Trairong Suwankiri: Team Prayut’s secret weapon for the next election
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Judging by the photo, it looks like Trairong is using the latest technological developments to plot a winning course for Prayut. Is that a "fountain pen"? Wow. Quite the piles on his desk, can't say that's a good look. -
BKK to USA, Business Class, 200lbs Extra Baggage?
bamnutsak replied to kokesaat's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
What is your final destination? What is the routing? This is a round-trip ticket, issued in Thailand, and ticketed by NH (ANA)? You've flown this routing before, with ANA? I have a few concerns, but the last leg may be on a smaller regional jet (Endeavor?) which may have baggage restrictions. And/or you might get hit with a surcharge from them. Obviously you should check with the ticekt-issuing airline for baggage questions. -
I just assumed there no "Page 26". Oof. There was. Massive burn from Murdoch. The Cheeto Chump is done.

Only Some, Not All, World Cup Matches To Watch Live On Free TV: Prawit

All but the last fifteen matches. There have been montrous cock-ups here and while this one, assuming some matches are shown, is not top three material it certainly deserves an Honorobale Mention. -
Prayut Says He Is Still Fine After Hun Sen Catches Covid

Amazing he's ruled Cambodia for 37 years. I assume a Hun II will replace him when he passes away? -
฿81.2Bn set aside to guarantee prices of 2022-2023 rice crops
bamnutsak replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The previous administration got in a lot of trouble for trying to support rice prices. The current regime has likely spent far, far, far more in agricultural subsidies during their eight-year reign. Always interesting to note the differences. Just part of the "Twenty Year Plan" I guess? Keep Somchai down on the farm. -
And then, probably, she (Tracy Hawkins) was immediately fired. Unless she agreed to be his Twitter Brood Mare. https://www.timesnownews.com/business-economy/companies/elon-musk-claims-free-staff-lunches-at-twitter-cost-400-each-gets-fact-checked-by-former-employee-article-95516450 Honestly, he wants people to work 120 hours a week, of course you're going to offer free food, snacks, rest areas, etc., and anything to keep them happy. How dumb did you think he was? The AseanNow crowd roasted him on the Thai Cave Rescue submarine fiasco, and his "Pedo Guy" comment. Now many of the same seem to revere this schmuck.

Asssuming the van has a license then they can still sell flower. Whether they can get the "appropriate" license might be an issue? Not sure what new criteria might be required. On premises smoking, without some sort of additional rules/licenses seems like a no-no. Seen many shops previously offering this service eliminating it. On-line sales prohibition will severely impact small Thai growers, waiting to see how this is enforced. Some say that as long as they do not advertise a product with a price it is OK. But this one needs to be clarified, and if the Police are instructed to enforce this, and what the first arrest looks like. Most of these controls were in the Cannabis Bill. Online sales was allowed, but with biometric age verfification. There has been quite a bit of public information and debate on this new edict, with quite a few lengthy discussions, and a few Live Facebook gatherings. The Police are busy with APEC, and people are still digesting this, so I wouldn't expect a sea-change this week.

What hosting the APEC Summit means to Thailand

"You can't quit me." Honestly what are the options? No one else is acceptable - must be RTA, from the proper faction - to the ruling class, and has the brand recognition. They need another coup, with the requisite slaughter of citizens, then the General who ordered that can be the next PM. Must be "battle-proven". Current RTA headman, Gen. Chalermpol Srisawat, said last month in an interview, "The armed forces follow orders from the government that was formed through political means but we do not get involved in politics.", presumably with a straight-face.

Did you sell your phone? If so can you describe the successful process which you used?

So they let these gangs infiltrate the Kingdom and establish a powerful foothold? And now they're "doing something"? I suspect now it's more about negotiating the proper commsission and establishing the guidelines about what is allowed. I'm kind of surprised the traditional Thai Mafia has allowed these foreign gangs to flourish?

Can you post a photo of the CBD Oil you're taking? Or maybe a link? I'm guessing you're in the U.K. now but want to line up a similar offering to cover you while you visit Thailand? It may be legal to travel with your CBD oil, as long as the THC % is below some level (3%?). It's on you to research that possibility. Having a copy of the Doctor's prescription may also be required. There are very few truly 'legal' tinctures, and 'legal' has many meanings in Thailand. Any legal ticnture would have to come from the MoPH/DTAM, and /or be approved by the Thai FDA. There has been more movement on medical Cannabis from straight-up medical doctors and hospitals to DTAM, The Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (under the MoPH). Although I'm not sure how much DTAM wants to treat foreigners? Maybe Google DTAM and CBD Oil. DTAM operates clinics from within the naitonal/MoPH structure. At the next level, descending, are semi-/quasi- "clinics" and "wellness centers", offering Cannabis treatment. At the bottom of the barrel are people pedaling "oil" on-line. This question gets asked a lot here. I've yet to see anything legal, legitimate, safe, approved and reliable mentioned that is "real". But I don't really follow this topic much. People often make vague comments about CBD oil, usually with secretive references, or third-party "experiences", but those are of course worthless. Understanding EXACTLY what it is you're using now would go a long way towards finding something comparable.

I'm 95% confident that a deal will be struck. It sounds like it might land between 1.1B and 1.5B baht. The loss of face would be epic were this deal not to get done. The problem with letting this go late, in 2018 they had a deal 2 ~ 3 months before the first match - is that sponsors will get a lot less bang for their buck. They could have been tieing in marketing efforts, launching new products, building brand awareness for months leading up to the event. Now? No one will pay much attention to those companies which might end up throwing a few hundred mil into the beggars cup. I think the regime has just grown even more fat and lazy - the Thai-way, and there was no senior level champion.

More than 57,000 passengers arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport yesterday
bamnutsak replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
That is not accurate as it counts code-shares, so for some flight, it might be listed as four separate flights, all with separate and disticnt code-share flight numbers. And you've got cargo flights counted. To get an accurate figure you really need review each flight. I counted 247 international flight arrivals on 11 Nov. I excluded cargo flights. This varies slightly day to day, because not all flights are dailies, some are 3x/4x weekly. -
Can you describe what is is you take, or have taken, maybe with a photo or link? Without any information this is like monkeys throwing darts. My take on this subject, and it comes up very often here, is that if there were a good tincture out there one of us would know about it. AFAIK, we don't.
