It certainly does, which is why employees in constant contact with the public were given the choice - work vaccinated, or don't work unvaccinated.

I keep my distance and don't breathe on anybody, you're safe from my imaginary shedding.

Most employees are superfluous, useless eaters.  And they complain too much.

    They needed to be culled.

    Enter….clot shots.

My sister told me I should be denied any medical care since I’m one of the filthy, abhorrent unvaccinated.

Unbelievable what these all these brownshirts condoned.

  4. It’s a good thing that California has the FAIR plan for fire insurance. 😅

Roach gave rare insight into the dire finances of the FAIR Plan, which does not routinely make financial information public unlike counterparts in other states. The FAIR Plan has a $200 million surplus and $2.5 billion in reinsurance, which is a type of insurance for insurers, to pay claims after a catastrophic wildfire.

But Roach warned the program could face $6 billion in claims if the state experienced a wildfire as damaging as the 2018 Camp Fire, which destroyed 18,000 buildings and killed 85 people. When the FAIR Plan drained its reserves, it would have to impose assessments, potentially of up to $3.3 billion.

We’re like one bad fire away from complete insolvency,” Assemblymember Jim Wood, a Democrat from northern California, said to Roach. “If this were on Wall Street, I’m not sure you could get away with this.”

California becomes first state to offer health insurance to all undocumented immigrants

“In 2015, undocumented children were able to join Medi-Cal under a bill signed by then-Gov. Jerry Brown. In 2019, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law an expansion of full-scope Medi-Cal access for young adults ages 19 through 25, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. Access was then further expanded to allow older adults aged 50 and olderto receive full benefits, also regardless of immigration status.

Unfortunately, California has to care for a lot of homeless and mentally ill people who are from out of state.  These people flock to California because services are not available in their home states.

    Hilarious.

I’m guessing you haven’t been to California and seen the homeless.

And to say that they are flocking to California for social services is absolutely ridiculous….no….it’s just plain dishonest.

Eventually, all the owners of those ultra expensive homes in Pacific Palisades are going to need to get a rebuild permit from the California Coastal Commission. Watch their eruption when one after another they're denied.

The damage estimates from all the fires in the region seem to be quite low.

Last update (a couple hours ago) is that the two largest fires (Palisades/Eaton) are still 0% contained.

The satellite image of the Eaton fire is horrific.

So logically, going forward, you will refrain from saying that being an epidemiologist is a legitimacy criterion in your eyes, as it is not.

The criterion is being an epidemiologist who says what you want to hear.

    Exactly.

More than a few times, I have googled the “MD” that he puts forth in some BS pro vaccine article, only to find a complete embarrassment of a doctor with a degree from some Cracker Jack Caribbean island medical school of last resort or another comparable institution.

    And they’re usually fat too.

    Never trust a fat doctor.

Hulscher is another discredited COVID anti-vax quack with a history of spreading documented COVID misinformation, who now appears to be working for a foundation headed by another prolific anti-vax misinfo peddler, Peter McCullough, as shown below.

    Example #1 re Hulscher:

    Screenshot_5.jpg.e264f1879f298432cb044f3a1d425e62.jpg

    ...

An article published by the website The Blaze in late January 2024 claimed that a study published in the journal Therapeutic Advances in Drug Safety showed the risk of COVID-19 vaccination outweighed its benefits.

    ...

The study in Therapeutic Advances in Drug Safety was authored by computational biologist Jessica Rose, masters student Nicolas Hulscher, and cardiologist Peter McCullough.

Both Rose and McCullough have previously spread vaccine misinformation. Hulscher, according to his LinkedIn profile, is a masters student in epidemiology at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Notably, Hulscher and McCullough co-authored a preprint that claimed 76% of deaths in vaccinated people were due to COVID-19 vaccines. Health Feedback covered the preprint’s questionable methods and conclusions here. [emphasis added]

    https://healthfeedback.org/claimreview/claim-myocarditis-covid-vaccines-carries-serious-risk-death-flawed-study/

Hulscher's current LinkedIn profile says he's working now, not surprisingly, for a foundation founded by McCullough:

    Example #2 re Hulscher:

Hulscher, McCullough and several others in their anti-vax misinfo peddling clan also collaborated on a bogus research paper claiming they did a review of published research reports on sudden death autopsies and found many of them were caused by COVID vaccines. Unfortunately for the authors, those determinations that THEY made contradicted what many of the actual studies they reviewed found, which was for the most part that COVID vaccines were NOT to blame.

That and other problems with their paper led to the journal where it was published ultimately withdrawing the paper, as shown below:

    Screenshot_8.jpg.76f268631bbddf3604741e2e43f72326.jpg

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0379073824001968?via%3Dihub

The following fact check report details the travails of Hulscher and McCullough's bogus journal article, including the following:

    Screenshot_10.thumb.jpg.299eb8116a9c0ca30e311589d2a7a816.jpg

"As others have pointed out before, there’s reason to suspect that the authors may have been biased in their determinations. All three adjudicators, including Dr. Peter McCullough, are well known for spreading COVID-19 misinformation. Dr. William Makis, a Canadian radiologist, has previously claimed, without evidence, that 80 Canadian doctors died from COVID-19 vaccines. The only pathologist, Dr. Roger Hodkinson, incorrectly claimed in 2020 that COVID-19 was a “hoax” and “just a bad flu.”

Hodkinson and McCullough, along with five other authors, are also affiliated with and have a financial interest in The Wellness Company, a supplement and telehealth company that sells unproven treatments, including for purported protection against vaccines. [emphasis added]

Perhaps most tellingly, the scientists who conducted many of the autopsy studies came to opposite conclusions than the review authors. Of the 240 cases, for example, 105 come from a single paper in Colombia, whose authors found “[n]o relation between the cause of death and vaccination.”  Similarly, the review authors counted 24 of 28 autopsies from a study from Singapore as vaccine-related, even though the original authors identified “no definite causative relationship” to mRNA vaccines."

    https://www.factcheck.org/2024/07/flawed-autopsy-review-revives-unsupported-claims-of-covid-19-vaccine-harm-censorship/

Then last November, the anti-vax group of authors managed to get the paper published again in an online journal headed and overseen by various anti-vaxers, including McCullough.

As the above fact check recounts:

"Update, Nov. 19: On Nov. 17, the autopsy review that sparked these initial claims and that was later withdrawn from its journal was republished online, renewing claims of censorship and the incorrect idea that the COVID-19 vaccines “are causing large numbers of deaths.” The republication outlet, Science, Public Health Policy and the Law, says it is a peer-reviewed journal, but it is not indexed on PubMed. The editor-in-chief is James Lyons-Weiler, a wellknown spreader of vaccine misinformation. Other board members, including one author of the republished paper [McCullough], are also known spreaders of vaccine misinformation."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Lyons-Weiler#Controversies

    Translation:

Anybody, no matter their education, their exemplary performance in their careers, awards won, etc.  if they have ever gone against the Covid narrative they are forever relegated to the ranks of discredited hacks.

Because some fact checker said so.

TBH Lacessit, i don't blame you for leaving the thread. Along with a couple of others, you are hard left on the Vaccine issue. I'm far right. The middle ground is for those who are undecided.

Red's thread is really for those on the fence; who could go one way or t'other, if they need to make a choice. I trust the postings, from both sides, have helped them for the future.
