I was logged on to the expatvac site over a week ago Received a phone call at about 1000hrs Monday 23rd August Report to the Ruam Phaet private hospital here in Chai Nat Arrive 1400hrs Pfizer vaccine at 1500hrs There was 6 of us Westerners booked in passport check plus weigh in temperature check Then upstairs Blood pressure taken signed the Hospital paperwork Then received the Pfiser vaccine Waited 30 minutes the head Nurse briefed us any after reactions let them know phone number given After the 30 minutes a other blood pressure check if okay given the next appointment paperwork for the second vaccine 20th September 2021 The system in the hospital was very professionally run a quality service A big thank you to all involved from the registration to the nursing staff in the hospital carrying out the vaccination

Why do people still carry on breaking the Rules They know its wrong but continue do they think they know better than the rest of us These are trying times just obey the rules it's not hard a fine slap on the wrist first offence don't try the second time ????

Have to give it to the TAT they never tire of coming out with positive numbers of Tourists coming to Thailand ???????? Well let's see if these Russian tourists appear I would like for the sake of the tourist industry they do But I am afraid I am a bit apprehensive on this one

Yes noticed a shortage of pork products due to the Corivirus And when it is available prices up No problem with fresh chicken or other products eggs ect

Probably best he did not say how positive things are going to be in the coming weeks months ect As these words could come back to haunt him ????

Well that's a new one usually get stolen by guys on motor bikes If the Russian guy walks round with a gold necklace showing especially in these times deserves to be robbed He won't be the last

Agree with some on here it's better the devil you know than the one you don't We all keep living in hope things will improve but who knows how the future Will pan out Let's deal with the Corivirus problem concentrate on getting everyone vaccinated first then get people back to work

Why are they wasting money on these projects when people are queuing Up for food They never seem to get their priorities right Worry about making the place look nice after the Corivirus numbers decrease and the tourists arrive back

Like quite a few Thai people they only think about today and spend like no tomorrow Same those in the Tourist industry ripping off people ie the Ski boat scams ect Maybe in the coming years they will think more wisely about their futures And save for that rainy day????

Not holding my breath on this one as living out in the Provinces But can live in hope of getting the vaccine Time will tell

Why would Tourists want to come to Thailand while the Covid-19 is on the increase The Country needs to concentrate on the mass vaccination of its people Then worry about Tourism maybe 2022 earliest

It won't be going back to the 80s or 90s It will be more family oriented restaurants Fine dinning Maybe some expensive night clubs but the bar scene will disappear to your 2nd and 3rd roads

Yes it will be interesting to hear from people out in the Provinces getting the vaccine seems to be all about Bangkok just now Will await with vested interest ????

I think most of us will agree the figure of up to one million unemployed year end seems very low Maybe they forgot the 0 on the end ????

Well it should start decreasing considering most of the Vaccines are going to Bangkok and the red Provinces Plus the amount of people asked to leave and go back to their Provinces For treatment Wonder why the Numbers are now increasing daily in the outer Provinces ????

Well going on the predictions of Corivirus numbers increasing Thailand can forget any Tourists arriving in numbers for this year maybe after more vaccinations of the population middle of 2022

This is indeed a bad situation for Phuket in trying times for Tourism It will not stop Tourism or people travelling to Thailand as cases before on the Islands have proved Just makes people more aware plus going out on your own especially woman not a good idea

I think the majority of so called tourists arriving in Phuket are people who either live or work in Thailand What real tourist is going to go through the hassle of getting here then finds nothing open no alcohol ect for 2 weeks or longer ????

Well I am not complaining about the baht losing out against other currencies If its 50 to the Sterling pound end of the year will be happy as mentioned Pensioners will be smiling ????
