Transport Double-Deckers Banned from Risky Roads After Tragic Crash
300sd replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
So since the busses react so badly they should be banned from dangerous roads! The common sense of Thailand. Public bus drivers in normal countries have at least a special drivers license and an air brake ticket. They usually know how to use them. What do they have here? A drive by the seat of your pants kind of guy who will run from the scene if he's not killed. They should have signs at the bus depots. "Take at your own risk." I'm sorry innocent passengers were killed. -

Nice of you to follow the law with your car, while waiting for other road lunatics to smarten up! That's very noble of you. I hope you make a difference. I on the other hand will continue to break the law and not stop at zebra crossings for exactly the reason we see in the “stoppers” video. Let me know when things change and I'll be more then pleased to abide. Bye, bye.

There is a lot going on here. Unfortunately for the family they pay a big price and they have my sympathy. It is unfortunate that they failed to look “both” ways. It's unfortunate that the guy in the fast lane stopped for them. He should know better! Thai drivers don't see this as a red light! Thai drivers mostly don't see a zebra crossing at all! Also a vehicle behind this “stopper” as a rule will swerve into the other lane to get by! It's unfortunate that zebra crossings give many a false sense of security. It's unfortunate that zebra crossings in this country don't work like other countries. What they offer is a place to cross at your own risk.

Canadian PM Carney Calls Snap Election Amid Rising Tensions with Trump
300sd replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Well if one is into more of the same like the last 10 yrs then Carney's your man. The only thing different compared to Trudeau is that he's smarter, there's no blackface following him around, and he won't say "people kind!" He owns 3 passports, his family lives in the US and he'll continue to ruin Canada. He's into the WEF and DEI. Fill your boots you fools. I don't have to leave if he's elected because I already did. What a sham. -
Trump's Letter to Iran Sets Two-Month Deadline for Nuclear Deal
300sd replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I happen to believe Iran when they say death to America and Death to Israel. If they have nuclear weapons then they can act on those threats. You think that's ok? Oh and it's ok for Houthi's to obstruct shipping in the Red Sea. Most can read between the lines of your pathetic post.- 69 replies

British Retirees Escape Thai Jail After Violent Land Dispute
300sd replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
What's crazy? They pleaded guilty and were not sentenced to jail time. They got a fine. The "elderly" couple were also charged and did not plead guilty so they had to go through a prolonged court case that cost them dearly. This is how the Thai "justice" system works. -

How many people actually know the real history of Ukraine and Zelensky?
300sd replied to spacex's topic in The War in Ukraine
Reality check- Ukraine did not join NATO because they didn't have the qualifications etc and also Russia wouldn't be happy about NATO on it's border. And you may want to mention to those "simple people" that Ukraine had nukes when they were a republic of the USSR. They were Russian nukes and Ukraine couldn't use them because they didn't have the firing codes. -
Trump’s Bold Stand Against Campus Antisemitism Sends a Clear Message
300sd replied to Social Media's topic in World News
This is about antisemitism on college campuses. Not sure what you are talking about but I would suggest you go live in Israel for a couple of years. See how you like it. (You know like when rockets are flying over from Gaza)! Oh and while you're there have your son or daughter taken as a hostage into Gaza. Then you'll have a real feel for the place....bye, bye. -
Trump’s Bold Stand Against Campus Antisemitism Sends a Clear Message

Yeh well they never had to "work" with the last federal gov't did they. The last one was obviously on board with them or vise-versa. A university that needs to be forced to do the right thing, by threatening their funding is disgusting. Stop that funding for one whole year. Better yet, stop it forever. The other progressive universities will fall in line real fast.
