"Your friend" should have warned you about the possibility of that happening. I think he owes you a steak dinner somewhere fancy next time you're in Bangkok.

He's a long-time good friend here, and he did say that I should be careful of the traffic, but I didn't think that a traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing would present a problem!

Yes, but it's a bit more tricky than on computer or mobile.

The easyest way might be SmartDNS. Another option would be a router with openVPN client function.

There was another thread which was dealing with various VPNs, but I can't find it at the moment so I will post on here because SmartDNS is mentioned in this post and I have been lauding the praises of this for quite some time because I've never had a problem with it – – until last night when I tried to watch BBC iPlayer using it (yet again) but I got a message saying that it wasn't available in my location! First time this has ever happened.

So I reset it and tried again, but to no avail, however luckily I have kept Nord VPN on file because that did work most of the time (not all of the time I will admit) and I was able to use this to watch football on BBC iPlayer.

Today SmartDNS is working so I will revert to this as my main "VPN" and investigate further.

Has anybody else had any problems with SmartDNS?

If actual democracy elects the scumball trump, then the old adage proves itself again, that the people get the govt they deserve.

That so many loser, poorly educated, "keep govt out of my Medicare" morons think the self-serving, pathological liar, convicted sex offender, convicted charity fraudster, convicted bank fraudster, convicted insurance fraudster, begging grifter trump is their messiah, good luck to them and you.

Success has always eluded trumpers, but the bloated one told the losers their abject failure in life is others' fault. Losers grasp excuses. I see that when I look at trump rallies, where he rambles incoherently, I see it on this site where nobody has any actual explanation for trump's calling his goobers to DC, telling them to march to the Capitol, getting involved in the fake elector scheme, trying to pressure the GA SecState to make up votes, stealing thousands of highly classified documents (as if wedding planners need such things), etc.

I guess losers are going to be losers, so rather than see their messiah for what he is, they live for the false hope that he will somehow salvage their total failure of a life.

    Good luck to you.

I was going to write something similar, but you beat me to it!

And to quote one particularly dumb Maganut, "this says everything about you" and I apply this to that particular poster, because if someone is stupid enough to support a compulsive liar and a convicted sex offender and crook, and wants them to be POTUS, then that truly does say everything about them.....sad but on par for the poorly educated losers in the US.

Yes, click on your account > My Orders> in the box click on All orders, then sift through the pages which load from bottom up...😉

Ah, were it that easy Transam!!!!

After I had reported to Lazada that my previous orders didn't seem to be readily available on their site, they decided to do something about it, and now my orders are all over the place.....with notations next to the wrong item and vice versa, so it's almost impossible to find out what I previously ordered.

I should go back to them and asked them to look at it again, however they made such a huge stuff up of it before, I'm reluctant to do that. Having said that, I still use them and find them very useful for everyday items.

Trump's dementia is getting worse, and impossible to cover up.

He could go to Venezuela for treatment, except he can't say the name of the country.

Fun fact: during Reagan's second term, his Alzheimers was advanced, and he was lucky that his wife was capable of guiding him around and telling him what to say. Nancy Reagan was the de facto president for Reagan's second term  and she was a Democrat, so things worked out well.

I can't see Mercedes doing the same for Trump.

I had to do a little bit of research on that sentence @Danderman123 as I was not aware that trump had called his wife "Mercedes" and I think it probably went over the heads of a few other posters.

Maybe his mind (tiny though it is) was on other things like trying to see if he could purchase Greenland?

  6. Trawling through offerings on BBC iPlayer I came across the movie "Doctor Zhivago", and I had often heard about this but had never seen it, so decided to watch it after all these years.

I thought it was a good movie, if a little lengthy, but some great performances by Julie Christie, Omar Sharif, Tom Courtenay and Rob Steiger, with Alec Guinness playing a part in the movie and also contributing to the dialogue to hold it together.

So pleased that I watched it in the end, after all these years, and the ending was not what I thought it would be – – I will leave it at that.

  7. On the subject of protein, and meat, we have all been led to believe that eating too much meat is not good for one (I exclude processed meats from this) and that's why so many people are advocating a vegetarian diet, which is supposed to be very good for one.

I was going through a library of documentaries the other night and came across one about the South American gauchos, who live their lives basically looking after cattle and sheep on grasslands, and their diet consists almost entirely of meat, and that ranges from testicles through to intestines through to muscle fibre and so on, in fact none of the beast is wasted.

So I got to thinking that they must have a short lifespan eating all of that meat, so I did a little research and discovered that the average lifespan of the gaucho is 76 years which is about the same as the average Western male!!

Not that I eat much meat at all, but when I do dive into a lovely steak, I won't have second thoughts about it, or think about switching to a vegetarian diet.......not that a vegetarian diet would sit well with a nice glass of red wine!

Maybe we overthink these sort of things???

I am a "liberal" and in this case agree there is no good reason to put up a gay pride flag in a classroom. Is there such a thing as a "straight pride" flag? If there were, should that also be put up? And how about an "Asexual Pride" (Not incel) pride? US and state flag only. If student wants to wear a button, fine, no problem.

I am neither a Democrat or a Republican supporter, although I do favour the Democrats. HOWEVER, I also see no good reason to put up a gay pride flag in a classroom, and as you say, I agree that the US flag or state flag are the only flags which belong in a classroom.

That being the case, there will be no arguing or disagreements about which flags are being displayed – – simple really.

If you truly believe that you are being rational then you should fall in behind Kennedy and other Democrats that are trying hard to push back against the radical far left that has taken hold over the Party.  Your reasonable points alude to being a rational leftie, and it is you guys that need to get your Party back to the middle. As Elon so clearly conveyed, your Party has gone far left.   Another example - Invading the house of the ex President to recover documents allegedly stolen, only to have nothing happen as an outcome because nothing was 'stolen' or of a 'national security' level to warrant charges etc. And to then have nothing happen to the sitting President, when it was ascertained he had similar documents stored in his garage, speaks volumes about what the Democrat Party has become. If you want more, just look at the attempts being made by Democrat Judges to have Trump removed from the ballots for an allegation (insurrection) that has not been proven in a Court, but what is merely political rhetoric by the Democrats. The onyl reason Trump has not been charged with issurection is because that would give Trump the opportunity to prove that the claims fo an insurrection are compltete political fabrication.  attempts being made by Democrat Judges to have Trump removed from the ballots for an allegation (insurrection) , when in fact all they did was tresspass and protest a political matter - something that radical Democrats have done themselves in the past.

Yes Trump is an idiot and a political incompetent and is extremely brash and rude at times. But the reason so many Americans voted for him, and will again, is because he speaks out against the Democrat Party and how it is trearing down the American values and all the PC rubbish they hate.  The biggest reason he won in 2016 was because Clinton was clearly guilty of breaking several laws and she got away with it right in front of the American people - they had enough of that going on and turned to Trump as a change.

Yes Trump should have done what Al Gore did when he lost due to some clear 'anomolies' in the results in Florida, but as I said he is an idiot and he is very politically 'unaware'.  But to only see Trump's faults (and there are many), and to see no faults in the Biden administration, and to only believe the Democrat and media mates driven fabrications like Russiagate and an Insurrection etc etc etc, has resulted in a complete breakdown in by-partisanship in American politics.

Hopefully Trump wins, tears down the far left swamp and all the PC rubbish, and then after 4 years the American people become more 'moderate' and elect a more 'central' POTUS that hopefully both the Democrats and Republicans will nominate. Trump will then become a part of American history - and seen as a response to the far left woke progressive lunacy that had taken over US politics, but not something that they want to see continue after he had done the job he was elected to do.

I think you really believe this nonsense you have posted, and the only thing missing is that it wasn't written by Lewis Carroll who wrote two of the most popular works of fiction in the English language.

........radical far left that has taken hold over the Party.

........ Another example - Invading the house of the ex President to recover documents allegedly stolen, only to have nothing happen as an outcome because nothing was 'stolen' or of a 'national security' level to warrant charges etc

......attempts being made by Democrat Judges to have Trump removed from the ballots for an allegation (insurrection)

....Now it is even worse, as shown by the evidence that is becomming evident that the 2020 election was less than 'pure and honest

....Hopefully Trump wins, tears down the far left swamp and all the PC rubbish

Not one ounce of truth or sense in your diatribe and false claims, so off to bed you go with your cup of cocoa (not Kool-Aid, you know what that does to you) and perhaps you will feel better in the morning.

  11. I finally decided to watch a series that I'd noticed on BBC iPlayer for some time, called "Steeltown Murders" and it was good, although it stretched over four episodes and IMO it could have been completed in three episodes.

It takes a little bit of getting used to because it goes backwards and forwards in time from when a detective was investigating the murders of three young girls in and around Port Talbot (Wales) when it actually happened, to 30 years later when the investigation is reopened.

Pretty straightforward with some good acting and a little bit of guesswork needed, but all in all a good evening's entertainment.

I remember reading something about this a while back, but search didn't help.

I have some heart issues that might, or could be, fatal.

I have bank accounts in bkk bank and one in Kbank. One account in bkk bank is for immigration purpose, no ATM card.

I don't own anything here and the bank accounts are all in my name only. Balance around 2 million.

I have a live in girlfriend that has been with me for over a year. I trust her....famous last words I know..haha

Anyway, I have shown her all she needs to know on how to move my money online. I mean from my accounts to hers,,,,if I die.

The rental agent here knows of my visits to the hospital this month, and I told her why I was going.

Now, she has told my girlfriend that if I die, she can not transfer money out of my accounts...legally.

Told her the police would arrest her and make her return the money to the bank....I say BS...but????

I don't have a will here, but I think we will see if we can remedy that.

Anyone have knowledge or experience that would be useful?

    Thank you.

I have sent you a PM.
