Bangkok Building Collapse Sets Unwanted World Records
Ebumbu replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Did the Thai building house any Enron, SEC, DoD, IRS, and CIA records like Building 7 did? If so, it was thermite! -
It always confuses me why a man would throw away his freedom for a grope when you have endless happy massages or full-service bars in tourist areas. Room is right upstairs. Spend 1500 baht, get your business done, and avoid prison.

ChatGPT Update Raises Red Flags Over Fake Bank Slips
Ebumbu replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Alarmist. Let's take a simple use case: 1) Random farang (RF) deposits 20,000 baht into his SCB account. 2) Using AI, RF creates a fake deposit slip showing 200,000. 3) RF takes the forged slip into their local SCB, where they will be arrested within 1 hour. Probably 30 minutes. Does anyone think SCB is going to credit their account with the non-deposit? There are bank-grade verification systems, of course. 4) If there is some dispute regarding my own account number being misused, SCB (or other Thai banks) will certainly contact me before crediting RF with my money. Any substantial error will get the bank manager's attention, and they will contact the central branch, who will call the cops. -
Thailand Cracks Down on Vapes with Severe Penalties and Public Reporting
Ebumbu replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Serious question: Is a dry herb "heater" (cannabis vape) considered a vaporizer? Chat GPT said no. If I took a "dry herb heater" on a plane, or it was found in my car, am I screwed? It's clearly not an electronic cigarette. -

"Despite Trump’s order, intelligence agencies are still reportedly pushing for redactions in the final batch of secret files, causing friction with the White House. A Trump administration official expressed frustration, telling Axios, “This is total deep state bull<deleted>.” Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Any Jewish people in Thailand noticing local hostilities?
Ebumbu replied to wasabi's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Nobody I've met in Thailand can guess my ethnicity by my appearance. And, 90% don't know what a Jew is. They know King Kong though. I have seen N*zi symbols (not Buddhist symbols) worn with ignorance. I ask if they know what it means. The answer is no. I believe them. It's close to the counter-clockwise symbols they've seen. I give them the benefit of the doubt. No, has never remotely been an issue. On the other hand, I have no hook nose, nor do I have horns, nor do I have a hunchback. Maybe that helps. Many Americans males get chopped, or they did in my era, so that also doesn't give me away. And, the massage workers really don't care. Absolutely no one guesses America when they look at me. I hear Switzerland and Australia. -
I'm currently planning to send her to Chula on an emergency basis in an ambulance. Her local hospital sent her home with some antibiotics, an inhaler, and metformin. That's it. She can't breathe, is bleeding uncontrollably, and her diabetes is severe and uncontrolled. Her local gov hospital failed her. So, I'm going to send her to Chula in an ambulance so they take it seriously. She's coughing up green and the cough sounds terrible and is frequent. So, the situation has declined and I'm waiting for her to wake up. Thanks for everyone's guidance.

Hi. I don't know the name of her local hospital. I'll ask. There is also obesity as part of the picture. I know that fat can disrupt hormones. I'm learning as much as I can as quickly as I can to help here. Here's what Chat GPT had to say. I'm not questioning you and thanks for weighing in. All issues must be checked thoroughly by endocrinologist. -- Yes, diabetes can contribute to uncontrolled, non-stop menstrual bleeding, though it’s usually an indirect effectrather than a direct cause. The main reasons diabetes can lead to excessive or irregular menstrual bleeding include: 1. Insulin Resistance & Hormonal Imbalance Diabetes (especially Type 2) is linked to insulin resistance, which disrupts normal hormone levels. Excess insulin can lead to high estrogen levels, which thickens the uterine lining (endometrial hyperplasia)and increases the risk of heavy or prolonged bleeding. 2. PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) Many people with diabetes also have PCOS, a condition where irregular ovulation and high androgens can cause prolonged or heavy periods. PCOS is strongly linked to insulin resistance and unpredictable menstrual cycles. 3. Poor Blood Sugar Control & Blood Vessel Fragility High blood sugar damages blood vessels and can make the uterine lining more prone to prolonged bleeding. Diabetes can impair platelet function, reducing the body’s ability to stop bleeding. 4. Increased Risk of Endometrial Hyperplasia & Cancer Unopposed estrogen (not balanced by progesterone) causes excessive uterine lining growth. Over time, this can lead to persistent heavy periods and an increased risk of endometrial cancer, which can present as prolonged or irregular bleeding. 5. Other Factors (Obesity, Medications, Stress) Obesity, common in Type 2 diabetes, increases estrogen production from fat tissue, worsening bleeding issues. Metformin & other diabetes meds can sometimes affect cycles, though they usually help regulate them. Chronic stress and inflammation from diabetes may also disrupt hormone balance.

A pity they don't talk about exercise and diet. However, great referral. Harvard Medical School stands out in her CV.
-
I know. But it will need meds (not the regimen from 30 years ago), right diet, and right exercise regimen. Need all of that when referring her to hospital and specialists. I'm skeptical that all this will happen at a free public hospital. Thanks.
