    If he had paid only 100 for a 400 fare it would be the driver going after him for more money. Seems like the driver was pretty happy with what he was paid, but the customer thought he was owed change. Seems like a clear cut case of another scumbag Phuket driver keeping the customer's change; like that hasn't happened before, lol

    I think there's only one definition of scam. Lol Makes a pittance? It's very common for them to keep the change off a 500, claiming you gave only 100. 500 a ride ain't a pittance. Yes. A scam is a scam. Blatant theft in most cases.

    You can pay class 2 or class 3 national insurance while working abroad, like I am now. It's more expensive than class 1 (working in UK), but still. They also just allowed me to backpay 14 years of missed contributions since I left the UK.
