  1. OK, so you do not consume cannabis. So why are you asking... If you do not consume cannabis? There have been quite a few "dangers of cannabis" threads here. How has my response in any way stifled your enquiry? I encourage to raise any/all questions you may have. Me thinks you are a bit defensive.
  2. Forgiving student loans? Ye gads, the Moral Hazard. The lessons it teaches. Bail out banks? Of course.
  3. Looks awesome. Are these photos of the product you received? What are these strains? Which did you purchase? Can you share the source? Thanks.
  4. Do you consume cannabis? Or are you proselytizing? Assume this would be covered in any pre-op consult? I'd be more worried about confirming the proper location for the operation.
  5. Two weeks is better, and this is to flush nutrients, inhibit new green growth/chlorophyl which can result in harshness in the finished product. Nothing to do with pesticides, which indoor growers are not using, nor does their growing medium or water supply contain run-off pesticides. I think if cannabis has mold it will smell like amonia, or fresh-cut grass.
  6. With any supplemental lighting? These look really good.
  7. I just can't see local Thai/Laos growers spending money on chemical fertilizers. I mean they are growing indegenous strains which are suited for the environment, including pest resistance. Some terpenes act as a natural pest resistance. OK, so if it didn't have mold before it surely will after washing. You can do your own research. Done about what? Mold? Nothing. Health issues smoking moldy weed? Avoid those by not smoking moldy weed. Do you also smoke your fruits and vegetables? If you want to wash your weeds go for it. At least it won't have any residual dirt.
  8. The hurdles for proving defamation, especially in when it involves "the press", versus the First Amendment are nearly insurmountable. How many successful defamation cases in the U.S. involving the press have been in favor of the plaintiff? I'm just saying that it's hardly a slam-dunk, forgetting about years and years of appeals, where at each stage there will be pressure from the judge to settle. Of course the conservative majority on SCOTUS would like reverse New York Times v. Sullivan, which is interesting, in an ironic sort of way.
  9. Yes, I think they are. At least until Parliament is dissolved. Zero transparency on the judiciary here. And if you ask questions go directly to jail.
  10. You never know with juries. Where's Billy McBride when you need him? I would think that the terms of any settlement would be the main challenge - admission of guilt/NDA/destruction of discovery records, etc. - than the dollar amount?
  11. "Keep 'em guessing". That's a feature not a bug. The Texas Attorney General has warned CVS and Walgreens on the Illegalities of Sending Abortion Pills Through the Mail https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/news/releases/paxton-warns-cvs-and-walgreens-illegalities-sending-abortion-pills-through-mail No clue why they are pushing so hard on this given how poorly it polls. After fifty some years I guess they just can't quit it.
  12. What types of cannabis are you buying? What type of pesticides do you imagine growers are using? Are you concerned about pesticide uptake from the soil, water supply? How are you consuming your cannabis? The use of pesticides adds to the production costs, and I doubt the bulk outdoor growers are spending money on chemical pesticides. I do not think you can wash off pesticides? Maybe buy from reputable growers/sources? Indoor growers, assuming they're not too lazy, usually do not have issues with pests. I would be much, much, much more concerned about mold.
  13. What a swamp... from Wiki... As an active legislator, Upakit has legal immunity under Thai law until February 28, 2023, when the current legislative session ends. Following the arrests, Kritsanat Thanasupanat, the lead investigator from the Metropolitan Police Bureau, was mysteriously transferred to a remote post in Chaiyaphum province https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upakit_Pachariyangkun Prachatai and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) also found in October 2022 that Upakit was wanted for arrest in connection with an alleged drug trafficking and money laundering ring operating out of a casino in the Golden Triangle, but the warrant was quickly retracted. A Thai news programme, meanwhile, reported that it never existed, while another outlet took down a story about the warrant without explanation. Rangsiman noted in his speech that Upakit also owns a plot of land in Bangkok’s Soi Ari 5 and that the land is now the site of the headquarters for the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, a recently established political party that Gen Prayut recently joined. https://prachataienglish.com/node/10242 The Force is strong with this one.
  14. This one will be challenging to clean up. Not sure there's a pastry box (acceptable delivery method for the judiciary, brown envelopes are for commoners) big enough for this one? https://aseannow.com/topic/1289078-police-chief-orders-probe-into-police-officers-who-sought-an-arrest-warrant-for-a-sitting-senator/
  15. Still inetersting that Big Joke pushed this case over to the NACC, instead of to prosecutors. This will die at the NACC. And many (most?) of these "men" worked in Immigration when Big Joke led that "organization". But we'll be told by the fan bois that Big Joke turned Immigration into a pristine landscape free of corruption. Yet just a few years later it turned into a quagmire of corruption. Obviously he did not instill much integrity or honesty. A cover-up in plain sight. The "government" is very brazen, but they know that no one will challenge them.
  16. Privatize profits. Socialize costs.
  17. I don't think there's enough rice porridge in Thailand to entice Hapkarn to get involved in this one. The Senator is Upakit Pachariyangkun. The military dictatorship ruling Myanmar needs the cash from drugs. And the powers that be in Thailand make 30% on transhipments, and more on precursors. One of the three Thais arrested was Upakit’s son-in-law, Dean Young Gultula. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/upakit-pachariyangkun-thai-senator-under-scrutiny-for-myanmar-connections/ I think Mr. Gultula is a U.S. citizen.
  18. Actually bankruptcy often yields benefits to a losing defendent. Fox will settle before going to trial, surprised they haven't yet.
  19. How much is she asking for? Which package is she on now? Some providers here actually offer free unlimited LDR (128 Kbps). Or they did. There are fixed bandwidth/unlimited volume plans, and unlimited bandwidth/fixed volume plans, generally speaking. You can find a 30 Mbps/unlimited volume SIM for One Year, for 1,690 (DTAC, on promotion as low as 1,390). https://www.tree-mobile.com/product/ซิมเทพ30mbps Without a plan it used to be 1 baht per MB
  20. Do you have any other photos (thanks for that one above from Nov 30 post - looks super frosty) which show the overall structure of the plant, especially nearing harvest? About how long from seed to harvest? Outdoor or indoor? Thanks.
  21. S.2155 (Sec. 101) This bill amends the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) to allow a depository institution or credit union with assets below a specified threshold to forgo certain ability-to-pay requirements regarding residential mortgage loans. Specifically, those requirements are waived if a loan: (1) is originated by and retained by the institution, (2) complies with requirements regarding prepayment penalties and points and fees, and (3) does not have negative amortization or interest-only terms. Furthermore, for such requirements to be waived, the institution must consider and verify the debt, income, and financial resources of the consumer. https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/senate-bill/2155 The Crapo Bill, named after its sponsor, Sen. Mike Crapo R Idaho.
  22. There are some purple strains in the first few minutes of the video. The Thai woman mentions "Duck", which could be Frisian Duck, which is a purple strain? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7sw0PJVRdc That channel has some other good videos Some purples here at another farm in Petchabun, ~ 4:50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1lK9SKirwg
  23. I don't understand why folks feel the need to pinch pennies on seeds? Or plant just any seeds? I mean you've decided to spend four + months to grow your own medicine, yet you want to just grab any seeds? This is a COLLOSSAL fail. Determine the best strains and types (auto - photo) for your requirements. Then buy the best seeds from the most reliable source. They're feminized so no issues there. And for photos you could take cuttings going forward. Seeds are, in case it wasn't obvious, the most important factor/choice. Purple Thai is a widely recognized strain. Very popular here with growers.
