Your "takeway" is incorrect. Recreational use is NOT illegal. Current drafts of this act neither ban nor allow recreational use, implicitly or otherwise. By not mentioniong it, it would therefore remain legal. That could change in the future, once the Cannabis Control Act passes Parliament and is Gazetted. And all the organizations tasked with creating rules and regulations could, essentially ban recreational use. I feel like it's 50-50 right now. But I reserve the right to change my mind as frequently as necessary.

I think you can still find some unique landrace plants and seeds. There seem to be various regions with unique characteristics: North/Chiang Mai, East/Northeast: Nakhon Phanom. Koh Chang. So far chased down a few leads, came close on one but was sold out. There is a limited growing season dictated by the rainy/dry season and lengthy veg and flowering stages here. And yields are quite low. Cannabis vaping options (510 carts, disposables) require an extracted form of Cannabis, which is of course already illegal. These extracts are in the ~ 85-90 % THC content range. These are illegally imported here, from the U.S., but are a bit expensive for the average Thai. A 1 gram (gives ~ 150 - 300 'puffs') cart/disposable is ~ 2,600 baht, and they're relatively easy to suss out. The problem though is that there are fakes with potentially unhealthy contents. So both the hardware (carts, batteries, disposables) and the contents are illegal. Now it's down to enforcement, not always a strong suit here.

March/April? I think that with little variation in daylight the plant would mature over a similar time period (varies by strain obviously), much like an autoflower or a Thai landrace varietal. So you might be looking at ~ 17 weeks. You want as much of the life-cycle to occur and end well within dry season. Sativas might perform better, maybe try something with some Thai breeding or a local landrace. Choosing the right genetics is key. Even with a maturation in dry season, denser buds will be subject to rot. This is why local strain are so larfy (light, airy). Grow in organic soil, with organic nutrients, and use grow bags. Prepare an indoor drying room. Ventilation, Temp/humidity control. Pure outdoor here is so-so. In a green house with suplemental light is better, but then you may have to be careful with light deprivation? Pure indoor is really the only way to go here for quality flower. With temp control/AC, humidity control, max ventilation/fresh air. There's a lot of info out there, which you'll find with a quick search. Maybe also look for equatorial/intertropics grow diaries.

Why will supplies increase exponentially? And do you even understand what "exponential" means? There is a cost of production, and nearly all quality cannabis will have to be grown indoors which has some signifcant costs. Add to that the cutting, trimming and curing processes take a lot of manpower. Regarding the topic, there will be some physical shops, especially in tourist areas, and for the brands which rise to the top, flagship stores. But the bulk of sales and distribution will be done online. Now if the government bans online sales and delivery of cannabis, as they did 7 Dec 2020 for alcohol (I think this is still in force?) then yes, there will be many shops, selling to a variety of clients, with several grades of stock and price points.

There is a process of washing brick weed to break it down into what appears to be a more acceptable form. I'd submit that's why you have wet or damp product. It wasn't freshly picked on the farm this week. It was harvested months ago, maybe ~ 9 months ago. Compressing a wet harvest results in mold/mildew and an ammonia smell and taste. Some say it's not as unhealthy as you might think.

The bigger the stem, the redder it is, which is not easy to find in Thai. It is a transition from generation to generation to generation 8, which still remains Sativa and redness developed from the original breed. Kering Kraweia Kan Daeng with Sri Kan Daeng for 7 years. They have a lot of other interesting seeds.
