You know this is not true. The right are doing plenty of blaming and scapegoating.

No they are not. You are being told that by the left wing media - but it aint true.

Go watch right wing media for a while - twitter - facebook - blogs - they aint blaming the Dems for the deaths.

What criticism there is of the Dems is way less than the 24/7 criticism of Trump on most MSM and by Dems.

Just look at this post mate - deaths go up - blame Trump.

Anything bad happens - blame Trump.

The "record increase" in the USA, to which this article refers, is partially the result of  CDC "guidance" for docs to put 'covid-19' on death certificates, even when no test has been done to determine if the person had the virus, and, when they were shown to have it, even if their actual cause of death was Stage IV cancer (and similar).  The other cause, is taking weeks-old or months-old "re-classified as covid" deaths, and adding them to CURRENT totals, as if they had just died.

This is just another act of those who would do and say things to gain a political advantage (Dems/Media) using their influence and control to make Trump/GOP look bad.

If anyone can find an anti-Trump media outlet (you know the list) who questions the increase as just a 'statistical adjustment' and it is not a real increase in deaths, then please post it here.

There is no basement for how low the right will go to try and deflect blame.
how about a government that says “we made a lot of mistakes but it was a difficult and unprecedented problem (look, many European countries made similar mistakes) and we are trying to improve, let’s work together to overcome this”

Wrong. The right are not blaming the Dems or Media - they are refuting the rubbish claims that Trump has killed thousands of people and all the deaths are his fault.

Agree - that would be nice - which one first? China?

The batteries themselves are highly recyclable, which is great. Even if not recycled they can find a second life in non-mobile applications such as solar walls.

If a practical Fortuner sized vehicle with a sensible range say 300km or so for slightly more than a current top-end Fortuner came along I would be in the line.

The problem is that there will be nothing like that for a long time - unless the Govts stop wasting tax money on 'green energy' and start making a real difference - get the main air polluters off the roads. Tax incentives for making, selling, buying electric cars. Govt sponsorships for building man sites and distribution etc. Free registration. Reduced insurance. Building re-charge facilities everywhere and making it free. etc etc etc.

    Joke ????

    Fair enough.

Or dirt in their pockets ????

But we severely punish cheaters who are caught. Aust is like NZ at Rugby - it aint a life or death thing - it is far more serious than that - and getting caught cheating is a mortal sin.

Meanwhile, in other news, Chicken Little says the sky is falling in.

Dont screw around with rabies mate. Unlike Covid - Rabies is very much a death sentence to anyone not vaccinated (and even to some who are).

You cannot get a rabies vaccination as a prevention.

You are getting rabies shots after you are bitten (day 1, 3, 7, 14, 28). And it acts as a treatment only for this particular bite. Some internet sources claim, that after these shots you have 6 months immunity. But while I was getting these shots I asked my doctor (in Thailand) what happens if I get bitten again, like next week or next month. And he told me, that we will start all the shots from the start. But this time not all 5 shots, but only 3.

In Thailand I already went through the process 3 times. On top of that they are also giving you a tetanus shots after each bite. The whole course (5 anti-rabies shots + tetanus) costs 3 000 - 5 000 Baht (in public hospital).

So you can't get vaccinated in advance. Only after you are bitten.

You are sort of correct. But you can get a rabies 'vaccine' - it is just not a total cure. You still have to get a rabies shot again if you are bitten (saliva in face/mouth/wound).  What the rabies vaccine does is prevent severe reaction when/if bitten.  I went the full course years ago in Australia - but I was also warned that if I do get bitten, that I must still get the rabies shot.

I know steve, or ysed to know him but havent seen him in many many years. Very nice guy. When in europe training for the olympics he fell and another skater ran over his leg severing an artery. Nearly killed him. So a remarkable recovery just to get himself into a pisition to win.

He also broke his neck in another incident.

Luck is when practice meets opportunity.

I heard he had recovered from a serious leg injury to make the Olympics again - didnt know about the broken neck. Indeed - both luck and success.  I got to know a few cricketers in Australia - they all had some issues to overcome - nobody makes it to the top international level without some problems.

But what Steve did was remarkable - and he even has an Aussie slang now: 'Doing a Bradbury'.

  9. If you live in or visit rural (non-Bangkok) Thailand, then get a rabies vaccination - and avoid all mammals.  Some people, like me, come from countries where there is no rabies, and we dont realise the danger that animals can pose.  As the story said, some dogs had rabies but were showing no symptoms - carriers.

The following animals can get/transmit rabies and are in Thailand:  Bats, Cats, Cattle, Dogs, Horses, Monkeys, Rabbits.

Most cases are from dogs, but some deaths are also caused by rabies from other sources. In Australia 3 people have been infected by a rabies strain from bats (all died). I am beginning to hate bats.

"Any bites by such wild animals must be considered a possible exposure to the rabies virus"

Very well said sir,the lefties will be spitting nails.

I just heard a rumour going round the White House that will make them spit bricks next - it is of course as credible as any CNN anti-Trump story.   Trump has said to someone that after he is re-elected on his last day on office, before the new POTUS is sworn in, he is going to put on a dress and makeup and 'identify' as a woman.  He will then not only be the best POTUS since Reagan, he will also be the first woman POTUS.  Brilliant !!

Apparently he was asked what if the next POTUS is a woman. The un-named source said he replied: 'if it is a GOP woman then I will refrain, and I will think of something else' to leave them screaming'.  Apparently he then said: 'the day I started they were screaming - and I am going to make them scream again on my last'.

Now I do have something in common with a liberal Trump hater - we are both looking forward to his last day in office ????

Agree, you can see that on this Forum too.

The ones who are in favour of never-ending lock downs don't care about all the millions who can't make a living, but they are obviously wrong.

When many millions of people will get really hungry and desperate, nobody will be safe anymore

I responded as such to some bloke living in his village who was ignoring reality - if they need food and are starving his house will become a target for sure. Probably not for the people in his village, but definitely for others who are desperate/starving. His response was more 'correct' rubbish about compliance - just ignorant of real life I guess - like so many others.

How can he be the lesser athlete if he made it to the finals won the gold medal?Doesn't make sense. If you haven't read his book I can recommend it,it's a great read.Sure he had some luck that day but he wasn't a lesser athlete.I think anyone who got into that race deserved to win.

I have only read parts as shown elsewhere - but please dont think I was degrading his achievement.  Never before had an Aussie even made a final for a singles event. But he was the best skater in the Aussie bronze medal team before.  What he did in the heats to make the final (watched them of course) was outstanding.  But to think he was one of the better skaters in the final is  wrong.  His best chance was a bronze medal, if things worked out OK for him, and he played it smart, hoping they would.  He knew they were very aggressive and that his best bet was to have some energy left for a charge up the inside at the end, if things panned out - and didnt they pan out ????
