  1. After 18 years, I'm quite content to have never felt a local.
  2. In Thailand it's not a crime to have drinks with prostitutes!
  3. Yes, Thai food is usually full of unhealthy sugar and sodium. Best to only eat it occasionally.
  4. Gosh, really? That's very profound.
  5. They are entering illegally and/or claiming asylum. Not the same thing.
  6. I think it's been established by @Tropicalevo that it's a file photo, thanks.
  7. You couldn't be more wrong! It's far more nuanced than that.
  8. Time for Gavin Newsom...🙏
  9. You can in an International school. Is there an international school in Ekkamai....?🤔
  10. Why is being a sex tourist illegal? As long as it's with people of legal age, there's no law against it!
  11. is that him in the photo or a 'file photo'?
  12. Why come to Thailand then? Surely there's more likelihood of finding a Julian Assange fan in your home country?
  13. At 21, you're certainly a "tourist", so the chance of stying here long enough to establish a genuine relationship is virtually nil. If it bothers you so much, just consider yourself as a "tourist who has sex".
  14. OK. Good luck with that. At least you're good at starting provocative threads!
  15. Correct. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  16. What are you hoping to meet a nice 18-20 year-old girl for? If it's just for sex, then you're a sex tourist just like many others. If that concerns you don't do it! If you're hoping to find a "girlfriend", then don't look in sex-tourist places like Hua Hin's bar areas or online (most dating sites are really for prostitution) but unless you speak Thai and are young and attractive, you'll find it difficult. If you are successful in finding a much younger "girlfriend", either from a bar or anywhere else, you'll just have to put up with comments, and after a few years you won't even notice them.
  17. Surely no educated person could possible vote for Donald Trump?
  18. I'm not a huge fan of Starmer, but I've been solidly Labour all my life. To be honest any party except Reform UK would be a better alternative to what we've had since 2010.
  19. Perhaps you're right; I don't profess to be an expert. All I know is that all the Thai "Buddhists" I know eat inordinate amounts of meat. Perhaps they're not real Buddhists?
  20. Stick with the full body oil massage and you can't go wrong. You should feel significantly better afterwards.
  21. In the UK the candidate is irrelevant really, as it's the party that is elected that rules and chooses the PM. Vote Labour.
  22. My book is blue, not green. I moved from Bangkok to Rayong 3 years ago but have never changed my Bangkok plates or any paperwork, or my DL. Just renewed the tax each year.
  23. You certainly can, but it's likely to not be legal.
  24. Yes, more like a fee reduction.
