  1. "exercise caution in areas with large Arab populations due to a climate of hostility and potential danger". It is the duty of the Police to REMOVE this danger. Perhaps send them back to where they will feel less "hostility".. I wonder how Europeans would get on in Arab states if they exhibited anger and hostility.. would the leaders of Arab nations just warn fellow Arabs to be careful ?
  2. This has only made the news because it involves mostly White attractive young females.. it is not an unusual occurrence in Cambodia and I expect the same in Laos. Perhaps there needs to be more education of tourists to the dangers in these countries - but I doubt if that will change anything viz tourist motorcycle accidents in Thailand. If people really want to remain blind to the dangers of these sorts of destinations then they cannot be surprised when things do go badly wrong. There are thousands of cases of Malaria and it can be fatal. Then there is Dengue fever..
  3. Maserati driver will be speaking to Red Bull lawyers... so we can guess where this will go.. I wonder what his links are to Putin's circle ?

  6. as far as I know, Thailand is not signed up to these.. time for European countries to withdraw.. they are no longer fit for their original purpose... the US could withdraw as well.. that should satisfy you ?
  7. I think this should be the first deployment of the new Chinese submarine... they can dig a big hole...
  8. UK government petty mindedness... but then, how can they make up for the money it costs to house and feed the illegal immigrants.... ?
  9. None of us choose our parents nor which country we are born into. Cycles of abuse are never hard to diagnose. One wonders what the childhood of the grandmother must have been like. And for those who say that not everyone who is abused turns out to be an abuser, that is an argument that is very easy to demolish - it only take a stroke of good fortune in a time of need for our outcomes to be completely different.... sadly for most, there is no stroke of good luck.
  10. mm... loud high frequency sound that humans cannot hear run for 48 hours pointing in the direction of the dog might be interesting. what happens to dogs when they are severely sleep deprived ?
  11. but but but.. I thought it was the Ukraine who were the den of Nazis ?
  12. I don't know if anyone can shed some light on this. I just checked the Interpol Red Notice alerts for Vorayuth Yoovidhya - nothing. I then looked for all those showing with a Thai nationality. There were about 30 of them, but his name still did not come up. "Interpol has issued a “red notice” to arrest the fugitive Thai heir to the Red Bull billions over his role in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Bangkok, police have said" from the Guardian 3 years ago.... has the Red notice been withdrawn and if so, why ? I must be missing something ????
  13. Next you will be saying that Russia has not been invaded since WW2 and Putin's "special operation" is going to plan...
  14. To answer your question... in Thailand of course ......
  15. Ah, Thai logic at it finest again.. if the amulet had really worked perhaps that tree would not have fallen on her car ?
  16. and a well known person kills a cop and it does not warrant a serious charge... Thai moral standards at it's finest...
  17. Funny, I would have expected such an article from a meteorologist.. But hey, this is Thailand.. maybe economists study meteorology ???... I am looking forward to an economic assessment by a meteorologist...
  18. So you support colonization ?... wow.. that says a lot about you.. the sort of person who only thinks of themselves...
  19. Britain could have saved even more money if it never went to war with Germany in WW2.....
  20. Average funeral costs in the UK 4,800 pounds.. over 200,000 Baht ?... average funeral costs in Thailand The cheapest was about 8,000 baht, while those that lasted longer and required more items cost more than 50,000 baht, some close to 100,000 baht. - seems dying in Thailand is a bargain..
  21. believing Green means it is safe to go.... it only means it MIGHT be safe to go....
  22. If the Thai government wants to stop the issue of beggars, then provide a safety net for the most vulnerable... what a disgusting government.. I guess they need the money for a submarine which is their delusional eyes, is more important...
  23. ah.... the bus lost control... nothing to do with the driver losing control... sounds like Thai logic at it's finest.... need to discipline the bus naughty bus...
  24. Seems it is "children's hour" in the UK.. after being found.. = The family vented their fury at police in the UK and Thailand, accusing them of not helping. Sarah, from Barnsley, told South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Alan Billings, in a complaint letter: "As Simon’s sister, I feel neglected and unsupported during this distressing time." What a load of pathetic children... oh diddums.. the UK Police were not there to hold his sisters hand... quick, declare a national emergency...
