  1. true to form. an empty shell if there ever was one on this forum. nothing to share..... because nothing there. Its ok. we accept all types .
  2. you're great with the one liners and emojis . I wonder if you can write maybe a paragraph or two , sharing with us peons the story and success or failure of your relationship . We have plenty of time... no need to make it brief
  3. From what i see in Thailand (i'm not up to date on other countries, though US ads seem to show men as lightly bearded canines begging for a cookie ) .. in Thailand with older guys, many retired and thinking of themselves as well educated and worldly , I often observe disparities in age and a definite absence of what , imo, is a feeling of happiness and sociability with their thai female partners. I kinda agree that some of these guys look well meaning (What would you like, dear) , while the females look distracted and uninterested. Unless shopping, of course. admitabley..... my generalization
  4. instead of copy and paste.... you can highlight and then click on "quote" then others will know who you are quoting 😉 if you want the WHOLE post to show , no need to highlight part of it, just click quote
  5. It's true. I saw him bringing her lunch ......😅
  6. I would never ACCEPT it ...... there, corrected it for you . lol but, when i was closer to your age I did accept a few lies, etc. ....before i pulled the switch. NOW, one and done if its a biggie
  7. my only "marriage" was 38 years ago and lasted for 16 years. No demands. (why i chose to end it was simply... time to move on for me. ) For ten years after that I lived my second bachelorhood , had good times and some of the usual disappointments when looking for a live-in. Being as i was nearing 60, and had lived here a long time , it was almost impossible to find a decent looking girl without issues . Did have some that wanted me, in the 25 to 35 range..but ( i was very particular , maybe as you are) . One eventually came up that was a keeper. No changes , no faces, no pouting, no fights, no demands, etc etc. Is she Jane Fonda at 25 years old ?? not quite 😎 But those 25 year olds will not display what they are really like until time goes by.
  8. "give em an inch..... and they think they're a ruler " in truth... i try to respect, and want (demand) the same in return. Choosing a pleasant and agreeable mate is a must . If red flags appear.. it almost never gets better
  9. The younger guys wonder why the heck some ladies choose to be with a much older guy over them . They don't get it . The older the guy.... the less time to have to put up with him ! Not such a dumb strategy if you think about it . and yes.... others choose something with less body odor, but then try to get payment more on a monthly basis . Mine just loves me for my sharp sarcastic wit . ok Jake C . Let me have the blast of scorn . haha This is Thailand, and like it or not there are many scenarios regarding male/female relationships. Remember, even the "good ones" have a very large failure rate
  10. sorry.... the system got it wrong and i tried to delete. You got it right on with your comment about his getting upset.... and they always try to say otherwise
  11. he's used to controlling everything...... I am just trying to help him get past it ..😇 "This incessant need for validation often stems from low self-esteem or insecurities. By making everything about themselves, these individuals are constantly seeking affirmation from others to feel good about themselves. Understanding this trait can help us better navigate our interactions with such individuals, and maybe even offer them the support they might need."
  12. I think that speaks for itself , . Tell us , did they love your controlling personality and how you get nasty so easily ?
  13. right. especially when it has absolutely nothing to do with the topic It's ok, i'm just jealous
  14. Never misses the opportunity to throw in some reference to your assets . Never.
  15. haha I have noticed that recent change of BM's perspective..... as I have been around long enough to remember his " i don't care if i die tomorrow" attitude. Of course.... he had some serious UTI stuff going on at that time 😅😅 ahhh life is change . much depends on the urine and semen flow . and for many... how the "partner" has been acting like lately "Go with the flow "
  16. 1. I do not think you two are "legally" married (done at Amphur) 2. I assume the land is in her name on a land title ? 3. Even if married..... thai law is specific in that any assets previous to marriage belong 100% to the individual ( any acquired later are joint property ) most thais can at least know this much . maybe yours is "special ? "
  17. RP...... I do not use any A.I. system. just wondering if this is a true statement : "President Trump recently said Big Pharma is more powerful than the US Congress, US Senate and US Supreme Court.
  18. should be mandatory reading for beginners . there are cheap and simple fixes for many of the most common ailments ( colds, stomach problems, throat issues, ibs, skin cancers.... etc etc. ) My trial and error and those and other issues takes time, dedication ( nothing works in 1 day ..... except baking soda for gas , which can usually fix it in a few minutes ! 55 ) this site is useful... but can be confusing trying to figure out which remedy one feels most comfortable with. I start SIMPLE first . I used to rinse sinus with salt water... helps a bit . Finally got a bit braver and tried the ACV ......... wow . much better https://www.earthclinic.com/ailments.html
  19. Just like how we evaluate the plumber, the car mechanic, the builder, the place that sells the meat or vegetables we want to buy, the tools we use.... the people we want as friends.... where we want to live .... It's endless !! The evolution of the medical industry over the last 60 years, from a caring , fairly reasonably priced position in society , to the present massive fortress of standardized, impersonal encounters, and protocols that are demanded, not recommended .....with dire consequences to those administering and those requiring care who dare to question "this is the way we do it ! " So tyrannical that even opinions of highly intelligent experts in their fields are immediately punished for offering methods or solutions that differ from the mandated ones. Mandated ! And taking age old remedies off the shelf . Simply psychopaths. Leaving the nest at 16 , i have a long history of experience. Many successful people will agree that we learn a lot more from our mistakes than we do from successes. One thing I learnt was to judge by what i saw , not by what i was told. Many small missteps in my life saved me from making the big fall . How could the whole world , the WHOLE WORLD suddenly be dropping dead and told to follow orders that made no sense ? Stick some crap in my body ?? uh uh . Anyone who undertook to have read 1984, to see V is for Vendetta, to have cause to not trust authority, to not buy into the consumer mentality, to seek freedom over a promised pension after 30 years of service , to feel demeaned by the ongoing expansion of rules and regulations, to see firsthand that the BS passed along as progress was anything but; just fatter, less agile, more aggressive humanoids who were addicted to pharma drugs and tech devices. enough rant . haha . this is the new, updated Rumak N.I. (Natural Intelligence) Anyone with sinus congestion : put a small piece paper towel soaked in very light solution of water and ACV in your nostril . Hold one side and snort up . Repeat on other side . Will clear and prevent an infection . (i did it . it really works ! )
  20. In another thread, someone asked " who should i believe, a "scientist" or a bricklayer. i get nicer feedback when i do jokes instead of a (shortened version) of my take on "trusting the experts " . From reading, life experiences, and observing human nature I basically believe that I need to do a LOT of independent research.. and not be influenced by the "popular" assumptions made by so many , coming from their steadfast belief that their choice of source is the damn truth and others are just stupid, quacks, idiots, or whatever terms they repeat from their sources. So.... the answer to "who would i trust.... or would i believe... " to the above questions are definitely ....IT DEPENDS. It depends on my analysis for each decision, especially major ones (like health, or "science" ), and even smaller ones . I am pretty well censored and in the minority relating to my choices of avoiding MOST allopathic doctors and hospitals unless I have to . Like a broken hip ! I would surely be considered just a "bricklayer" by the majority here ( but there is a minority ) , regarding taking care of one's health. While many my age suffer from diseases and are on multiple types of pills......... I take one eye drop daily. My recent cold was the first in ten years. I stayed far away from the doctors my 2 friends went to for the usual tests and antibiotics . Over two weeks and both are still feeling very weak. I followed a protocol from a natural site and was better in 3 days. Same with Ms. Rumak . (btw: we are unvaxxed . never even a cold till now) It took some work , but seems my bricklayers course of action was the right one. here is just one article that came up when i asked google about rate of misdiagnosis : The original research article was published July 17 by BMJ Quality & Safety. Results of the new analysis of national data found that across all clinical settings, including hospital and clinic-based care, an estimated 795,000 Americans die or are permanently disabled by diagnostic error each year, confirming the pressing nature of the public health problem.  +++research and article by John Hopkins and Harvard ! https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/news/newsroom/news-releases/2023/07/report-highlights-public-health-impact-of-serious-harms-from-diagnostic-error-in-us
