    Most people wearing hijab that I see on the Metro in Paris seem to be locals, not some recently arrived Muslims. Over about the past two decades it has become more common to see women wearing hijab. It's probably a trend toward conservatism.

    It's true that after the Revolution religion, basically Catholicism, was relegated (hopefully) to obscurity. Church property was confiscated. There was even a new calendar. What goes on today has nothing to do with that kind of secularism. Now it is for political reasons to grab votes from Marine Le Pen's followers.

    Regarding point #1, the defendant will try to have the case moved to Federal court. The main advantage will be a less Black jury pool, since the case will still be tried under Georgia law and any pardon application would have to go through the Georgia pardons board.

    I can say that magnesium really helps, but the magnesium pills on sale here are not effective since they contain the cheapest forms of magnesium, which are barely absorbed from the digestive tract. So I have to get pills available through Lazada, etc, originating from the US.

    In the case of employment, the problem in France is that through the name of an applicant employers systematically discriminate against citizens of North African origin, but because of legal blindness this discrimination cannot be addressed. This blindness finds its origin in the laïcité concept.

    You don't understand the mentality of Chinese bosses, evidently, the vicious circle of power and wealth. That's not to say that overseas Chinese such as Chinese Thais are incapable of assimilation and reform.

    Putting Thaksin and Pita in the same basket because of their Chinese heritage doesn't make sense. It's different generations, and bear in mind Pita's US education. Think of their mentalities differing in this way: Thaksin = rule BY law; Pita = rule OF law.

    There are some people who exemplify their Chineseness with the control obsession, Xi Jin Ping being the exemplar. Thaksin at the end of his time in power was displaying this unfortunate tendency.
