    I have used Jotun products for 40 years. Most exterior walls have not been repainted in all that time. For flat roof slabs they have 2-part epoxy paint, very durable in preventing leaks.

    Most people wearing hijab that I see on the Metro in Paris seem to be locals, not some recently arrived Muslims. Over about the past two decades it has become more common to see women wearing hijab. It's probably a trend toward conservatism.

    It's true that after the Revolution religion, basically Catholicism, was relegated (hopefully) to obscurity. Church property was confiscated. There was even a new calendar. What goes on today has nothing to do with that kind of secularism. Now it is for political reasons to grab votes from Marine Le Pen's followers.
