  1. How old are you ,your weight ? Activities.?

If you pulse is 45bpm you must be an iron man. At least your ticker won't wear out.

    60 years old, 76Kg, 182cm.

Yesterday cycled cross country into CM on mountain bike, round trip 40Km.

Today hiked on Doi Suthep mountain, 4hrs, round trip 16.5Km.

Tomorrow will road bike up to Wat Doi Suthep, 28-60Km round trip.

    Friday .... will do nothing.

    That's a normal 4 days for me.

Somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000KCals a day of exercise.

Excellent and you should enjoy every moment of it whilst you can!

At age 60 I could that kind of thing but at a certain point, I think we hit our "sell by date".

Then things start to decline rather more rapidly!

All the things we did as youngsters start to manifest themselves as, to mention a few:

    Bad backs.

Ruined hip joints and or knees.

Broken hormones that control appetite through consumption of sugars (and booze LOL)

The ole lungs don't work so well cos of all the fags we smoked.

You meet old friends and you both immediately start a conversation about

    the state of your "conditions".

Then the body wants you to relax and stops replacing muscle like it used to.

It slaps on a bit of extra fat in case of famine.......

The battery in the memory loses power and gets to be intermittent.

Hearing and eye sight start to more fuzzy and the taste buds have gone.

Lose tolerance to alcohol and get wrecked more easily.

But Hey, thank goodness, we still have our driving licenses!

Mate, your sounding like my Dad.[/quote

LOL dad indeed. You are what you are some at 60 are fit and active some just like to do normal day to day things some like to veg in front of tv. Which ever catogorie you fit into enjoy sod the knockers (excuse the pun) if your happy then all is fine with the world. The only totaly uncontrollable fact in life is were all going to die who knows when so bloody enjoy everyday like it's your last.

  2. Now am I wrong when I read the article it seemed to me like a good move trying to stop the hold ups at immigration counters at airport. So to me it makes sense. Apply in home country before coming if you need a visa on entry. Nothing to do with not wanting people to visit in fact the exact opposite no queues good PR happy tourist.

So why not make it available on line it is 2016 after all.

Yes I agree but then the hold up comes when immigration has to get online to check and let's not forget the 90 day report online system is not fit for purpose so I would say yes but only when government websites here work for everyone.

  3. A claim of defamation is what a guilty coward does, when he cannot think of anything else to do. Usually it is the act of tiny man, who is offering a poor product or service, knows nothing about customer service, and gets called out on it. Since he has little intention of improving his product or service, and will not attempt to resolve the problem directly with his customer, he responds in a churlish, childish, petulant manner such as this. You called me names. You did not like my service. You dont like me. You said bad things about me. I am going to sue you.

In Thailand, defamation has been raised to another level, due to mass cowardice, and an unmanly approach to customer service.

Nice explanation but has sod all to do with this case as his business was closed and that seems to have sparked it

  4. 20 mins in/out in Pattaya for 90-day today.

Was more impressed at level of service than time it took.
You're lucky there...the little fella that has been stuck at the 90-day desk in Pattaya for 10 years never smiles.

Yes I remember him, no specific desk here could end up with any of desks and any of the officers. I suppose Pattaya is diffrent everytime I was there they were so busy.

  5. I think you should have posted your thread here

    http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/269250-worst-joke-ever/page-155

i have to agree i believe there may be some flexibility in the system for such situations but i fear not for you

certainly not now you have exposed yourself as a potential cheat

Jesus, I am only joking! You people take everything too seriously. I am looking for the LEAST painful method of getting a new extension for a year, I have been here since '97, and it has never been such a pain in the ass as it is now - and no doubt you do not live in Chiang Mai or you would understand what I am on about. We are treat like bloody cattle up here, so take a deep breath and thank your lucky stars you are not the performing monkey that we have to assume every year! Let me know which hospital performed your Humour Bypass Operation, I need to make sure to avoid it. Don't know how you get the idea that I am a "Potential Cheat" - I would be a 100% Cheat given the opportunity to just pay someone to take away the hassle! I also like the fact that you agree that you "Believe" there may be some flexibility - However, Believing something and the reality are not really the same thing are they?
Exellent post made me laugh I just knew it would be jumped on by the dour freternity here they could'nt see a joke if it slapped them on face and said JOKE
