  1. Interesting map. I see a lot of flippable states there IF Trump doesn't run. And especially if Biden does.
  2. Just saw on the news that only 28% of people want Joe to run again. Makes Trump look like a shoe-in at 35%.
  3. Actually, radio beats tv in the 18-49 year old demographic. https://www.insideradio.com/free/in-historic-first-radio-beats-television-among-18-49-year-olds/article_9773e41c-c247-11ed-b31d-0310809c740c.html#:~:text=But the latest Nielsen report, where radio is gaining ground. Tucker and Beck both hit about 3 million viewers at their best. As I said before, Beck's radio audience is 10 million. Joe Rogan gets more for his podcast. You really don't understand the reach of portable media, do you?
  4. Yes, we mock what we dont understand. He has the 5th most listened to show in the nation. Radio has overtaken tv as a media source. You are right, people listen in the car, both standard radio and SiriusXM. For longer than they watch tv. So we have gone from "like a record store" to disregarding millions of viewers and listeners. You guys are really desperate to see failure where it will not happen.
  5. Exactly. OLD Bill, already on the downside. Plus $60 million plus in legal settlements for his sins. These days there is a lot more to the media landscape than cable tv.
  6. Yeah, only 10 million listeners.... keep trying.
  7. It is also hardly a "record store". You apparently don't know much about the evolution of media these days. 400 radio stations, plus plus plus. You are just a bit too eager to crow without knowing the facts.
  8. Please don't display your lack of knowledge so obviously. Blaze has nearly 1 million Twitter followers, Glen Beck's podcast is #4 on Apple's news commentary list. Also on 400 radio stations. Not the same.
  9. I have a feeling that Tucker 2.0 will be even bigger than the current incantation. I am thinking similar to Joe Rogan. Once he is free of the network and the bosses, he will thrive. He is/was a very good writer before hitting tv, and can also do long form interviews. Not to mention organizations like Blaze and Daily Wire have probably already sent him offers. I have a feeling he will be tormenting the entitled left and the Washington uniparty for many years to come.
  10. Uh, that VOX clip is from more than 3 years ago..... nothing to do with the present conflict.
  11. Oh I know there are some moderate Muslims, and even some relatively moderate Muslim nations. But they are rare in comparison to other religions. Even in rather 'normal' countries like Malaysia, more than half the Muslim population wants Sharia as the law of the land. Large majorities in places like Egypt favor death for those who leave Islam. You would be hard pressed to find similar positions in other religions. It is all a matter of scale.
  12. You know, pre-2016 Don Lemon was actually an interesting journalist. He talked a lot more about social issues and less about politics. He did some good reporting. But I guess Trump broke his spirit, as he did so many other journalists.
  13. You already toik the Godwin Award, no need to repeat.
  14. Not according to the 58% of Americans who disapprove with how he is handling the economy.
  15. Uh, if you actually read the story you will discover that the urinating passenger in question was Indian...
  16. ...and so we have a winner in the Godwin's Law sweepstakes!
  17. He really doesn't have a choice. She checks two strong boxes in the Heirarchy of Grievance, so jettisoning her would be extremely toxic politically. I think it also spooks Democrats in general. IF Joe doesn't run, can they make a case for a completely new candidate over the current sitting VP?
  18. To save time, how about we just copy and paste the Florida discussion from a couple of weeks ago? Or is there anything in the North Dakota law that is different...
  19. You certainly seem rather incensed about the situation. Perhaps a symptom of the problem in the US is that people resort to name calling at the drop of a hat and retreat to their safe zones- both right and left.
  20. True. But very few of them advocate for executing apostates or homosexuals. In fact, I can think of only one...
  21. Clever timing by CNN to sneak this in when the rest of the media world is talking about Fox firing Tucker... WIth Don, the question was "when", not "if".
  22. Never watched too much other than a few youtube clips. It might be part of the lawsuit settlement that Fox has to decruit a few people. In any case, with the changing media landscape these days, Tucker will probably be better off not being part of a large organization. I can see podcasts and Substack in his future, as well as a boatload of cash. He had 3 million viewers nightly, if he can take them to another platform he will be fine. As for a replacement, I personally hope it isnt Charlie Kirk. He seems like a bit of a blowhard to me. How about Michael Knowles...
  23. Actually, it IS about the behavior of those who preach doom and gloom. When the alarmists start living and behaving as if they actually BELIEVE what they are peddling, then I may take them more seriously. In the meantime, they are just so much hot air.
  24. The reporting or non reporting is not the issue. Each news organization can make that call. The issue is the collaboration of politicians and tech to stifle the story. Banning and suspending a newspaper for writing about it is actually a threat to democracy. An ex-CIA director admitting that he (along with the Biden campaign) twisted arms to have the story killed is a threat to democracy.
  25. Not through lack of trying. There seems to be a very vocal segment of people who cry,"you don't NEED an AR15" and would be happy to see them confiscated. A ban on sale or transfer is just the first step. Be honest, you would be very happy if all the AR style guns could somehow be removed from peoples' hands, wouldn't you?
