So it's a regiment, not a division, as stated in the article?
Picky, picky, picky. These articles are typically written by Thais who do not have the nuance of the English language. Regiment, division, Brigade, Battalion; it's a bit difficult for them. Yes, the writer could have done as Burma Bill did, but more likely he translated it directly from Thai.

And regarding face masks he said that the authorities in his province had been told to fine people 20,000 baht if they are out without a face mask.
I think the Governor has a lot of 'Kim' blood flowing in his veins. He is enjoying his power way too much.

And is having a hair cut really one of "life's basic necessities"?
Not for you, but the barber/stylist needs to eat and pay the rent.

that bit if you touched them.
I remember those days and I'm not even a 'sparky'. I just tied to fix things on my own... ???? But this type project is way above my pay grade.

In fact most people even when seeing the doctor opt to buy their meds separately at a pharmacy since it saves a great deal of money, hospitals mark the prices way up.
@streetlite, I also go to Bumrungrad. You should listen to Sheryl regards the pricing. Bumrungrad marks their meds up even higher than other hospitals. There are many meds that most pharmacies do not stock, so locally in Nakhon Sawan may be a challenge, especially Boots, Big C, Watsons, etc. I suggest finding one owned by a Thai of Chinese decent or one located near the Sawanpracharak/Hospital Paknampho 2, Sri Sawan or Romchat Hospitals in Nakhon Sawan.
In my case, I buy what I can at Pure (Big C) and the rest from a pharmacy not far from Bumrungrad.

Solvang, CA. Gorgeous winter weather in small town, wine tasting, bakeries, they can even get around by horse and buggy like Central Park.
Sounds like heaven, but CA is run by idiots. ????

With all the COVID shamers, government informers and snitches on here, you just spread too much info.

Not another big city, obviously.
@Sheryl, how big is not big? My first thought was Bryan-College Station Texas or one of the small towns near-by. A plus for BCS is that there is a bus transit system and some excellent doctors and hospitals. There are also a few of the Senior citizen apartment complexes (my Mother used one when she was alive and lived there 3-4 yrs), although, I do not know if they would lease on a 6 month basis. My oldest brother who lives in BCS handled all of that for her.
Then I thought about Arizona. Sadly, I know very little about the state except that there are many snow birds. My ex lives there and is a PA. She might be willing to send me info.

have decided that 2-3 days a week in the office is an acceptable risk. We're not exactly packed in like sardines and there are mask, sanitiser and distancing measures in place.
Do you need someone to carry your computer or tool bag? ????

I agree and it's a credit to him for doing so. I dare not mention another celebrity recently highlighted here who was quite disregarding to her staff (or crew).

Thailand has closed its airports to passengers except for very limited evacuation or reputation activity from my understanding.
I'm pretty sure that only applies to inbound passengers. Outbound, no problem. (Otherwise EVA and others would not be flying here.)

Of course you did. They saw ATM in your eyes and coming out your ears. No need to give NCC a break. ????
