  1. If you for now ignore the ATS: If breaker box get power from grid. And inverter AC OUT is connected to Breaker box,, i guess would be a issue. In short it means AC Out got grid power. Pink
  2. Im worried about the Inverters AC Out not ac In.. If ac out connected to breaker box for serving the load when grid routed direct to breaker box, then inverter will get power from ac In. Pink
  3. Ok thanks for the info. I had the idea that i would make a easy way to re- route the grid back to main breaker box if need to disable grid from inverter. Then i come to think about inverter ac out would get back feed power from the breaker box grid. Now I'm thinking maybe skip that's part just connect all direct, then if need to switch back only move grid wires from Inverter breaker to breaker box again. Pink
  4. I see there is a larger ATS with 4 ports on each side Could i use 2 for main grid ( beakers and inverter) and 2 for inverter ac out ( breaker box and none) So inverter ac out is off when grid is routed to breaker box? Pink
  5. Yes i know, but could be an idea to longer life on the inverter to give it some rest? Regarding the main grid switch to either main breaker box or to inverter as we discuss before i guess i like the look and feel of the ats (in manual mode) better than the knife switch. Pink
  6. Here is a setup with ats used with hybrid inverter Pink
  7. Crossy. I asked a seller about the Special line and give link to Evereast, but i see also another link in your post to http://www.1express.net/index.html# Both correct for this special line service? Pink
  8. Back on Inverter search. What i found today is MPP might sold out on the max11kw. I still looking around, and also noticed that Powmr have better reviews than MPPsolar on Amazon... Pink
  9. After i see this video about MC4 Connectors i got worried about mixing connectors from different brands. Ex the connector on solar panel could end up to be different from what buy for cables to inverter. What's your view and experience on this? Pink
  10. How is your panels taking very strong wind? I might expose my first row if panels for some more air than others for less shadowing. Pink
  11. Here is a simple drawing of my plan for the one side of my roof. If any better idea for how to connect the 7+7 panels feel free to suggest Pink
  12. Im looking for some easy online tool or template to show my panel setup, any ideas? Pink
  13. What is the other options? Do you use any switch between grid and inverter vs breakers? Pink
  14. Good point, check my update on the knife type switch Pink
  15. How much usable average wh per month could i expect from 6600w panels? Could i calculate from your numbers, or your different setup will make it different? Battery limits not counted for now. Expect unlimited capacity for estimate Pink
  16. Maybe i should use this one if back feeding is a issue: If i use 2 in for grid and 1 in for ac out (inverter) then ac out power cut together with grid cut from inverter. Pink
  17. I have plan to use a Dual Power Transfer Switch between my grid line to inverter and direct to house breakers so if any issues with inverter I can easy change grid to go off or direct to house breakers. One think have bother my main: If grid is switch to house breakers and if not ac out on inverter is disconnected first from house breakers then will the inverter be back feed with grid power? I guess that's not wanted. I do have plan for breaker on ac out to.. Pink
  18. Thanks, i guess im a bit low on my 20 x 330 (6600kw) to expect 800kw+ month. I might ad some more kw to my plan. Pink
  19. Thanks for that info, how much panel kw is that? I want to try compare my calculations with real productions numbers. Pink
  20. This is a average month? You have around 10kw panels? Pink
  21. ok i suggested 20cm and my brother in law who will weld and mount this suggested 30cm. How much clearance you have? Pink
  22. What distance between the roof and the panels you recommend? Pink
  23. You have any good alternatives than the typical hybrid inverters as off grid backup? Pink
  24. Crossy, what sofar units you use? i thought they Sofar was ongrid so how you charge and get use of your battery power? Pink
  25. SPF 5000 ES looks like a good solution but its max pv voltage of 450v and i have 2 x 455v so then if SPF 5000 ES i need 3 units not 2 as the others who is 500v limit. Im not set on the Sorotec made units yet.. even Mppsolar is not out yet. Do some ad mppt controllers to improve charge capacity of a all in one setup? Pink
