  1. If that is a photo of him then I guess he deserves it. Clearly had a much harder life that me. I'm a year younger and he looks about 20 years older than me!!
  2. That is such a tired old joke.
  3. Yeah because that is where New Zealanders come from.
  4. How long did you live in HK? Might be a chance we know each other ????
  5. As Crazu Noobie already recommended. Thnic.co.th is where you register Thai domains. The bigger question might be why would you not register a regular dot com?
  6. Why? Don't you think adults should be allowed to choose if they want to take drugs? Why should people be allowed to drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes? How about being allowed to gamble? ban that too? Drive faster than 20km an hour? Let's ban everything that is fun just because some people could be harmed by it. I know 100's of people who use or used to use cocaine. Bankers, lawyers, judges, business people, chefs and both men and women. None of them had any issues.
  7. This might help https://counsellingthailand.com/thai-therapists-in-australia/
  8. You could also use a hemp wick. This is a 3m roll. Light the end and poke it down between the grate. https://highsostore.com/en/product/raw-hemp-wick/
  9. Who says 40 million is 'all their eggs'? That's only slightly more than $1 million USD The issue with it is the amount of land is far too small, what crappy little house are you going to build on that? Even with a small house there won't be much space left for a garden, let alone a nice long gravel drive and room to park a few cars. Also the places you can invest are pathetic. What about letting people invest into real businesses? Of course the reality is that anyone with real money can stay here as long as they want without this nonsense.
  10. I have a friend here from the UK. He's 21 with a net worth of around 3 million GBP from crypto. He rents a condo in Bangkok for 150K THB per month and is here on a tourist visa. When his visa is up, he leaves for a month or more to travel to other countries and has no issue getting another tourist visa when he comes back to Bangkok. That is also what I did before I turned 50. 3 weeks here, 1 week in Singapore. 3 weeks here, 1 week in Hong Kong. etc Easy to do if you are young and have cash.
  11. And allowed to live in Thaiand by whom ? What makes you think he lives in Thailand?
  12. I know a couple of Thai guys working in Bangkok who are earning in the 200K+ bracket. I think most professional Thais are on at least 80-100K
  13. I used to do this, although it's about 10 years since I last skated in Bangkok. People who skate in traffic are usually very good skaters who know exactly what they are doing. I see so many people judging this guy based on their own skill level or fitness. And incidentally I saw a guy skating past Nana BTS on Sunday evening, pretty sure it wasn't this guy, so maybe a few more skillful skaters out there!
  14. Back in the 90's before phones had big screens and became like pocket computers, I used to spend a lot of time sending SMS messages back and forth with friends and talking to them on the phone. Also phones could play music so I often listened to music when I was on public transport or walking down the street. And playing snake ????
  15. Not sure where in Thailand that is but doesn't sound anything like the part of Bangkok I live in. No Karaoke, no dogs barking, no temple music or any other music for that matter and no construction noise even when they built a condo over the road! Sure its a city and it's busy but that's part of the reason I love it.
  16. Only women with breast that aren't sagging at all.
  17. Lots of pictures and info about the new place https://www.facebook.com/thonarea/posts/pfbid013Cvy16GZ9DXC6XGyevuGTQZNEwtLLTG3aoYd1bW4WbCMJdbseBLopqnWoPPymHVl
  18. Worst value on the entire planet. Great value. Compared to Hong Kong I pay about 5 times less for my excellent condo in Bangkok.
  19. That's silly. Just buy a new one.
  20. Made up story. Chances of two adopted people who happen to be brother and sister meeting is astronomical unless they live in a very small town. People will write any old fantasy to get likes and recognition.
  21. Yes, my insurance covers me fully and very well if I'm admitted, but I have to pay ALL outpatient costs. If I have even a mild issue I need to get admitted or pay a lot. I've never needed to been admitted and have only been to hospitals when I've broken things or cut myself open (and couldn't glue said cut myself).
