  1. Again ironically in the debate it was BIDEN who was name calling and being childish, even Trump had to call him on it. Gold Star families aren't crazy about Biden either, considering he FORGET that they even exist in the debate. For better or worse, the Trump years pre-Covid were pretty good. You can argue about why and all that, but the bottom line is that people will remember them. They will remember when gas was 2 bucks and their mortgage rate was 3%. And that will sink Biden. Because he has nothing to run on that anyone will believe. That is why the Democrats are reverting to their old playbook of "RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA" and "OH OUR DEMOCRACY" and other tired shibboleths. It won't work.
  2. Who appeared mean? It was Biden who did most of the personal attacks. Trump was remarkably restrained. Biden didnt engage in Trumps lies because he couldnt. He was not capable of thinking quickly or speaking extemporaneously. He was lost in a fog of prepared and canned soundbites. Even then he mixed them up. Just admit it, Biden performed very poorly and showed a rather shocking deterioration in mental agility and temperament.
  3. Trump wont spend one night in prison. Even IF the judge sentences him, the sentence will be appealed immediately. There will be a superior court/appeals court judge on standby to stay the sentence pending hearing the appeal. Trump will walk out of the courthouse the same day regardless. Biden isnt backing down, partly out of pride. Partly because his wife loves being First Lady. Partly because there would be chaos if he stepped down- who gets top slot? Kamala? A guaranteed election defeat. Anyone else, especially a white man, and the party will burst into intercine conflict.
  4. Clinton wasnt impeached for lying. He was impeached for suborning perjury. All politicians lie. It is in their nature. Trump is also a fabulist, a world class BS artist. It is part of being from New York. And ol' Joe wasn't exactly telling the truth either- no American soldiers killed this century, sorry this decade, sorry in my presidency.... The point is that Biden was incapable of noticing. He stood with his mouth open and a rictus look, rarely blinking. The split screen absolutely killed him.
  5. Me too. Megyn is a guilty pleasure but I wish she would STFU sometimes and let her guests talk.
  6. And POC adjacent as well. Almost like Kamala!
  7. You been listening to Charlie Kirk again? What a disaster that would be. Jill running, I mean.
  8. It is a debate. A contact sport. If Trump lies, it is up to Biden to call him out and refute him, not the moderators. And Biden was incapable. Ironically, it ws Biden who was being childish and infantile, calling names and making personal attacks. And it was Trump who had to ask, "let's not act like children". Joe is done.
  9. Yeah. Joe had a cold. A cold that kept him from being able to complete sentences. Or think. Or pronounce words. Or make sense. Like how illegal immigration is caused by abortions done because brothers and sisters rape their daughters or something like that. Just be honest. Joe is in decline. It wasn't the moderators, or his 'cold' which nobody talked about until he was tanking in the debate, or the time of day, or over preparation. It was cognitive decline.
  10. Well, that is because the IDF is being remarkablly restrained in how it conducts operations. Given the firepower available, they could have turned Gaza into a parking lot in 48 hours. But they chose to be humanitarian and sensitive and do all they can to avoid civilian casualties. Remember, the war would end tomorrow if Hamas surrendered and returned the hostages. As for Hezbollah, nothing would be better than seeing the IDF and the USN stomp a mudhole through them.
  11. This was no case of simply Joe having a bad night, or a bad debate. Obama had a bad debate in 2012 against Romney. But it was obviously lack of preparation and being a bit rusty. That is NOT the case here. Age and mental infirmity is a one way street. It doesn't get better and cannot be cured.
  12. The media bias has never been so obvious as in the last month. Remember the Trump conviction? The talking heads at CNN etc could barely control their giggles and glee. Speculating about prison time, almost high fiving each other. Then look at the post-debate panels. Almost funereal. Downcast, almost in tears, maundering speculation. And we are supposed to trust these people?
  13. This is something that needs to be repeated. The media and the Democrats KNEW that Biden was ailing, and has been since the 2020 election. Yet they continued to gaslight the public, tell lies about his condition, and endangered the country. How many talking heads did you hear saying things like, "wow, I can't believe Biden's energy, I can barely keep up!" and "if you saw him behind the scenes at the White House, he was spending hours discussing policy and was razor sharp". They were ALL lying. It is a huge story and people need to be fired.
  14. If you want to talk actual good candidates for either party I would say; For the Democrats, Gov. Wes Moore of Maryland Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona For the GOP, Gov. Doug Burgum of North Dakota Gov. Laura Kelly of Kansas
  15. True. If you look around Biden, you see a LOT of Obama's people. They were all on the media after the debate sounding out the idea of replacing Joe. If you look behind Biden there is definitely a Barack-shaped shadow. Perhaps Michelle shaped? One big problem with trying to swap out Michelle for Biden is that she really, really doesn't like the Bidens. For all I did not agree with Obama and many of his decisions, he and his family were scrupulously clean of any hint of wrongdoing or financial shenanigans. Michelle sees the Bidens as grifters. Perhaps an appeal to her patriotism might do the trick, but I think her default position is to stay on the sidelines. It will take a combined Clinton/Obama/Pelosi effort to convince Jill Biden to convince Joe to step down. Then you are left with the Kamala problem...you think SHE wants to be VP again?
  16. Agreed. It is smart to leave the media attention on the disarray and panic among Democrats. Classic case of not interrupting your opponent when they are screwing up. Definitely shows Trump maturing as a politician and starting to take advice. Just like the debate, where Biden was the one who seemed petulant and was always making personal comments about Trump.
  17. More like, they all sat down and realized that it is near impossible to jettison Joe if he doesn't want to go. That is why the narrative has changed so dramatically in 48 hours. Just after the debate was "wow, maybe we need someone new...." and now suddenly it is "just a bad day, we have confidence". Plus they all saw the looming elephant in the room in the form of Kamala Harris. Either giving her the top slot or trying to remove her are both guarantees to lose the election. Perhaps better to stay with Slim Chance Joe, because slim is at least better than none.
  18. Having a cold might explain the voice. But not the rambling, nonsensical answers. It wasnt a stutter either. It was a fundamental weakness of mind. You know things were getting bad when it was TRUMP who had to say, "let's stop acting like children". As to the future, it all depends on Dr. Jill. She is obviously running the show now. Did you see how fast she bolted from the wings of the debate stage to take control of Joe? Steered him around, helped him navigate those two 6 inch steps to the moderators' desk? She is doing that more and more now. So if she says "keep running", he will. It would be a monumental task for the DNC to try and oust a sitting president and presumptive nominee. Especially since they ran an uncontested primary campaign.
  19. I have been watching a YouTube channel by a guy called Cash Jordan, who is from New York City. He is a real estate guy, but his videos are all about the decay and decline of NYC. Very watchable and he makes a lot of sense. One thing I did notice in his videos is that you see very few people wearing suits or even ties in NYC these days (business people). Almost everyone is in a hoodie or looking borderline disreputable. I think the commercial heart of the city is being strangled.
  20. The Democrats are realizing that getting Joe out of the way is harder than just wishing. First, they ran an uncontested primary, so at their national convention there is no debate. It is a coronation. The only way is IF Joe himself volunteers to step aside. And good luck with that. He has his pride, his wife is propping him up. Second problem comes with who replaces him. It would be virtually impossible to push Harris aside for a number of reasons. First, like it or not she IS the VP. Her job is to be ready to take over the top job. It is a bad look for the Democratic establishment to suddenly admit that she was actually totally unqualified all along. Second, she has a magic Melanin Forcefield, backed up with the Double X Chromosone Power Pack. God forbid she is replaced by a White Man. There would be a revolution in the left flank of the party. So you have to get HER to agree to voluntarily step aside too. What are the odds of that?
  21. Well, Van does have the advantage of the Melanin Forcefield, which shields him from most criticism. Plus a lifetime of being on the left of most issues.
  22. Oh, I do. And if you have evidence of this, I would like to see it. Anyway, the majority of farm labour in the US is still done by citizens and legal residents, so nothing to be concerned about. As is the majority of restaurant work, hotel work, landscaping, etc.
  23. I dont know, it is your assertion, please provide some evidence. What I DO know is that many young girls and women would be alive today if their attackers had not been ushered into the country by the truly execrable border policies of this administration.
  24. True, but if you look up "support staff" in the dictionary, you generally don't see a picture of Barack Obama with his hand up someone's arse.
