Eggs Benedict? Beautifully presented. Please continue to enjoy your mall visits.
Siam Paragon and Central World might be the biggest but I really like two of the newer ones - Embarquier and Central Embassy which, when the connection to the Central Department Store is considered, must have many square meters of floor space. The newer malls are not in the Wikipedia article.
Just curious OP. How do you get between floors on your scooter? Perhaps there are large elevators(?)
.....maybe things look bigger if your sitting in a wheelchair.

...good for you..it must be bliss now ...i hope your batteries never run flat...same to 'coilineil' and others with mobility difficulties.

...it's hilarious to watch them turned back at the departure gates with the plane in the background already pulling out.
I think really they don't care that much on being late...maybe they want to make a grand entrance..or just stubbornness..up to them..i always give them a false time to be there.
-
...they certainly are stubborn and will not debate in a sensible way..they reach their max stress level when cornered and resort to shouting, screaming so as others around feel sympathy towards them..one friend gave me some good advice too..just cut them some extra slack...or end it....i listened but i dont know if i can do that...Im going for compromise..weighted in my favour cause i know Im right in these incidents.

What is the Thai government???
...the idea of doing our 90 day at any 7/11 store was a great idea..nothing eventuated...after all you can pay for an air ticket/utility bills etc....and the other idea mooted several years ago..after third consecutive extension..go onto a 5 year extension..just show the funds each year.

Tracking back on 'Robert Grundy' in Thailand leads to an ad from 2011 in this magazine for http://pattayatraderonlinecom.siteprotect.net/nov-mag/pdf/PT-Nov11.pdf that gives away an email address robertg [at] hush.com that leads to https://www.google.co.uk/search?q="robertg%40hush.com"&oq="robertg%40hush.com"&aqs=chrome..69i57.5135j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 and then to a topic titled "low energy nuclear reactions to make gold from copper" http://goldrefiningforum.com/~goldrefi//phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=9518&start=30 where he complains about someone called Doctor Joe Champion because Dr Joe's method for making gold out of copper via nuclear reactions does not work
bizarrely looks a bit like the face of the body that was found - a photo I won't link to.....minds are off and racing.

Brilliant illogic. According to your pretzel logic the police don't need guns since they do not increase safety. Please put your money where your mouth is by putting a big sign in your yard letting every criminal know that you have opted not to have a gun in your house since it does not increase the safety of your family.
..first a fist, then a stick, then a bigger stick, then a knife, then a gun...natural progression...mines bigger than yours therefore Im stronger and more powerful ...hoping you won't dare take me on or else i will piss my pants..all about insecurity..IMO

Pray to a mollusk? a virus, or a bacteria maybe? perhaps soap scum in one's shower?

Can't help but thinking that whomever came up with this harebrained idea has just been having English lessons or can speak a bit of English. This isn't so much about alleviating traffic as it is an excuse for some high up to show off his English skills.
Anywho, back to nothing about the traffic changing. Nice flags, though. They'll have to go into the museum of "What were we thinking?".
..what floor do you reckon the flags will be displayed on.

Its a great photo and headline , but sadly the previous posts are right on the money in relation to Thailands Tourist industry and a crime wave just speeds up the downward spiral.

...the volunteers and rescue service do their best with what limited resources that are available..
Im sure the Thai government would appreciate greatly your extensive knowledge and skills..they will even give you a letter to allow you to do volunteer work with emergency services ie fire, police, emergency etc if you already have a RV/MV etc....eeeeehaaaah.
No, mate...They are bereft of knowledge and skills. Yes there are limited resources available, for volunteer rescue workers who usually turn up first at RTC's and other serious incidents. I tried to help at an RTC between KK and Korat once, and was told by the rescue mob that "not want farang. Thai can do." The obvious cervical spine injury they were extricating through the roof, by pulling him, would not have survived their treatment. Cowboys.
And yes I do have an extensive knowledge of these things, and the skills..27 years a city ambulance paramedic in Australia..Everything nasty that you could possibly imagine. I suppose we did have extensive drugs and fluids, but basic skills are the first priority.
No the Thai government will not let me volunteer while i am on a retirement extension, even if i wanted to..and I don';t.
You apologists who paint a rosy picture of everything here, really get up my nose sometimes. Unless you DO know what you're talking about, then think twice before attacking someone who does.
Nobody is attacking anyone except the alleged sex offender....and yes i do have extensive experience as an emergency worker..and yes you can do some approved volunteer work with a RV/MV and WP..i worked as a volunteer for 7 years here under these arrangements..so go knock on some doors and introduce yourself...so if you do not wish to do anything best follow the Thai Rescue Workers advice and keep out of it..up to you.
As frustrating as it can be, you are not going to change anything in a country that is not your own..still stop and render assistance..that is your moral obligation as a road user and someone interested in assisting the sick and injured..but be prepared for rebuttal.
