  1. my car is over 10 years old but well maintained . so not sure if it is open loop system . i assume it's a injector based.

so like one poster suggested, i should just clean or change the injector ? is it going to help? surely i never changed or cleans injector ever.

    it doesn't sound too expensive.

thanks all of you who dropped by. really helps. :)

  2. Hello All,

my car runs smooth on LPG. But it's been a while since i drove my car on fuel . i have automatic LPG system which means the car starts on fuel.

however, i'm noticing when i fully drive on fuel the acceleration is not getting the force like it used to and it is cluttering a bit. The moment i switch to LPG, it runs very smooth and picks up very well.

before taking to garage, it would be great if i have some idea about the problem otherwise they will just rip me off. i assume it is some dirt.

    any suggestion would be appreciable.

    thanks

  3. Hi Transam

u were right. i went back home and opened the hood only to find out the wiring connector was disconnected.

The guy forgot to hook it back.

my car is smooth as silk now.

thanks so much for your help mate. You saved lot of my money.

before i used to use Shell engine oil. Then i changed to sports english oil recommended by my garage. Then i noticed i was not getting good mileage as before so i flashed it and got back to Shell engine oil (after using for 3 months, 5k km)

could that be a problem? however, when engine is hot, it seems to run okay but not as good as before.

Oil no problem. Sounds like cold start enrichment (choke) is not working. Might have a wire off. There should be a sensor on the air filter tube with a wiring connector on it. Check it has been reconnected or wiggle it about, disconnect and reconnect.

  6. Difficult to say without looking under the hood. How old was the air filter ? Did the guy blow the crap out from the inside out. If not he might have compacted the crap.

Take the air filter out and drive the car round the block. If it is OK then buy a new filter, if the same, will need investigation.

PS. Did you put fuel in at the same time ?

    hi,

no i didn't put fuel at the same time.

the thing is my car was absolutely fine before this guy touched my filter.....my filter is 4 months old. i didn't notice how he blew the crap.

my gut feeling is when he was unscrewing the hose, he mistakenly messed up with fine-tune screw.

    thanks,

  7. Hello experts,

yesterday i went to Shell (rama 9) with my 15 years old car to change the engine oil.

The guy also took out the air filter to blow clean the dust out of it. not only he took out the filter but also the entire hose pipe which is connected to engine.

    Everything seems okai .

but now when i drive, i feel 1st and 2nd gear not getting the power. It is backfiring when i accelerate.

Today morning when the engine was cold, it started alright but it didn't drive properly till the engine was hot.

what could be the problem here?

did the guy reassembled the filter improperly ? or he messed up with the engine tune?

The car was running really smooth before i went to Shell .

    any advice appreciated.

    thanks

  8. It is a confirmed order. they asked for certificate so i need to get it done.

Well, Mazel Tov. I hope it works out. I'm sure there is a good market in Israel for Thai tropical fruits as so many Israelis have visited Thailand.

    thank you so much.

  9. Hello All,

we are a Thai company, exporting thai fruits abroad. First time we are exporting in Israel but they need Kosher certificate.

Is there any company in Thailand that can certify us ? Or do i need to contact Rabbi for these process?

If yes, does anybody have any contacts?

I just want to make sure that our fruits are properly inspected.

    thanks in advance...

  10. I'm currently using Thunderer Tires on my Mazda3. I drive at 120km/h....sometimes 140km/p. I've put 65,000km on the tires and will be replacing it when I hit 70,000. The tires are now 18 months old. with a decent amount of tread left and I've never had a problem. I use BQuick free balancing/rotation every 10,000km.

Overall the tires are quiet with very little road noise feed back. I will buy Thunderer again when the time comes.

thank you. Finally a man with experience.

  12. thanks for the reply guys...currently my tyres are 195/50R15 ....but i'm thinking of getting 195/55R15....i found those to be a bit wider so should handle nicely...yes i do cruize at 170km speed but that's only for few seconds....i maintain at around 90km-100km .....i don't do much of long haul drive......even if i do that wont' be more than 300km at once.

judging from the comments above , i don't think anybody has any experience with the brand just except guys like warpspeed. I drive an inexpensive old car so i don't want to put on like 15k baht on tyres.

just because it is Thai brand and a new one, i won't put it away. It is sold by a reputed seller like Bquick so there must be something about it. they are thai product, locally made , new in the market therefore for obvious reasons they would provide cheaper cost to capture the market. it is inexpensive doesn't mean it is bad quality.

so if anybody using these tyres currently, i would like to know their view....i dont' care about the noise...i care about the smoothness and durability ...and should last at least 50k km ...thanks.

  13. Hello All,

does anybody have any experience with thai brand tyre name "Thunderer" ? i drive an old Ecar with 2000c Engine and sometimes i do drive 170km+.

just noticed my tyres are worn out so need to have those changed.

Thunderer looks the most inexpensive of all at Bquick.

    i'm also confused which one to get ? 195/50R15 and 195/55R15 ? i have 15inch alloy.

    thanks guys,,

  14. i have never seen sunflower field in my life so really want to see it and take picture.....looking for the nearest field from bangkok may be within 1.5 hours distance .....i have my own ride but i want to make it a day trip perhaps during the weekends......

does anybody have any idea the nearest sunflower field ? perhaps with a google map location?

    thanks

  15. Hello experts,

i'm driving an old mitsubishi lancer Ecar (evo 3 model) with 4g63na engine. very smooth car so far.

but i'm having this issue recently. It's getting difficult to start on a cold engine, it coughs for a while then eventually starts. But its starts like a charm when the the engine is hot.

i have got a new battery. i drive on LPG and gasohol 95. haven't changed spark plugs for a year. 6000km+, yet to change the engine oil.

but i have a doubt if above reasons are the cause of slow start in the morning.

    please advice,

    thanks mate
