Education Project, filed a brief to the Supreme Court in a landmark voting rights case. Leo, a key figure in a network of nonprofits that has worked to support the nominations of conservative judges, told Conway that he wanted her to “give” Ginni Thomas “another $25K,” the documents show. He emphasized that the paperwork should have “No mention of Ginni, of course.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2023/05/04/leonard-leo-clarence-ginni-thomas-conway/?pwapi_token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWJpZCI6IjI4MjM3OTMiLCJyZWFzb24iOiJnaWZ0IiwibmJmIjoxNjgzMTcyODAwLCJpc3MiOiJzdWJzY3JpcHRpb25zIiwiZXhwIjoxNjg0NDY4Nzk5LCJpYXQiOjE2ODMxNzI4MDAsImp0aSI6IjNlODg3OTczLWMzMGItNDU1OC04NzBmLWYzZDJjZDYxZmI2MCIsInVybCI6Imh0dHBzOi8vd3d3Lndhc2hpbmd0b25wb3N0LmNvbS9pbnZlc3RpZ2F0aW9ucy8yMDIzLzA1LzA0L2xlb25hcmQtbGVvLWNsYXJlbmNlLWdpbm5pLXRob21hcy1jb253YXkvIn0.JedQkSLNMMMjTJxKX6sA4BxneEfjBZ9dTOFqmZcNmII

FWIW, DeSantis signed a six-week abortion ban into law three weeks ago and announced it late on a Friday evening. Most of these short term bans also include waiting periods, multiple visits to a doctor, and waitng for the rapist to be caught, tried and convicted. (that last bit is a mocking of the rules on these bans) I don't get how these pro-life republican right-wing nut jobs can claim they are pro-life if they allow for ANY abortions. That tells me that they are not really pro-life. If life begins at conception, and abortion is murder, then no abortions should ever be allowed, even in the case of rape, incest, health of the mother etc.

Italian Man Has a Meltdown on His Balcony in Pattaya, Blames Marijuana
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Ice, Ice Baby. The guy's a tweaker, he went for the top-shelf meth. (It was probably the preferred choice of his Thai "GF".) Of course he blamed cannabis. It's legal. It's not like he's going to admit he was smoking meth. He'll be playing for the Italian side in the Khlong Prem League. And all the saps who fell for this "story". Ha. Credibility rating reset to zero. -
Well I for one can't wait to hear the Supreme Court's decision on Biden's Student Debt Relief package. (due end of June) Justice Thomas will probably write that the government should not be involved in student debt relief, and that tuition should be left to "contributions" from Republican mega donors.
