    Robin Hood is very good!

Is that a pub right next to a BTS?

Serving cider I believe. Place reminded me of a British pub was full of boys pretending to be men holding each others hands in the name of being lads. Rig workers sprang to mind. Thai pubs were much better

  2. Decent cafe on ekkamai called London cafe I think. Looked stable but times change not been there in at least 3 years but a more than decent English breakfast and a cup of tea. Heaven.

  3. Our lads 2 years old in March.

We spend 25k a month on all household stuffs rents cars petrol excursions and save 20k a month.

Insurances and long term plans are not accounted for in expenditure or above savings.

We eat well but we cook at home mon-Thursday.  3 days of cooking various meals and 4th day is a mash up of the last 3 days. Friday to Sunday we eat out but we skip restaurants and opt for parks and picnics and relaxed markets as child much more child friendly. Never gets boring for us. Park on a Sunday afternoon is my favourite time.

Clothes for the lad are sent from uk family but we also search Robinson for good promotions.  Babystone brand of cotton clothes 75% off for example.

We save every 20 and 50 baht for the lad it adds up to about 5k a month.

Kindergarten in 15 months. 2500 baht a month it's 25 metres from the house. It's a lovely place. All the injections from what I can see is about 12k a year for the first 2 years and unless I'm mistaken much lower thereafter.

Shop around for nappies you can save 30 baht a pack of buying  in bulk from a off the beaten track type of retailer. Sentosa is one near us who sells nappies 20-30 baht less than the well known shops. Milk too at 4 baht saving per 4 pack. Lad drinks 4 a day.

Eating in is great for us the big C sells all the sauces for kaoi soi and many other thai dishes and 2kg of chicken is just 150 baht so we're completely sold on this now. It sounds very boring and it is but it's thoroughly enjoyable.

I totally agree with you.  Kane's a bust flush and we're going down.

If by going down you mean underneath arsenal that's a dead cert. Kane best years ahead of him. I think not but I've been wrong before.

Fantom , obviously you do not recognize a good parent being that fantom had the intelligence to question a person about to directly inject drugs into his childs vein. The point is thats hes being a responsible parent .

Surely it would make more sense to know what is being injected before the injection?

There is no need to question it if you have the vaccine book supplied to all newborns and accounts for every injection upto 12 years old that is required or optional.

The pages at the back are in thai but the injections are listed in English codes too. Those same vaccines can be referenced worldwide. I just reached out to my family in the UK to double check each injection. I believe if you want the same mandatory injections as the UK would provide. Your costs upto 2 years old on those injections (approximately 10) will cost around 25k but they are not all mandatory here.

Well at least you  are consistent.

I think he'll have a goal drought and we'll get relegated.

Oh yes and he's another player we'll lose in the next transfer window.

You also forgot to ask when our stadium is going to be finished????

You also forgot to show your face after your arsenal forecast completely went sideways. Try to think before using the keypad. Kane is just a yard of it so far and the goals tally is shy compared to the last 2 seasons based on overall stats. and I'm not seeing any braces like previous seasons so I see a dip which may prove costly without the right support. Btw your stadium is a non starter discussion wise as it's at least a season behind schedule but I think that's BS too but we shall see but at least you can say you spent the last two seasons playing away from home.

  7. Interesting read and each to their own. I go to see a local pharmacist for any reason I can think of.  I just like to talk to them as they are a young family with a lot of good info. Schools etc. Both husband and wife are pharmacists live in the shophouse which they own and just brought the shop next door and renovated into 1 big shop. While family is a very happy close knit group of 5 in the house.

Both came from virtual poverty but their parents pushed them to education and they responded.

They have 2 on way to bilingual under 7 year old girls who attend a standard school, although well regarded.

I do not like the idea of moving the Mrs and near 2 year old to uk and touch wood I hope we never have to.

The lad will become bilingual at least and the digital age we are now in ensures he will be well upto speed where technology is concerned. I'd agree to an extent if the options were rural schools and localised bad habits were common but we chose wisely in terms of a location to live and I see value in that choice for his future and his mother but more than anything, instilling a good work ethic into the chap will surely provide the best chance for his future.

  8. Let's just hope kane starts properly banging them in cos you are doomed without his goals and when I say doomed I mean AFC will finish above you as they have a good strikeforce. Kane tally looks like it's dipped slightly compared to last two seasons. He also looks like an old man compared to just 2 years ago. Wondering if his career can sustain or maybe he's worth cashing in on at the end of this season.

  9. Just in case anyone is wondering.

SIM card destruction as it has some important data on it that can be used to implicate you in a crime. They were masked so maybe the SIM is next best thing to nab them.

Would show last dialled numbers, text messages and contact list and some other unheard of records.

Assuming these chaps were using non smartphones and this is reason why they tried to eat the sim, weird how they could not accomplish it.

You seem to have a problem reading and understanding the title of the thread R2D2. If you want to discuss City there's  a City thread.

Sorry I thought manu was referencing all manure from Manchester. Shame that you were not clearer in your choice of title. Just to be completely clear if you had put man Utd it would definitely be a Utd thread.

R2D2 be a good boy and stick to the thread will ya. If you want to post about FFP then this isn't the forum for that is it. Read the THREAD TITLE ( it's a clue) and have another go.

Nah it's a Manchester discussion and whilst UTD may be in decline the other Manchester club may as well be if the FFP issue gets treated correctly.

  12. As predicted arsenal overcame the locals and set a marker down letting the spuds know they are definitely in the top 4 hunt. Great match which I listened to as where I currently am is 5 mins from the Afc ground. Heard every roar for the goals

If you look at most of those advertorials they are posted by ThaiVisa sales not the advertiser. That is why they are closed since the advertiser would not be able to respond.

There are a few forum sponsors that have a username and can post replies.

It depends upon their agreement with ThaiVisa for advertising.

Not allowing a discussion just makes it cannon fodder though and you can't even gauge interests beyond views or maybe the advertisers own response rate. Much more value to be had than a closed for discussion advert.
