Gourmet Market if you’re in Bangkok. Chinese Broccoli is ฿110/kg, Thai Organic Broccoli is ฿150/kg

You do realise that healthcare is privatised in the US, don't you?
The only health-related funding in the infrastructure plan is for primary care, maternal, behavioral and racial health equity, and pandemic preparedness initiatives.
So whether they pass it or not, it will make no difference to ICU facilities.
Healthcare isn’t completely privatized from what I can see. It appears that 1172 out of 6090 are either state or federal government hospitals. Maybe there should be more. It’s sad that the US doesn’t allocate more money towards healthcare.

The government sure does seem to do a good job of minting pharmaceutical company billionaires via Covid vaccine profits however.

You must be Thai because most of my fellow Americans would understand what they mean when the article says only 27 ICU beds are available in houston so I will explain. Houston may have 3,000 ICU beds in their hospitals but if there are 2,973 paitients with Covid or serious injuries in them they only have 27 ICU beds available! Is that too hard for you to understand? Few persons that have been vacinated for Covid vaccines have a serious enough infection to require ICU mostly those who are elderly with multible underlying conditions.
Ok. I can concede that point and research shows that you are correct. But being that the article was from the same time that the person died, there were most likely open beds in Texas. Why on earth would they be calling neighboring states.
Currently, it appears that it isn’t a problem and only 14% of ICU beds at the current time are being occupied by Covid 19 patients. Lots of available beds and the capacity to build more as the statistics show.

You just can’t seem to stop can you? It’s like a full time job for you here with almost 8000 posts in just over a year. I can understand that you don’t have time to thoroughly research all the misinformation you post.
That being said, there are only 27 ICU beds in the greater Houston area for a population of over 6 million people. That sounds more like an infrastructure problem rather than an issue about vaccinated vs unvaccinated. Perhaps the democrats in congress shouldn’t be holding the infrastructure bill hostage. They are literally killing people. So sad.

The doctors and nurses, Puget said, "called all the hospitals in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Colorado and couldn’t get him a bed."
"Every minute that he was refused an ICU bed he was dying. The doctors said that his organs were already starting to shut down," Puget said.
https://www.foxnews.com/us/houston-afghanistan-veteran-dies-treatable-illness-wait-icu-bed
And definitely an excellent idea to have unvaccinated staff in hospitals that have ill and immunocompromised people currently not afflicted with covid.
The lies of hospital ICUs being overwhelmed have already been debunked with one Oklahoma hospital issuing a statement calling out a doctor who lied about it.
Although Dr. Jason McElyea is not an employee of NHS Sequoyah, he is affiliated with a medical staffing group that provides coverage for our emergency room. With that said, Dr. McElyea has not worked at our Sallisaw location in over 2 months. NHS Sequoyah has not treated any patients due to complications related to taking ivermectin. This includes not treating any patients for ivermectin overdose. All patients who have visited our emergency room have received medical attention as appropriate. Our hospital has not had to turn away any patients seeking emergency care. We want to reassure our community that our staff is working hard to provide quality healthcare to all patients. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify this issue and as always, we value our community’s support.

Do your research before posting misinformation.
The guy lived in a town of 4,000 people and the local medical center has 10 beds and isn’t even equipped with an ICU.
Also, from your linked article…
"A lot of the ICU shortage is not [about] the short of beds. It’s the shortage of personnel to man those beds,"
Perhaps they should stop firing health care workers who refuse to get vaccinated.

Most gold shops don't want to know unless it's Thai gold or they are offering ridiculous 25% below current rates.

Try to find a manual Z4 E89 3l.. Hell would even take an E85 if manual..
For a toy currently building an E30 coupe fake M3.. Scoping around for a good engine package..I’m not sure there is a manual Z4 (or Z3) in all of Thailand. Never seen one for sale. Not sure why so many cars here are all automatic and the few that I have ever seen for sale with a manual are usually über expensive specialty models (Cayman GT4, Boxster Spyder, GT3, 993TT, Audi TTRS, Lotus)
Here’s a guy who upgraded an E36 318is to M3 specs. Wonder how reliable it would be.

Not sure there are any newer cars in that price range that are fun cars.
10(ish) year old Mazda MX5, VW GTI/Golf R or spend a little more for a Lotus Elise (probably not a good/comfortable daily driver though).

Which 'get rid of it' solution of the 100's touted worked for you ? Tried a couple, none worked, as I suspected. Haven't seen on 'permanent' solution written about in a medical journal.
There was a study done in Brazil that I read about back in 2017. I tried it myself and although it didn’t cure it, it definitely lessened it. There is a new/follow up study ongoing in the US currently.

1,400 baht for a 1,500 g 19"x29" goose feather pillow looks interesting.

Many years ago I got caught out buying a goose feather pillow for what appeared to be a good deal. The feathers were so large that the quills would poke me in the head and when I rolled side to side I could feel them “crunch” inside. Nothing like goose down…not even close. One night and in the trash they went. That’s why on shopee, the goose down pillows run between ฿6000 to over ฿20,000 (and some are a 90/10 mixture and not even 100% down)

It’s not the job, it’s the woman.
I’ve known uneducated massage girls that are low maintenance and women with masters degrees and high(ish) paying jobs (and commensurate debt levels) that seem to only be happy with 5 star restaurants and resorts, ฿2,000 baht spa/hair treatments etc. etc.

This site says (about) 30 days. I just did mine today 17 days in advance at CW. Was in and out in about an hour. Every other time was close to 6 hours.

Would very much appreciate info; I have Mexican 50 peso gold coins here in Thailand, I think purity is marked 900/1000. I don't think there is a premium for coins so I would sell for best price close to spot of gold content. Any suggestions and especially specific names of places in Bangkok or phuket where I can sell is appreciated.
You won’t get close to spot if it’s not Thai gold at any smaller shop. I tried selling a couple pieces of 999 bullion (Valcambi bar and British Sovereign) and out of half a dozen different shops, only one would make an offer which was 20% below spot and they didn’t want the coin….only the Valcambi bar in sealed assay which they insisted on breaking open in order to test it.
The only place I could find that would buy non Thai gold (now I see there is another that a different poster listed above) was Huasengheng which had a minimum of 1kg…nothing less. It appears that the other shop listed above only deals in 1kg 999 bars also. Best of luck to you. If you find somewhere (in Bangkok) that buys smaller quantities close to spot, please come back and let us know.

Sell it at home and rebuy Thai gold here. Most shops, with the exception of Huasengheng, which has a 1kg minimum, will either flat out not buy non-Thai gold or will offer you 20% under spot price. That has been my experience.

If you don’t agree with Ken Burns about the historical significance of this era in American history and that it is indeed akin to a civil war you're certainly entitled to that opinion but the PREMISE of this topic is really targeted to the people that DO see it that way.
It would behoove those people to turn off their TV, stop reading the news, and just get outside and go for a walk in nature. Maybe find a nice Mexican restaurant. Focus on the simple things in life that make you happy instead of all the infighting back home.
