Controversy over Lisa’s tattoos shows misogynistic, outdated mindset
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Looks very small, left side mid-torso. Edelweiss Flower. Hardly worthy of outrage. https://www.harpersbazaar.com.sg/exclusives/blackpinks-lisa-is-our-march-2023-cover-star/ -
Recommandation to order CBD strain seeds ?

There is no way Cannabis normalization is a top 5 or even top 10 issue. I can understand why some would want it to be, as it deflects from the many, many other more important issues. This is about peeling away BJT from any coalition after the "election". Their constituent MPs may not be required for the PPP/UNP "government" in waiting. The chances that Cannabis remains normalized after an election, and formation of a cabinet, have dropped significantly since 9 June 2022. Approaching zero. Yes, some sort of medical cannabis market may survive, but that will be very low potentcy, and TIGHTLY controlled. I don't think foreginers will be able to access it. Many of the foreign-focused "media", who seem to be anti-cannabis, will be lamenting this as well, no more click-baity articles.

Michael Knowles Says Transgenderism Must Be ‘Eradicated’ at CPAC
bamnutsak replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Sounds like one of the "Hitler did some good things" advocates. He definitely won the race to the bottom on the transphobia scale. The Ultra-MAGA Right Wing Republicans are so far out over their skis on trans issues it's mind-boggling. Is there anyone left to go after? Or will they circle back on black, brown, yellow, red, Immigrant peoples? Children killed or injured at Drag-Show Story Hour: 0 Children killed or injured by guns: 6,023 Year: 2022 https://abcnews.go.com/US/6000-children-killed-hurt-gunfire-2022-report/story?id=95833392 But it's all about "protecting the children". I'm begining to think drag-show performers should carry firearms and claim that their rights cannot be infringed upon. -
OK, even at 20% (1/5) you're still looking at a ~ 31.5 mg dose which can be quite heavy. For a Sativa-dominant strain that might not be the best nightcap? If it's Indica dominant then should be fine. (assumptions: 22.5% THC, 70% yield on extraction) That flower (a bit hard to tell given the yellow camera effect or background, and no size camparison) looks good, certainly not the best I've ever seen but for anything less than 300/gram (on an eighth) is a far, far better option than 2% THC ditch weed at 5 baht/gram. So at 160, assuming it's been cured, it is perhaps the "best" price/performance I've seen as posted here anyway.

That cannabis looks very good IMO. But consuming one gram is a lot. Most full-sized pre-rolls are 1 gram. If I smoke (a quarter cone, ~ 0.20 - 0.25 grams by weight) or dry vape the same I'm pretty lit. I couldn't handle 1 gram in one session. Maybe save some of your butter for another day? Or does it somehow lose potentcy or otherwsie degrade if you store it? Edibles are AWESOME, especially for those who cannot, or choose not to, smoke. The problem is dosage, and waiting time. For most mass-marketed edibles the dosage is quantified on the label, so you can rely on that going forward. When you make your own, from cannabis of unknown origin with a unknown extraction %, it's hard to hone in a reliable dosage other than experimenting on yourself. Figure one gram might yield ~ 200 mg of THC, and that's a MACRO-dose for edibles.

Who knows? Certainly not 4K. And it is a bit of a shared service. Everyone in the building is sharing the fiber link, which may or may not be robust enough for every application. It should be good enough for all but the most demanding applications. I'd recommend talking to neighbors, find out what they use, and what they like or don't like.
-
Yeah, some buildings have fiber to the curb (basement) and then they use exisitng copper in the riser to deliver lower-speed broadband via VDSL. So this serrvice (from AIS) can literally be turned on in one day. You just need the VDSL modem. https://www.ais.th/fibre/nocontract/en/

There have been many reviews of these bundled alternative streaming services here. Some have gotten good reviews. Search for IPTV. Google: IPTV site:aseannow.com https://aseannow.com/topic/1275089-iptv/

I'm confused. What do you want to do? Subscribe and pay the monthly fee for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, HBO Go, Disney Hotstar...? If this, then most new TVs can run all of these apps. as Android TV apps or proprietary OS (Tizen for example) Or you can use an attached device: Android box, Firestick, Chromecast. I run everything ( Netflix, Amazon Prime, NFL GamePass International, HBO Go, Disney Hotstar) off my Chromecast, exccept for Apple TV+ - there is no Android TV version of their app, fortunately my TV (Samsung) has the Apple TV+ app "natively". Or do you want some Android box with a service offering "thousands of channels" for a fee?

Apartment WiFi (Siri and Google Chromecast)
bamnutsak replied to Finlaco's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Do you have a notebook? Windows 10? If so you can make that into a hotspot by connecting it to your new room's wifi, then you can conenct other WiFi devices to your notebook's hotspot. You'll have to sort out the 2.4 GHz/5 GHz "issues". Turn your Windows 10 PC into a mobile hotspot by sharing your Internet connection with other devices over Wi-Fi. You can share a Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or cellular data connection. If your PC has a cellular data connection and you share it, it will use data from your data plan. Select Start , then select Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot. For Share my Internet connection from, choose the Internet connection you want to share. If desired, select Edit > enter a new network name and password > Save. Turn on Share my Internet connection with other devices. To connect on the other device, go to the Wi-Fi settings on that device, find your network name, select it, enter the password, and then connect. I think you can connect up to eight devices. Not sure about performance though. What is the make/model of your WiFi router? It can likely be confgiured into WiFi Extender mode. If so, it can conenct to your current and future new rooms, via wifi and share that network to other devices. -
Draft Prostitution Law To Set Voluntary Service At Minimum 20 Years
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
https://www.ilo.org/dyn/natlex/docs/WEBTEXT/46403/65063/E96THA01.htm Lax (non?) enforcement is said to fall on one single phrase, "...in a promiscuous manner...". "Promiscuous" being open to interpretation by the "authorities". Section five is also used for non-enforcement... "...in an open and shameless manner or causes nuisance to the public...". So as long as you're not "shameless" or causing a nuisance you're good to go. -

I tried some Ya Dong recently, it was "traditional" but poured at a bar. I found it to be interesting, definitely medicinal, hence the "ya". Clear, medium brown, smooth (amazingly), "herbal" finish. I didn't recognize any of the herbs. I don't think it's inherently unhealthy. I only had two shots, no noticeable hangover. I can't imagine the hangover is any worse or better than lao khao? I think every "blender" has their own recipe re: lao khao + "herbs and spices". (Albizia myriophylla Benth.) https://aseannow.com/topic/31336-herbal-whiskey-yaa-dong-herbs/

You can turn data off within the network: AIS customers can turn on and off mobile data via SIM card by dialing *129*1# (turn off) and *129*2# (turn on). You can also turn data off within the phone's OS/menu. You can, and have, enabled international roaming Enable IR: *125# SEND The AIS app, MyAIS, probably allows all this stuff and more?

The PPP members resigning will go to the UTN/Prayut. The Dem members will go to either PPP or UTN. Assuming they get "elected". Thai-style democracy in action, or more colloquially, the "Pre-election".

13 days? Did he have to go to a fortune teller to choose the most auspicious deadline? It looks like Chuwit is trying to peel off 10-ish BJT seats, thereby leaving them out of second (or third now) spot in the next government. It feels personal, but I'm not familiar with the Chuwit/Chidchob "dynamics"? PPP and UTN should face no challenges finding enough small parties to form a coalition. Many have resigned from Parliament and jumped parties, I think the Dems lost at least two members yesterday.

Do they have a lot of strip clubs on public property in Tennessee? A lot of these laws seem to strain Constitutionality on a number of fronts. And leave the definition of "prurient" as, well, undefined. I guess Police and public prosecutors will be left to judge what is acceptable. So much limited legislative time spent on these laws? Surely there are bigger problems to address?
