What’s with the trolling. I’m just asking a genuine question. If you don’t like the question just scroll pass and ignore if you’re going to troll. What’s wrong with asking a simple question. Why would I get paid for this post. What have got to gain from this question. I’m a genuine traveller from the uk and been to Thailand a few times and yet this is my first experience with a Thai girl.
This is how guys end up getting their lives destroyed. This is how it starts. Always the same playbook. Good that you sense this is a red flag. Nothing wrong with dating a bar girl, but always remember that that's what she is, and what she always will be. If she keeps asking for money keep saying no. See how long she sticks around. Of all the Thai girls that ever asked me for money, and none were bar girls, they're all gone, except for one whom I've known for 11 years, and I know for a fact that her sister was recently in a terrible bike accident with compound fractures and needing steel pins, she sent me the photos, copies of the hospital bills etc. She had never asked me for money, just this one time, and I helped.

Why?
Because of the massive "chain saw" style firings, encouraged resignations, loss of normal transition training mechanisms, and loss of institutional knowledge held by long term staff.
Be clear -- he is not predicting PERMANENT CUT OFF of benefits. So no fear mongering here.
He's WARNING that a delay could happen because of the chaos that has indeed been caused.
IF this interruption happens it would be the first time in social security history.
Why am I posting this here?
Because I know many American retirees use the income method, importing 65K baht of more monthly to meet their annual retirement extension financial requirements.
So what happens if the payment is delayed for just one month (it could be much longer) so that your next payment is double covering the missed month?
Will Thai immigration accept that? My understanding is that they require monthly remits and missed months even just one are not allowed.
On top of the immigration issue of course the former head is warning people to save up their money to weather a delay.
Hopefully not too many expats are living that close to the bone, but clearly some are.
The news story.

Social Security payments could suffer interruption soon as DOGE causes ‘system collapse,’ former commissioner warns—‘start saving now’

If they do this they might as well guarantee they'll lose the house to the senate. Even talking about it will lose the people now depending on SS. Ship of fools. And then immigration will question why there was a gap in your income when it's time tho extend stay.

Hard to say if he himself is a pedophile or if he was just marketing to make money. The marketing is much more evil in my opinion because a pedophile cannot help his compulsions, it's like they're hard wired to do it. The marketing is by choice. I imagine that he'll get a near life sentence in Thailand, I don't know what Germany does. If he committed his crimes while in Thailand then it would be up to Thailand courts. If he goes to jail here I imagine the inmates will serve up their own justice.

These people cannot suppress their compulsion. Punishment to fit the crime, yes, but also an ankle monitor for life if they ever get out.

Sascha is a short name for Alexander. Although often assumed to be solely slavic in origin it is common in Germanic cultures. Sascha is a name found in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It isn't a top popular name, but it is not a rarity.
But, but, I thought all the commenters here were educated geniuses, whose opinions are worth their weight in gold?

Big police crackdown nationally to "maintain order". Smoking cigs, smoking dope and all vaping shops temporarily closed yet the high daily death rate on the roads remains and people still riding without helmets. This stinks of Thaksin.
Well yeah, but there is likely less stink from all of the inconsiderate selfish pigs smoking cigarettes with no regard whatsoever around people who like and deserve to breathe clean air, especially in restaurants or other large crowds. Smokers, you can do as you will, but letting it blow into others' faces without a care in the world is disgusting. It's the same with marijuana, although it doesn't stink like cigarettes. I'm going to get a can of ƒɑrt spray and cut loose from now on every time it happens. No such thing as a no ƒɑrting area. Nothing illegal about that. If you're addicted to nicotine Switch to vapes. Vapes don't stink. No excuses. A ƒɑrt spray storm is about to blow in.

Victim blaming/shaming much? I'll tell you who deserves what. Anyone can make a mistake and make quick careless decisions that are not thoroughly thought out. You've never made a careless mistake in your life? Hindsight is 20/20. He was in a car park and probably overestimated the amount of security there. Most decent people don't expect thieves to target them because, unlike you, they think like decent people. Nobody deserves to be an innocent victim of a crime. You sound like the kind of person who would say that a rape victim had it coming because she might have been wearing sexy clothing. So, since your comment displays a lack of the most basic humanity I'd say you should go back where you came from, as you certainly don't belong in Thailand. I'll help you pack.

These people, not just Indians but a lot of Thais, are dirtbɑgs with no conscience. I see Thai people walking around with Lemurs charging 100 baht to let you pet and photograph them. You can see protected animals for sale at pet markets anywhere. Buddhist monks have been involved in illegal tiger breeding and trade for the last few decades at least.

I speculate of course, but someone got paid to do this, or Thailand is afraid of China for any number of reasons. China may have threatened Thailand with economic sanctions or some similar economic blackmail. Or the Chinese government may have personally threatened individuals and families. They have spies running all around the US for example, and have kidnapped people there. Pretty disgusting.

OK caveman, the world is not a Popeye cartoon, if he has permanent brain damage or dies of a skull fracture does he "deserve" that? Death penalty just for being an ɑsshoIe? In other countries he would be charged with 2nd degree murder. Bouncers are supposed to be able to handle such things without resorting to extreme violence. That's what tasers and pepper spray are for. That's why you have more than one bouncer. That's what 191 on your phone and the police are for.

Just get George Bush over with a few pounds of thermite. It will be down in 10 seconds in it's own footprint.
Do you know what thermite is? It’s not an explosive. A few pounds would do little more than make a hole. It is not used in demolition. Read up:
“Thermite reactions have many uses. It is not an explosive; instead, it operates by exposing a very small area to extremely high temperatures. Intense heat focused on a small spot can be used to cut through metal or weld metal components together both by melting metal from the components, and by injecting molten metal from the thermite reaction itself. [citation needed]
Thermite may be used for repair by the welding in-place of thick steel sections such as locomotive axle-frames where the repair can take place without removing the part from its installed location.
Thermite can be used for quickly cutting or welding steel such as rail tracks, without requiring complex or heavy equipment.”

Funny thing, I’ve traveled all over Thailand the past 11 years, including Pattaya - Walking St, Beach Rd, Soi Buakao - and every other fun, interesting place north to south, and managed to never get robbed, beaten, stabbed, or arrested, It wasn’t hard, and amazingly I still happily enjoy life here without fear. I meet nothing but pleasant happy people and share laughs and stories. But then again, I’m not covered with billboard tattoos and targets on my back that signal “I’m an ldiot and deserve to be smacked around, sliced, and diced” , I don’t go roaming around at 4:AM looking for trouble, and I (**GASP**) don’t get drunk. It would seem either we’re not talking about the same Thailand, or you know nothing about the place beyond your 4 walls, tabloid news stories, and a lurid imagination.

Has stupidity now been declared a mental illness? I suppose it depends on the cause - like being punched in the head to the point of brain damage

Just training the obvious visible muscles + tattoos to the max seems to be a big ego compensator nowadays. When you then talk to them it is like you talk to either a teenager, idiot or both. Guess it's as populair as 'everyone is a business owner' and 'trader' nowadays.
The fact this guy had no t-shirt on while walking there at around 10:30PM already indicates enough. Then add the subjective judgement based on the shoes, shorts and tats and the picture is quite complete.
Don’t forget that every young underachiever is also an “influencer” and “digital creator”

Yes. But maybe this is just a premature press release for public consumption so as to appear like something practical is being done. Maybe they’re working at other measures that MIGHT work. Maybe they just don’t have the problem solving skills. Putting myself in their shoes (yikes!) I would find this task daunting. They may yet come up with something useful, but always at a cost to law abiding folks

Is it better to do good in this world....or not?

Exactly. Vegetarians have this imaginary moral high ground that they preach from, but they have no standing to do so. Cattle and every other meat animal are by and large treated horribly, yes indeed and that sucks. So how do the "veggies" feel about meat from humanely treated animals who volunteer to be euthanized after long productive lives? Just kidding, but there are farms who do in fact purposefully treat the animals well, but that meat is expensive, and most regular working people can't afford it. The problem with people is, our bodies (and some minds) are still at cave man level of evolution, while society propels us light years ahead faster than we can reasonably adapt. So lets go all the way. How do they know that vegetables don't feel pain? I swear I hear screaming every time I mow the lawn.
