It's technical, but there is a principle in the case of a previous ruling, where. if there were new evidence relating to the 1907 French map, Thailand could contest the previous Preah Vihar decision. In the current case, Thailand seems to be asserting its maps as evidence of where the border is located, so it's up to the ICJ to decide which country is in the right. I believe that Thailand could also refuse to engage in the ICJ case, without giving a reason.
If analysis shows that Thailand has a case on reviewing the 1962 ruling, it should insist that its claims be reviewed as well as the current Cambodian claims.

Thailand doesn't want to go to the ICJ because it felt humiliated in 1962, and it fears a similar outcome if Cambodia were to go to the ICJ again.
Maybe Thailand should go to the ICJ with a very good law firm this time, and hopefully the opposing party will not have a retired US foreign minister as its legal counsel. Remember that 1962 was in the Cold War era.
Also, now the 1907 map can be forensically investigated. It makes no sense that Cambodia would have one bit of territory on the top of an escarpment that delineates the dividing line between the countries.

How about IAD to BKK?
There was a BKK-JFK flight many years ago. It took 18 hours. Maybe the fuel cost was too much, but Singapore Airlines has a flight to New York.

Tod States has to be done in person and that's fair enough.
I have read more than couple of reports (not ancient) of guys doing report via mail after trip abroad and it being successful.
Personally think the "in person" is just a "short hand"
In summary I believe that the mail report will be approved however the next one after that may not be successful if done online..
In Chiang Mai I have done the TM47 by mail when returning from abroad and then done subsequent reports online successfully.

Actually the people of Gaza did not create Hamas. It arose as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood to provide social services in Gaza in the 1970s.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_support_for_Hamas See "History: Origins".
The Israeli government supported Hamas and pre-1988 social organization to counteract the secular PLO (divide & conquer strategy).

Next question: There is a health insurance requirement, or alternatively a USD 100,000 sort of guarantee. Since I'm 79 years old, is this insurance obtainable? In the alternative, if anyone has done this, please explain the procedure of transfer (to BOI?) and are there certain specified investments such a Thai government bonds?

There also is no DUE process in evicting illegal immigrants. They are not put before any judge to stop their removal. So you are only spouting Dem B.S.
The US Supreme Court has already ruled that there must be a hearing for each individual before these bizarre deportations.

From his past record. He is not someone I would want living next to me and my family. The fact that a court Judge wants him returned when there is so much proof he should be in prison. Is beyond me.. Facts coming out about the man now that perhaps this judge was not aware of was maybe the reason. But still, the man was an illegal alien. Entered the US illegally. The federal government and immigration have the right to deport him whether he was a gang member or not. No judge should have decided against this rule of immigration law.
You don't follow the news. The Supreme Court has ruled that all these deportations must be precede by a hearing where the government gives its evidence and the potential deportee can respond. While these deprtations might not be a vio;ation of the Leahy Law, the whole idea of deporting people for imprisonment without trial or sentencing in a foreign country, and the US government paying for the service, seems ripe for endless lawsuits against both El Salvador and the US.

Just a counter claim that Israel has been trying to expel Palestinians for 70 years .
\ They have been given full Israeli citizenship
While they have citizenship, they are deprived of various rights, such as getting building permits. Amnesty and Human Rights Watch have issued expensive reports on apartheid in the occupied territories and Israel itself. These people are the few who did not flee in 1948 in what we would today call ethnic cleansing.

Would this be from the same book that says the earth is roughly 5,000 years old?
Stop teaching religion to young impressionable minds and it will die out in 1 generation.
Most religions fail because in their "holy" documents they try to explain something that science/medicine of the time cannot explain and modern knowledge proves it wrong.
The Quran gets it wrong on where sperm comes from, clearly it's not the word of god, it's closer to Stephen King.
If the story of the Jews in Egypt actually happened, they could have walked over the Isthmus of Suez since the Suez Canal was not there back then. No need for miracles.

You should be thanking whichever deity you follow that Harris wasn't the winner. No matter how bad the present POTUS may be, it's nowhere near as toxic as that nattering imbecile Harris would have been.
I agree that Harris was/is a loser, but I blame Obama for having picked Biden. Have there been any "tell alls" on how Obama settled on Biden as his running mate?

Just get a sim, I suggest True. After the account is active, you can tie your Thai number to your iCloud.
SIMs are not expensive in Thailand. Also, the OP should download LINE, but maybe he would have to be in the country where his SIM is based. So get a SIM here and then download LINE. It's used by people and businesses for phoning and messaging here. Maybe WhatsApp is similar, but LINE is the choice in Thailand.

Due Process:

They are going to need people like you this spring/summer in the cherry orchards.
The Trump administration moved him to Lousiana so that any appeal of a Federal judge blocking deportation would be reviewed by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. It is the most reactionary appeals court in Amerika.

Not charged as of yet; however, Mahmoud Khalil is a pro-Hamas activist, and as such, is a serious threat to the national security of the US; if you don’t think that is a good enough reason for him to be deported, then you are part of the problem.
Supporting and enabling terrorist sympathisers and antisemites is the reason that the Democrats were flushed down the gurgler at the recent election, something it seems you have failed to grasp.
You are conflating support for Palestinians with support for Hamas, as is Rubio et al. Khalil and the protesters are victims of this strategy.
Also, mixing up antisemitism with anti-Zionism has been a strategy for around 10 years as a means of suppressing free speech of people who support self-determination for the Palestinians, but since October 2023 the campaign against free speech has been abetted by laws equating the two through the adoption of the IHRA definition of antisemitism.

Good. No reason why Americans have to tolerate no-value-added trash in our country. Maybe the Air Force will loan one of their C-17s, now being used to cart undesirables back to South America, to reunite these Hamas bums with their camels.
Another waste of taxpayers' money.

None of this really means anything, since Egypt is not prepared to take in any Palestinians, nor is Jordan or any other country for that matter, since they are universally disliked throughout the Arab world.
Trump is just making noise, throwing out garbage proposals, and kissing Bibi's butt, as usual.
Actually, if Jordan and/or Egypt cooperated in ethnic cleansing of the Gazans (or West Bankers), their populations would be incensed and the stability of their regimes threatened.
There seem to be inaccuracies in this story. The total amount for Gaza cleanup and reconstruction is set at $53bn. This includes the construction of 400,000 dwellings.
The Arab League of 22 nations unanimously adopted the Egyptian proposal. US and Israel rejected it. The plan is to seek the approval of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation), comprising 57 members.

Maybe this report from The Independent was from 2018, or it has been so much condensed that history appears to be current news. Hamdullah Mohib was ambassador to Washington 2015-2018, and Mattis was Secretary of Defense 2017-19. The report Afghanistan’s National Peace and Development Framework was presented at the Brussels concerence in 2016, and the last iteration of this report was in January 2021 for 2021-25:
https://www.fao.org/faolex/results/details/en/c/LEX-FAOC218844/
Since the Taliban now control all of Afghanistan, the threat from IS Khorasan is not a big problem. The issue is that the Taliban government is not recognized by the UN, US, etc, so big mining companies cannot be involved. Even China gave up years ago on a project to mine copper.
Here is a map of resources:
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/9/24/mapping-afghanistans-untapped-natural-resources-interactive (2021)
There is a railroad in Uzbekistan reaching the Afghan border, and from Pakistan the railway map shows a proposed line from the border to Kandahar in Afghanistan. So perhaps an extension to the rare earth deposits in Helmand might be possible, or processing could be done in the country.

If you want something serious, why not build the basic structure and floor of wood, then use bamboo for the walls. If you want to be comfortable and neighbors are not close, you could design an alternative to exterior walls, such as vertical bamboo slats or louvers. Bamboo must be properly prepared and treated, not green.
