Yes he deserves more....no question about that.
Can Levy deliver? Wait and see.
I'm not convinced he signed up to 5 years without assurances on funds for the squad in the sense of new players. I think promises may have been broken already. 5 years does ensure levy can extract maximum value should madrid come knocking and we all know this is the Levy playbook.

I do think it is unnecessary to travel so far with young children in tow but I do worry about stuff like that and put it down to want versus need.

R2D2, retractable pitches are not new. Schalke's is probably the most wellknown - it retracts outside the stadium i believe so that the sun, wind and rain can get at it.
have a read, very interesting
https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news-archive-1/scx-to-supply-world-first-dividing-retractable-pitch-for-tottenham-hotspur-s-new-stadium/Tottenhams is a divided pitch. Says it's a world first so if that's the case they should have known the safety of this would impact the completion. Surely if they followed the schalke format the HSE would have signed off much earlier. That part that rises around the pitch to join the perimeter with pitch looks a death trap waiting to happen.

Sidestepping my comments eh ????
Our capacity was extended a couple of years back from 48k to 54k (south stand) and next phase is an increase to 61k (north stand).
Next up for Spurs? Surely its to break the long drought and win a trophy.
Next step for the emptihad- find fans that will cheer the CL anthem not boo it.

Retractable pitch eh. Very fancy but that in itself is bound to cause problems. Lifts are great until they break down.

If the pitch had not been in such a state maybe lamela could have equalised. Wonder how Spurs intend on managing this issue in the new stadium

It’s all part of the banter.
You will see how much they are not too bothered about winning later if they win this evening.
They are playing the Premiership Champions, it’s a massive game of course they want to win and will expect a performance to match
Too scared to believe. Offsets the disappointment and prepares them for the outcome I guess. Even at 3 nil down to Milan in the CL final I did not believe it was over. My younger brother was going mental at me at the time, youngsters eh!

The bookies make City a comfortable favourite.
0-2 is the preferred scoreline.
Bookies have been known to get it wrong of course.
I'm sure carmine and co are all banking that but there is no fun in that result. Been a while since a silly result happened and it is Monday night football the cold snap is also back so maybe a silly result is on the cards

What I'd like to see is a bizarre win with a bit of injustice sprinkled in. Nothing tastes worse than that kind of result.

Apologised because Poch got his knickers in a twist. Apparently City's management are bemused by Spurs reaction to "the Harry Kane"comment when it was pretty clear what Pep meant: HK is your main man. Seems you spurs fans are also upset.
If Spurs win i wouldn't expect anything less from you Ronnie.
you can bet your money on a brummie sticking the knife in to whichever team loses.
You'd lose. I want Spurs to win tonight big time. I'll be disappointed if they don't.

Today I came home from working and tried calling her, didn't answer, yet I can see she knew I was calling. Just discovered she's in Phuket (with that guy of course). She tells me she's always "working" and is on holiday with her friends, which is total BS...I ask her why she's acting so weird lately, what is going on? She just didn't answer and went offline...I seriously don't know how much more of that I can take...
It's over. Your 33 so time is still on your side. Truth of it is she sounds like a bitch. She's sent your kid packing and she's on holiday 24/7 by the sounds of it. So the first chance she gets she abandons your child. No way back from that. If the parents are decent and can do a job. Maybe focus on you and do a deal with them to send funds direct to them and tell the ex to sling it. Tell her your ATM card is broken same as her camera. She will understand.

I certainly agree with that sentiment ..... personally, I would have waited to get the full news story out of the way.... condolences are most appropriate after confirmation of death.
Agreed but I'm guessing when people are 6k miles away you feel a bit isolated where info is concerned and you utilise more heads than you have to build a better picture. Still unknown who the passengers were and I hear southgate was on the helicopter to the match!

Do we really need another thread on this tragic accident.
I think we do as it is not a very nice thread in the news section and a lot of negatives on there which I do not believe would occur in the footy forum amongst football fans.

It's not odd at all, it's completely normal in the circumstances.
Whatever, confirming 1 person seems very odd. Surely they know the number of people aboard. No mention of a pilot. All very normal yh.

So why do you need to know ? Presume, as it was a fireball the occupants would be fried and a bit hard to identify, and then relatives have to be notified first, when they are sure.
A passenger count confirmation is not the same as an identity/casualty list. It's an odd report.

I think all this speculation is a bit pointless and even distasteful. I mean, it seems very obvious what has happened. All those in the helicopter have been incinerated which makes identifying them particularly difficult. It will take time so just wait until that news comes out.
It's not distasteful. It's a very good question that seems extremely strange. News is circulating worldwide that the chairman is definitely deceased. So if that is clear why is there no other information on passengers or even an indication there were others on board. Pilot included. Odd reporting.

The lack of clarity on passengers suggests there is more to follow in this story. Seeing reports that the Leicester manager was seen boarding the flight. Twitter and bbc journalist.

It still doesn't make him a good person. I feel for his family, but he is no legend and I hope people remember him for who he was and not what kind of nice gestures he made. This is very Thai.
The good and great this guy did will far outweigh the bad, if any. If google is your fact Base you are simply choosing to believe it. That does not make it factual.

Most people understand there is a time and a place for most things and besmirching a man so soon after his death is definitely not the time to do it.

Seriously undervaluing the manager there. No manager of his quality would join Spurs under the current circumstances. I honestly think the only way out of this is for Spurs to sell kane to RM for 200m and all proceeds are given to transfers. Maybe that is the dark truth pochetino has mentioned recently.
Would you rather keep the manager or sell your best player and reinvest into 3 or 4 quality players and keep the manager.
