You can read it up in the Bible already

"Lord, forgive them for they don't know what they are doing"

The shot which killed the Cambodian soldier came from a Thai weapon. Question is, how this this (as well as most likely all other weapons) get fired in the first place. Somchai the soldier would not dare to do anything without explicit order from higher up at the border. That higher up gets the orders from bigger wig in the province's capital. Latter consults with the army headquarters. In short, shooting is instructed/ordered and you have to dig around there first.

For me this is a repetition of the smoke screen the government pulled up in 2008, slightly to the West in Khao Phra Viharn (Sisaket province) compared to this year's incident.

Just be careful, you're playing with fire. Diplomatically the ice is pretty thin as both countries have BIG faces to lose and you might stir the racist pot on both sides of the border which would be the perfect start of a war.

    Just saying ........

In the modern world there is a cure for losing face,

Thailand will never learn allowing  undesirables into The Kingdom

Do you mean singling people out by their ethnicity and nothing else and blocking their entry? Fortunately Thailand is generally and officially averse to such bigotry and prejudice. Most "undesirables" can be prosecuted since they eventually get caught, as in this case. Better to let a few lawbreakers in for the sake of preserving the vast majority of innocent people's rights. This is the fundamental principle of law and democracy, yes, even in your country. So, to paraphrase, Thailand will never learn ethnic hate and bigotry, and thank god for that.

  3. I have sued Booking Holdings, the parent company, at least a half dozen times, with one pending as we speak. Fortunate for me they are in the same state as my US address. I sued them for a Priceline (their subsidiary) over an airline refund, and they had to pay me $1,000.00 to settle. Look for any office they may have in your country and you may be able to do the same. I don't take any sh߆ from any of these people.

  4. Keep in mind that those who got the shots but now choose not to are exposing the rest of us to increased risk because of their recklessness. Each person who gets infected becomes a factory to create new strains , to which we all are vulnerable, necessitating new versions of the vaccine, which they will again refuse. If people did the right thing there would be less of these new outbreaks. Fortunately, this problem seems limited to ignorant westerners rather than Thai people, who fortunately have enough of a sense of duty and cooperation to make up for those relatively few pigheaded individuals. You certainly have the right to choose to die and how, but you do not have the moral right to endanger others. Of course, having said that, nobody who is refusing the vaccine actually cares about the consequences to others, and so - duh.

    Plenty of hotels in town.

    1. remove credit card from wallet, check into hotel

    2. go to ATM, withdraw cash, check into hotel

    3. scan QR code at hotel reception

How do you know he has a credit card, phone, or even a bank account? How do you know the wife didn't keep the aforementioned or drain his account before kicking him out? Common sense suggests that if he had them he would have used them. Duh. Instructions: Make sure you have your facts straight before making judgmental comments.

Yes the C130 does have reverse thrust and can even taxi backwards. But the pilot would not choose this option when he had no brakes. He would likely end up going backwards out of control! Not good.

His best option would have been to kill the engines and let matters unfold as they will, which is probably what he did.

It's not the same literal reverse thrust as in a jet engine's thrust reversers, the thrust itself of the turboprop isn't reversed, only the prop pitch.

Propellers have "reverse thrust"??? The pitch can only be adjusted but don't think as in a jet engine they can produce reverse thrust...
