  1. Clarification, the free 100 minutes apply to calls between the UM phone and numbers in the U.S. So people can call you from the U.S., and you can call numbers in the U.S. Calls to other countries would come out of you wallet/balance.
  2. Which I did. I wouldn't make such comments if I didn't. And your point is what, exactly? (off to ignore you) :rolleyes
  3. I'm 51/49 on personal use being allowed going forward, but with many controls, laws, rules, regulations. That is I think there is a 51% chance personal use is ultimately legal. I change my % hourly here. That said, the article is still uselessly uninformative and misleading, meant to gin up clicks and posts.
  4. Yes, if you are ROAMING on a partner's network via a GSM signal. However if you have WiFi Calling enabled there are no roaming charges. That's the whole point of WiFi calling. And no fee for receiving or sending SMSes either At least that's how it's worked for me since 2018 when I first got a UltraMobile PAYG SIM. Are you being charged for SMSes? From the Dashboard click WiFi Talk & Text, then "enable" radio button.
  5. 100 minutes (includes inbound and outbound calls) are FREE each month, assumes you've got WiFi Calling enabled (on the UM Dashboard) and within your handset, and you have WiFi. And you could use it if you return to the U.S for a trip, you can add data and voice packs.
  6. UltraMobile PAYG T-Mobile MVNO $13 for SIM and one month on eBay $3 month going forward for 100 min/100 SMS/100 MB Supports WiFi calling (assume your phone does and you have WiFi), so no roaming issues Great dashboard/UI and customer service You do need a friend in the U.S. to activate the SIM in their phone, quite easy to do. I just activated my second UltraMobile SIM this week, I ported an exisiting prepaid mobile number to this new SIM. I actually did the activation from here using a VPN, while my brother sent the activation code and used a spare handset. You can choose an area code, based on a billing zip code. Note that I did also recently change my older UltraMobile number to a more accurate area code, just called up and they did it on the spot. https://www.ultramobile.com/paygo/ has link to eBay. https://myemail.constantcontact.com/Ultra-Mobile-Pay-As-You-Go-SIM-Kit.html?aid=upKs8lb2QYE&soid=1130967958097 You can have it mailed to you for $1.40, or $40.85 for USPS Flat Rate International Priority (6-10 days). I'd search here for UltraMobile where you'll find a lot more detail.
  7. And on Thursday he changed his mind and that order was withdrawn. And the order simply covered the need to for licensing of those selling Cannabis. And I don't think he's ever said unequivocally that recreational use is or should be illegal. He's waffled, mumbled, gesticulated about medical/health/commerciall uses and benefits. This opinion piece earns an F, the equivalent of a Thai "B". Not exactly sure who the author's audience is exactly? Tha Sangha is a sock puppet.
  8. Sorry for taking us even more far afield here... I think that you will be greatly disappointed with an autoflower outdoors here. Autos' lifecycle is determined by time (and genetics of course, esp. the % Ruderalis) and not not light-cycle(s). Most go from seed to harvest 11/12 weeks. Most are grown indoors, with a 20/4 cycle for the full grow. Yes, you can grow an auto outdoors here. https://growdiaries.com/explore?q_strain[]=7214 https://growdiaries.com/explore?q_strain[]=7214&tags=outdoor
  9. "Thai Culture" Is that a local yogurt product? And it wasn't so long ago that the Ministry of Culture (AKA MiniCult) had a painting of topless women on their home page. Awkward. And don't make us dig out those "unseen Siam" photos from days of olde.
  10. Royal Queen Seeds had their grand opening yesterday here in Bangkok. They have more than 115 varieties of seeds. They also sell flower, although have limited strains (three?). Functions as a full cannabis experience (education/learning) location.
  11. I think they're more worried about more concentrated forms of THC than extraction, per se. And I think extraction refers to any form of removal of THC from the flower, whether with chemicals, heat, screens/bags are used. But someone is buying those screens, progressive bags and Rosin presses. Someone close by got busted in August 2020, and in one of the police photos you can see his press.
  12. Assuming you're comfortable ordering online... InvadeIT Advice (they probably have a few resellers in Chiang Rai) https://www.advice.co.th/wheretobuy/ภาคเหนือ/เชียงราย and IHAVECPU is making a splash with Thais.
  13. Let's hope safety remains a priority... Nok Air DD108 DMK-CEI, 30 July 2022 Runway excursion. No fatalaties or injuries. https://www.sanook.com/news/8600318/ Not sure about that airframe? Or the airport status.
  14. Local outdoor crop 2 - 3 months from harvest. Looks like pure Thai landrace. https://www.facebook.com/reel/730052604928192
  15. Official licenses have started to be issued, so that process appears to be working. Seems fairly simple. Another hurdle cleared.
  16. If you want the hash experience legally and easily here just try some Indica-dominant strains. When did you last smoke hash or cannabis? Where was this, or where did the hash come from? Which effects are you hoping to reproduce?
  17. Not exactly. There are HUGE differences. Daylight is the major one. Now Jamaica might be more lattitudenly appropriate? 80% of the quality consumer Cannabis in the U.S. is grown indoors. Different people have different "memories" of Thai sticks, but if you want dirt weed wrapped around a stick, then soaked in bilge water and diesel fuel (from smuggling), then no, you cannot. You can look for Thai landrace strains, which some are being grown here. Or you could look for Sativa-dominant strains, many have Thai genetics. I'd suggest a Sativa would be replicate that Thai stick feeling. Most of locally grown quality cannabis is grown indoors, and from imported seeds. Indoor grown comands a significant price over outdoor. They bother to do it to make money. Many, many shops and online stores are selling Cannabis imported from the U.S. Thailand does not have the "ideal climate" to grow cannabis. The labor rate is not really a factor until maybe harvest, trimming and curing.
  18. I get that Malaysian law (probably) prohibits the production, distribution and use of Cannabis. But surely those statutes cover one while in Malaysia? I mean if gambling is iilegal in a country, surely one can travel to a country where it is legal, gamble, and then return without being arrested and charged? I see that some countries (Singapore) test their own citizens returning, and treat positive results as if they had done it in their home country. But tourist/visitors? Ouch. (I think the Brazilian arrested in Indonesia with Cannabis purchased in Thailand did transit/stop over in KUL.) Maybe this is just a land border issue?
  19. I think those 250 appointed Senators might have a bone to pick with this "academic"?
  20. Getting the Cannabis Control Act gazetted is the first step. Until then it will be special proclamations to deal with one-off issues as they are raised. Once the CCA is in place, then all the agencies, boards, ministries will start issuing rules/regulations governing all things Cannabis. I think it will be a long process, maybe 18 - 24 months AFTER the CCA is gazetted until things shake out. Personal use will probably survive, albeit with more controls than exist today.
  21. Thank you for your concerns. But I'm not "upset". On the contrary, I get great joy watching you self-immolate.
  22. You're on a roll. I think the second post on this thread adequately describes the thread and the OP. Trolls gonna troll.
  23. You can report your concerns to the Mods. The attribution for much of your post... https://gsthr.org/countries/profile/tha/#:~:text=E-cigarettes are prohibited under, importation of modern medicinal products. You may be right, just about anything can be deemed legal or illegal here depending on the situation, and the parties involved. So if you're caught by the police and charged with violating one of the edicts re: using Cannabis, then you might easily find a charge added on about using an illegal device. And buying/importing many things requires a license, like playing cards or marital aids, so yes buying/importing these devices may be "illegal". That said, "heated tobacco products" applies, I think, to products (tobacco) which can be heated. And not the device which does the heating. Note that that sentence is under the "Snus" category, further focusing on the product and not the way it is consumed. As Cannabis is legal, with some restrictions, I honestly do not think the authorities are going to crack down on the use or possession of, dry herb vaporizers. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if some aroma therapy (Terpene, for example) already offer this service in high-end spas for wellness packages for high-end tourists? Everyone has to make their own choices re: quality of life and risk/reward. Using a dry herb vaporizer to consume cannabis at home is probably not going to "get someone arrested". But thanks for your concern, and legal advice.
