Go to your local hospital for the expert eye test. They are not interested in selling you overpriced frames. In my local hospital, the optometrist on measuring my wife's eyes refused to give her the prescription and insisted that she come visit her in her private shop in town to get her frames and lenses. No come - no get measurement.! I sh#t you not. TIT ????

B800k savings? - get your tax refund
hughrection replied to 10years's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I think you are referring to the Ezy Account here that was initially 1.5%. It is now 0.9. I may be wrong and so if you can provide a link where SCB still pays 1.5%, I would appreciate it. Many thanks. -

For all of you who think the following is extreme - think again. These people who are deliberately setting fires need to be removed from the population. This is manslaughter or even murder and it needs to be dealt with as such. Post the best army snipers throughout national parks and let them get on with removing the vermin that start these fires. ???? It won't take long for the message to get to these plebs.

Total outright lie! Clearly, the digger is wider than the truck, hence the imbalance. See it all the time here. In my country of origin, putting a digger that is wider than the vehicle carrying it, is an instant no-go. It's likely that it's illegal but who's gonna catch them? The cops are useless. ????

Unbelievably, I cannot find a decent mop in Thailand! Lot's of cheap rubbish from China, but nothing of real quality. I just want to be able to mop my floor with ease. Please help with suggestions from online sources, Global House and the like. I know it seems ridiculous, but I need your help in this regard. Many thanks in advance. ???? -

Teaching options - advice appreciated

Nonsense, he has a master's degree and he's Thai. I am in a similar situation and he will get a work permit without issue. He could also work in any university here with his qualification. Coupled with the fact that he clearly has a master of the English language and one can also assume he speaks Thai, there will be many opportunities for him. Unfortunately, they will try to pay you a Thai salary and not one that a foreigner would usually get. However, over time, the salary will rise and you get all of the government employee perks. Good luck. -
