Cannabis vaping options (510 carts, disposables) require an extracted form of Cannabis, which is of course already illegal. These extracts are in the ~ 85-90 % THC content range. These are illegally imported here, from the U.S., but are a bit expensive for the average Thai. A 1 gram (gives ~ 150 - 300 'puffs') cart/disposable is ~ 2,600 baht, and they're relatively easy to suss out. The problem though is that there are fakes with potentially unhealthy contents. So both the hardware (carts, batteries, disposables) and the contents are illegal. Now it's down to enforcement, not always a strong suit here.

March/April? I think that with little variation in daylight the plant would mature over a similar time period (varies by strain obviously), much like an autoflower or a Thai landrace varietal. So you might be looking at ~ 17 weeks. You want as much of the life-cycle to occur and end well within dry season. Sativas might perform better, maybe try something with some Thai breeding or a local landrace. Choosing the right genetics is key. Even with a maturation in dry season, denser buds will be subject to rot. This is why local strain are so larfy (light, airy). Grow in organic soil, with organic nutrients, and use grow bags. Prepare an indoor drying room. Ventilation, Temp/humidity control. Pure outdoor here is so-so. In a green house with suplemental light is better, but then you may have to be careful with light deprivation? Pure indoor is really the only way to go here for quality flower. With temp control/AC, humidity control, max ventilation/fresh air. There's a lot of info out there, which you'll find with a quick search. Maybe also look for equatorial/intertropics grow diaries.

Interesting development... Clear your Bangkok's schedule and head on over to Royal Queen Seeds's first cannabis shop in Asia! RQS will open its first ever cannabis shop in Asia next Saturday 30th, 2022. Shop is located near Asoke BTS station, super easy access. Be there early as I am quite sure that there will be long lines and you wouldn't want to miss out on their imported cured flowers, seeds, and branded merchandise. Another classification sytstem...Economy, Premium, Supreme. So similar to the above withe the bottom-most category left off. Preice brackets seem reasonable/competitive. Nice to see the Indoor, Outdoor and Greenhouse labels. (They seem to have copied the Cookies brand logo/colors.)

Why will supplies increase exponentially? And do you even understand what "exponential" means? There is a cost of production, and nearly all quality cannabis will have to be grown indoors which has some signifcant costs. Add to that the cutting, trimming and curing processes take a lot of manpower. Regarding the topic, there will be some physical shops, especially in tourist areas, and for the brands which rise to the top, flagship stores. But the bulk of sales and distribution will be done online. Now if the government bans online sales and delivery of cannabis, as they did 7 Dec 2020 for alcohol (I think this is still in force?) then yes, there will be many shops, selling to a variety of clients, with several grades of stock and price points. -
There is a process of washing brick weed to break it down into what appears to be a more acceptable form. I'd submit that's why you have wet or damp product. It wasn't freshly picked on the farm this week. It was harvested months ago, maybe ~ 9 months ago. Compressing a wet harvest results in mold/mildew and an ammonia smell and taste. Some say it's not as unhealthy as you might think.

Interesting varietal... https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100072383621186 A new breed of squirrel tail, Thai Red Suriya Sativa. It has a red gene from birth. The bigger the stem, the redder it is, which is not easy to find in Thai. It is a transition from generation to generation to generation 8, which still remains Sativa and redness developed from the original breed. Kering Kraweia Kan Daeng with Sri Kan Daeng for 7 years. They have a lot of other interesting seeds.

PM spars with Move Forward MP during censure debate

He must be desperate to play this card. Sounds like Defamation to me. -
Until the situation sorts out I'd say be cautious, outdoors, away from people, be aware of CCTV? I would NOT smoke cannabis in a designated tobacco smoking area. But that's just me. Even a hotel balcony may raise alarms with the family of four next door complaining, and then you get a visit by the police. So far I haven't seen any encounters reported, believe the police have been told to avoid a potential PR disaster with a hands-off policy.

I've noticed some coalescence around a very informal four-tier rating system here, with terms like Exotic, Top-Shelf, Mid-Tier and "Reggie" (not sure where that comes from?). It's definitely the wild-west so finding a reliable grower/wholesaler is important. I'm negotiating with a grower to grow specific genetics. And there appears to be boatloads of imported cannabis from the U.S. I saw one sale of 50 Kilos, which would be ~ $440,000 retail (pound price). I've got to think that will cause MAJOR issues as there is little to no local economic benefit. Lastly I've been bargain shopping so look for sale items from those I purchased from previously. I bought an item that had been 600, reduced to 400, then reduced to 250. I would have paid 550 for its quality.

Will Pot shops survive selling high end buds?

Until the Canabis Control Act is gazetted, and given the current political climate that could be months or even a year or longer, predictions on the retail landscape are challenging. And once that act is gazetted it will take a year or two for all the government organizations empowered by it to issue regulations. Maybe there will be brick/mortar shops in tourist areas selling to short-time visitors. Like the Cannabis Sandbox concepts thrown around by some government officials? For Thais and resident aliens I think we'll continue to use on-line ordering. Right now I'd guess that 80% of sales, by volume/revenue are from on-line. Why do I need to go to a shop? I can watch bud porn at home. Regarding prices, the market is quite young and not really subject to the usual rules given the pent-up demand, and supply (lack of? or too much). In my very limited experience, stocks sell out quite quickly, hours in some cases, at current prices. But there does seem to be too much dirt weed, and wholesesale prices on that have dropped by ~ 25% since 9 June. That "weed" will soon be 1,000 baht/Kg, in a BOGO scheme. Or it will be used as a building supply? -
^ That looks quite good, especially at 350. I'm set on Hazes for a while, looking for a nice Blue Dream and Jack Herer. Seen a few so far, just waiting for something special, and/or on sale.

Bongs are not Illegal. That's different from saying Bongs are legal. Almost anything can be made to be illegal here, if someone wants to press the matter. Heck, playing cards are illegal here, unless you've obtained an import license. Bong Party has been around for years, and there are dozens of other sellers on FB.

Can you post photos of your purchase? Also, anything to help me find this supplier? LINE Shopping? LINE? I see a few Amnesia Haze: High Station OG Farm, Highway-OG, Highsenberg.

Are there any indica strains you've tried and liked? You want to grow outdoors, with no supplemental light? There is a thread on seeds in this sub-forum. "Hash" can be made from Sativas, Indicas or Hybrids. Just push product through a screen (straight from the freezer), or use the Frenchy Canoli method. But yes the hash you like is probably derived from Indica-dominant strains. Growing Indicas outdoors here is possible but the conditions are not ideal, and the results will also be less than ideal. Now, if you wanted to grow indoors then I'd suggest indica-dominant autoflowers. I can recommend Fastbuds autoflower seeds. But if you live in Afghanistan, well...these are indica starins, you can tell from the bushiness of the plant, and the wider leaves.

Yes, I was until they closed and went to an all-online (LINE - Click to order) sales model. https://shop.line.me/@thedispensary.th I was under the impression that they might open a shop in another location, but maybe they want to see what "controls" might be implemented before commiting to a prime space? It's definitely a buyer's market. Quite a few, like dozens new each day, options, especially in the ~ 400 baht/gram (for 3.5 - 5 gram purchases) space. Way too much to choose from so now it's about finding a few reliable sources who can hopefully continue to grow and deliver premium product. In my home state in the U.S. an eighth is $60, plus 20% tax, $72. So prices here are reasonable for me. Even the cartridges and disposables are not too pricey here, certainly more than mail order in the U.S.

What's in the bag? Provide a link to the sale page, or a photo of any material you have on this soil. If it's some sort of super-soil it may be too hot for germination/seedlings. Most folks create a non-super soil area for germination/seedling. I believe in one pot and not these endless steps of germination gymcrackery, and multiple transplants further stressing the plant. "Trial and error" is unnecessary given to trove of information available on the web. Watch some Youtube videos. If you're growing outside, use a grow bag or air-pot, at least 3, preferrably 5, gallons. Most successful outdoor grows here that I've seen use grow bags - if only so they can move the plants in the event of storms.
