Likewise it is highly possible for a fully vaxed person to carry and pass the Virus to an unvaxed sole.
Yes indeed, and this is what makes the current situation untenable.

Place their names on a list, when they acquire Covid, simply advise that they will not benefit from
free health-care, but must pay all private charges. Our local hospital is working 6 days a week giving vaccines, I as a Farang received my 2 doses locally, and free of charge. There is no excuse for not being vaccinated.

The old ladies who work in our local wet market have been discussing where to go this Christmas, looks like Gstaad or Mauritius will get their vote.

A passbook may not show all transactions when a person does not update the book frequently. Instead, one summary transaction is printed which could represent multiple transactions. A summary transaction may occur for other reasons like a bank software update, glitch, etc., forcing a summary transaction.
Since a summary transaction can represent multiple transaction over X-period one or more of those transactions could show a person failed to meet a certain extension of stay requirement like failing below a certain minimum balance, not receiving a monthly foreign transfer(s) of X-amount, etc.
But an annual statement will show "all" transactions.
Therefore it makes showing the bank book superfluous.

There is the problem in a nutshell, people on low or no incomes spending 100 baht a time in search of happiness, or spending less on a daily basis,20 baht or so, but 7 days a week underground lottery.

How anyone who is in full time employment would consider traveling here over the festive period is beyond me. The risks of being detained here upon arrival, with all the associated costs, but more importantly, they are risking losing their job, if unable to return home in time to start work.

Better before flying, buy a few test kits. When they test you positive in Thailand, do your own test and if it shows negative, challenge them.
Good luck with that, Thailand Doctors do not like being challenged.

What's to be afraid of?
My Thai relatives are so completely scared about Covid, yet they are all double vaccinated, due to excellent work by local hospitals. They are also scared of ghosts.

The auto stop function is virtually useless but consumers don’t now this so it’s been put into most cars.
.Agreed. My Mazda 2 has a switch on the dashboard to toggle on and off, mine is permanently off.

This one statement sums up Thailand so succinctly .

I have a solid metal head (round) with 2 holes which take your choice of polypropylene cord, I use 2mm, you cut the cord to length insert via a gate which holds the cord in place. Much safer around the house than a blade. it takes seconds to reload and being solid metal, lasts much longer than the plastic bump type.

Would this refer to a lemongrass tea product ?, I bought a packet, at the same I bought a peach tea packet, there were 20 peach tea sachets, but only 8 of the lemongrass . The external packaging does actually show the package contains 8 sachets, very clever internal packaging.
I got both at less than half-price.

Will Immigration offices(Nong Khai) be inundated with extension requests at the end of September. Thinking particularly about Lao nationals. My extension of stay ends 29th , plan attending on the 22nd.

Really enjoyable show with a great soundtrack from the much underestimated and often overlooked (IMHO) Donovan.
What about the placement of T Rex material, quite disconcerting the first time I heard it, but now see that someone had great vision to place it in the show.

Playing loud music, smoking in non-smoking areas, talking loudly in public, disobeying simple rules for the common good......I find many people are totally inconsiderate of others.
The most frustrating ones are the people who defend the above and say it is their right to do what they want to do.....the very definition of selfishness.
I find that our locals “shout” rather than merely talk loudly, even when standing next to each other.

Never mind too tall, i had few ladies quipping "Oh too big, too big" not much i can do about that is it now?...
Yes I get the “too big, too big” spiel, every time, it is becoming tiresome. Standing in a 7/11, a 4 year old Thai boy, looked up at me and shouted to his Mum, “Mum , a giant “, I am only 187cm, and about 69kg.

Everything in settings is UK choices only - I can't edit my address to Thailand and it won't accept a Thai number,
Not sure my brother would be happy with OTOP/SMS for me coming in at all hours.
My credit card now uses an app, which does not accept an overseas set of digits.
