Have they advised motorcyclists, baht bus drivers, and the ubiquitous food delivery drivers, if not, then please do not go ahead with the plan. -
Sneaking around corners on motorbikes
stereolab replied to NorthernRyland's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
Her excessive speed, with a baby in her arms is obvious. I specified “junction” in my comment, not side street. Motorcycles, regardless of the danger they are putting themselves or others in, will NOT stop and look for oncoming traffic. -
Sneaking around corners on motorbikes

Not looking as they enter main roads is normal behavior here, the lady on the motorcycle is driving too fast as she approaches a hazardous area, a junction, especially considering her babies. -

I drove to Udon Thani today, a 3.5 hour return trip, I have never seen such a palling driving standards in my life. Very few driving under the speed limits, lane changes just for the sake of it, undertaking when there was no need. The list goes on. Not a single policeman in sight. The lack of care and attention is beyond belief. -
Especially when some of the questions make little sense.

I recently , on a Saturday afternoon, had a white van pull up outside our rarely used back entrance. An individual wearing a quasi-uniform approached saying that I had a problem with my visa. I laughed in his face, saying I renewed my extension of stay (11th year) last week. He showed me a printout of an obviously older Sino-Thai gentleman asking if this was me. I told him it obviously was not. He asked to see my passport, I showed him, but did not release custody of it. He apologized and left. A very strange encounter. My local Immigration office have never carried out a home visit in those 11 years.

One thing you must do, is place, say 2000 baht in a white envelope, and pass it to the deceaseds wife at an evening prayer session, making sure that people see the gesture.

It is generally becoming more difficult to do anything on this site. Very heavy on adverts, the CSS element needs substantial review. -
1000 Island Dressing on a Pizza????

They put mayonnaise on a pizza I ordered in Nong Khai, never returned. -
No. But I would not accept them NOT signing a simple form. My bank does sign my LC, for both my pensions. Furthermore I also telephone the DWP to confirm receipt of my LC. No tantrums involved.
-
Your first priority is to close the 2 accounts, and scout around for a bank that wants your money AND will sign your LC.

£1600.00 will be spent by some, not all, on alcohol, cigarettes and lottery scratch cards. We already have, in the UK, a UI scheme, as for years individuals have been able to play the system into receiving dole money, whilst perfectly able to work, they also received free housing and house improvements, including new showers, external ramps and decking. Once they fritter away their £1600.00 they will go and apply for emergency assistance.

They are causing you to much grief, move on, there are other, better, providers out there. I pay ,via True Money slip, each month, the provider does not know my bank details, or my home address.
