https://www.facebook.com/happyCandyAfterdark/ Doesn't seem very active? I think you'll have to do your own research. Visit some of the larger shops, if you can. Start searching on FB and LINE. Eventually, the algorithm will feed you good options. There are fake gummies, import gummies, and locally produced gummies. Do you have a price-point or budget? Any idea on your dosage? I follow quite a few outlets (~ 45 ish) on LINE, maybe five or so carry gummies. They are all imported, and not cheap. Example 1,000 mg per box, 10 pieces per box, 2,200 baht per box.Wide choice of six+ in each Indica, Hybrid and Sativa. If there were some silver bullet someone would have shared it here by now.

US Passport Renewal Question
bamnutsak replied to Felton Jarvis's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/processing-times.html I simply offered my guess on interpreting the status message you obtained when checking within the U.S. site. I think (again my conjecture) that passport renewals submitted by Embassies get put into the "expedited" category. I could be wrong, I often am. I have not renewed my passport recently, but I will be doing so soon. Hence I follow this subject quite closely here and on FB. Most recent first-hand reports are in the five to six-week range, door-to-door. -
US Passport Renewal Question
bamnutsak replied to Felton Jarvis's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I think that service estimate is for renewals made within the U.S. with no expediting. Seen quotes of that being up to 13 weeks now. USEMBBKK says: You can prepare your passport application package at any time and the process may take up to six to eight weeks from the date we receive your application to when you receive your new passport book by mail. https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/passports/adult-passport-renew/ Lots of experiences shared here, recent reports are in the five to six week range. In the many great threads on this topic here, unfortunately scattered across many sub-forums so a search is useful, most seem to get through the mail-in process without any challenging "loops". Start here: https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/passports/instructions-for-ds-82-processing-by-mail-and-online-fee-payment-for-u-s-citizens-residing-in-thailand/ The photo requirements are clearly stated. The biggest challenges for folks here seem to be payment for the passport and payment for the return EMS. So do a bit of research on those challenges, specifically get registered with pay.gov (can be done via id.me optionally) and the EMS site (although you can buy the EMS "package" at a post office) as some have reported. https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/790155895 https://www.thailandpostmart.com/product/1013460000929/ -
TM30 website "view report" / TM47 type detail
bamnutsak replied to SooKee's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
As long as it (TM47) matches the TM30 Address of Record you should be OK. Mine doesn't. TM30 Address of Record is in Thai, I use English on the new site/TM47 paper form. -

I think your conjecture is off the mark. They used to ask for all that information with the "old"/"previous" TM30 system. Type of Visa Expire Date of Stay Point of Entry TM 6 No Relation -
This is also a concern with SQ. Was an issue in the SQ 006 crash. Maybe they tear away?

OK. Get a screen grab NOW. In six days you won't be able to view/find the record. -

When did you file? Within the last seven days? Where is this magnifying glass? -
So there wouldn't be any similar drought with the Kra Isthmus Canal? It's called Dry Season for a reason. And "normal" (pre-drought) wait times at the Panama Canal already exceed any benefits vs. Straits of Malacca. Canal: Never Land Bridge: see above

SCB Mobile App: Problem with Bill Pay
bamnutsak replied to bamnutsak's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Problem resolved Main screen My Debit & ATM Cards Press on Debit & ATM Cards You should see a representation of your ATM/Debit cards Press "Services" See Block Online Payment section block/unblock domestic online payment block/unblock international online payment For some reason, both of these were set to Block. I un-Blocked domestic online payments. All is good. It's weird because the app updated Sep 18, but I paid an online bill on 20 Oct. So it wasn't some new version default setting. And I didn't change this setting myself; I didn't even know there was a menu tree buried there. -
How Thailand’s seven-decade submarine dream hit the rocks and sank
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
For sixty-five of those years (1951-2016) submarines were not allowed. Submariners fomented the Mahattan Rebellion. So no subs were allowed during the reign of Rama 9. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/2018/06/29/battlefield-bangkok-the-time-the-navy-defied-the-army-and-lost/ -
Thanks for this detailed, albeit third-hand (agent-friend-you-us) account of EK's aggressive enforcement of the proof of onward travel requirement. That EK requires that the onward travel must be from the same airport as arrival, and must be within the validity of the visa or TVE. Of course, the OP is flying DL, maybe KE, and has a valid visa. But I do question the accuracy, veracity, and logic of your interpretations of EK's policies. For example, EK could not sell an open-jaw ticket USA-BKK/HKT-USA, as the onward ticket departs HKT when arriving at BKK. I can guarantee EK would not deny boarding outbound. And, assuming your return ticket was within 30 days, let's say, then that return ticket is not valid if you are denied entry at BKK unless you wait in Detention for 29 days. So what? EK denies boarding? Of course not. In every account of denied entry (at BKK) here and on FB (first-hand) the individual is responsible for purchasing their own ticket. No airline is forced to transport someone without the issuance of a ticket. Do airlines pay some sort of fine? Maybe. Could be urban myth? Lastly, buy an Onward Ticket ex-BKK.

Thai Interior minister hails the arrest of deputy’s son-in-law
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I think most of Chada's family (father, son) have been murdered in gun battles. https://thailand.postsen.com/live-style/160969/Turn-over-the-history-of-‘Chada-Thaiseth’-the-godfather-of-the-Sakae-Krang-River-Basin.html -
And any savings in shipping time would be erased by wait times to traverse the canal. Vessel wait times at Panama Canal increased more than 40% in August The limitations have led to bottlenecks at both ends of the canal, pushed up freight tariffs and forced some vessels to divert to avoid delivery delays, especially those that do not have priority to pass. Waiting time averaged 8.85 days for southbound transit and 9.44 days for northbound passage in August, from 5.56 days and 6.55 days, respectively, in July, according to data from the Panama Canal Authority. https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/vessel-wait-times-panama-canal-increased-more-than-40-august-2023-09-02/

A canal will NEVER happen. It's been floated forever (like late 1600's), always shot down for national security issues. And how would a canal be less "congested" than the "geopolitically sensitive Strait of Malacca"?

Clarence Thomas loan for luxury RV was forgiven, Senate Democrats say Washington — Most of a $267,000 loan that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas received from a wealthy friend to buy a luxury RV may have been forgiven, according to Senate Democrats. In 2008, nine years after Thomas' friend Anthony Welters lent him money to purchase a motorhome, the health care executive forgave the balance of the loan, according to a report from Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/clarence-thomas-rv-loan-forgiven-anthony-welters-senate-finance-committee/ https://www.finance.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/senate_finance_committee_welters_thomas_memo_102523.pdf I'm sure there's a good explanation. Nice to have a Sugar-Daddy I guess.

Thai Interior minister hails the arrest of deputy’s son-in-law
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
How's that going? Last I heard (BP today) he had completed his "list", with 180 individuals who are "actively" influential, and another 625 individuals who have agreed to reform themselves. Ten provinces are free of influential people. Sounds like corruption has been eliminated. Phew, I feel better. -
Not much meat on the bones from this speech, at least not much in the full article. The usual clap-trap: control inflation with subsidies, more trade agreements, Land Bridge. He's a talker, not a doer. Classic Thai, he just assumes he can bring economic growth into existence if he talks about it enough. Clueless, thank goodness he doesn't have any real power.

This is good news. I don't recall a single report in the last few months where the approval came before day 15. My last successful report in June took three days. My last report (unsuccessful) in September sat in Pending for 16 days before I canceled it and filed in person. Your 12 day report is hopefully a trend that things are returning to normal.
