Actually, a lot of countries don't use a simple majority voting system. UK, Canada, for example. As for felons voting, the two states you mention are the only ones where felons who are still in prison can vote. In 15 states, felons who complete their sentences can vote. Five states after sentence and parole. Twenty states after sentence and probation.

Think I was assuming everyone caught a wiff of /s with my writing. I'll try to be more direct next time. And not American, but thanks for the compliment. -
Stormy Daniels Calls for Trump's Imprisonment Following Conviction

A little different case though. Stormy's NDA was a simple one with nothing to do with crime. Just an agreement to shut up about a certain topic. -

The IDF has discovered more than 20 secret tunnels in the Rafah area going from Egypt to Gaza. Some are big enough that trucks can drive through. Why hasn't there been any aid delivered by Hamas (the defacto government of Gaza) to its people through these tunnels? Or are they exclusively used for 'other' purposes only...

She and others were "paraded through cheering crowds". Remember this next time some pearl-clutching leftie starts mewling about 'innocent' Palestinian civilians being caught in the crossfire of war. -

The 2016 election called and wants its talking points back. More important, both were draft dodgers. As were many men of that generation. Dick Cheney, Bill Clinton... props to John Kerry for at least having the balls to fight. -

If you look closely, the only areas of Uganda with the death penalty are the...wait for it.... Muslim provinces. I am waiting for the world to sanction the majority of countries where these despicable laws are promulgated. Also places where gender apartheid is practiced. But I wont hold my breath. -

She was wrong. And she lost. Just like Romney and his stupid remark about "47% of Americans ....". He lost too. -

Q Anon? Come on, man. Haven't heard about that for years. The rest of your sleep inducing diatribe is yet more regurgitation. With a few edits I could craft the same unhinged lunacy about the Democrats- calling Trump an illegitimate president, cheering on mobs who destroyed thousands of businesses and assaulted thousands of police in the 2020 riots, etc... but what good would it do? It shows one of the most basic divides in American politics. Those on the right generally think those on the left are wrong. Those on the left generally think those on the right are evil. -
Budget cuts? In 2011 the UK national budget was 700 billion GBP. 2021 was 1.05 trillion. This year looking at close to 1.2 trillion.

Not Muslim only. But the hatred for sexual minorities in Muslim countries is nearly universal. The only countries where being gay is a death penalty offense are Muslim. -
It is interesting to me how favouring your own citizens over non-citizens is seen as a radical right position. From my position far from Europe, the "radical right" seem to be a threat mainly due to their immigration policies. They don't want thousands/millions of aliens washing up on their shores and disturbing them. Plus the social and financial costs are enormous. Actual right wing parties would call for abolishing national health care, privatizing universities, and slashing various other social programmes. These 'populists' want to keep those programmes, but only for their own citizens. Makes sense to me.

Your talking points are very last election cycle. Please try to find new material. It is the exact attitude, calling people who dont agree with you "goobers" and the like, that cost Hillary the election. "Basket of deplorables" anyone? -

Ah, the oft debunked "very fine people on both sides" quote. Needs a bit of context, my friend. He was talking about those who were protesting the removal of statues of Confederate heroes. He also said that he was NOT talking about the neo Nazis and white supremacists, who should be condemned totally. -
Looming Over Trump’s Conviction: Reversal by the '13th Juror'

Sorry to disappoint but I don't watch Fox, it isn't available here. I DO know that it is a very bad look for the current President to be seen trying to hinder his most powerful rival, less than 6 months from the election. Especially when the crime being used happened so long ago the statute of limitations ran out, until it was revived by a rather sketchy and seldom if ever used legal proviso. Not to mention, the amount is so trivial. Falsifying $130,000 of records? Chump change. Who was the victim? The rest of your talking points are all very yesterday. Baked into the pie. The more you flog them, the less relevant they become. In the end, it may not matter. The more the left crows about 34 FELONIES, the more people will ask, "just what WERE the felonies", and then laugh. Some posit that this may be what propels Trump to the White House, which would be bitter indeed for the Democrats. -

Actually, not really. Sounds like lots of irrelevant finger pointing. Biden has a long and storied record of being on the wrong side of most foreign policy matters, dating back to his time in the Senate. A legacy he continues to this day. As for the Afghan debacle, as far as I remember the sudden withdrawal happened while BIDEN was President, though I could be wrong about that. To be honest, the whole invasion of the country was a mistake from the beginning. Especially once Bin Laden was killed, there was no reason to hang around. But that's another story. -
Looming Over Trump’s Conviction: Reversal by the '13th Juror'
Hanaguma replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I doubt that a majority of anti-Trumpers could actually articulate what he was convicted of, other than parroting 'convicted felon' every 25 seconds. I mean, let's be serious. Private citizen Trump, retired president with no ambition to run for re-election, would NEVER have been indicted on these charges. The charges were left to rot for years- so long that the statute of limitaitons on them had expired. Yet when it became apparent that Trump had a shot at being the GOP nominee, they were resurrected. The timing is utter insanity- indict the leading contender for the Presidency? Over such miniscule and inconsequentical matters? It reeks of political hackery and fear. Another thing the left fails to see, which may contribute to their downfall- a large slice of Trump voters actually don't like him that much. They aren't all koolaid drinkers, members of the MAGA cult, morons. A lot are willing to hold their collective noses and vote for Trump as he is the only alternative to 6 more months of Biden, then the Harris remake of the party. The GOP is assembling a large and diverse tent of voters, and Democrats ignore this at their peril. -

Y'all might want to be careful criticizing the speck in your opponent's eye. The current President ALSO used student deferrals to avoid service in Vietnam- actually 5 of them to Trump's 4. He then was also declared medically unfit (same as Trump), but due to asthma as a child, in spite of a storied career as a lifeguard and college athlete. Not much to choose between the two of them there. Difference perhaps is Joe the Watch Checker, also responsible for the Afghanistan withdrawal fiasco, the Gulf War supporter... -
I believe the transcripts were 'cleaned up' to remove certain vocabulary and utterances from the President. You know, no reason. Other than to try and hide the President's obvious trouble in answering questions clearly. https://justthenews.com/government/courts-law/justice-department-says-bidens-classified-docs-interview-transcript-omitted
