Believe from reports 1 casualty revealed. The chairman.
Saw a couple of posts suggesting southgate and puel were also aboard. Posts not reports so could be BS.

That first have was insipid. they were terrible. 85% possession, just <deleted> around with the ball. 1 shot on target.
You mean when dijk hit the post and Salah scored. Yh terrible that.

thought it was a bloody awful performance myself. we were pretty poor at breaking them down despite being the better team by a country mile and while we were never in danger of dropping points we didn't look convincing. but we won 4-1 while playing pretty poorly so i guess you take it and move along.
Try watching footy sober. Awful? Nah no where near just not as clinical in final 3rd against a compact defence. Patience paid off.

Just following this awful event in Leicester. On the news thread I see two reports suggesting Leicester manager was on the helicopter and southgate? Anyone else seeing anything like this in any reports. No offence intended either and if it's a nasty unwarranted rumour. I apologise

RIP to this man. Clearly earned his SRI - respect.

Have you ever built a house?
Yh and I did it in the projected time and within 10% of the planned budget.

Funny you should say that but he's round my gaff right now and the snow is definitely falling in all of the right places.
What a guy...totally unfazed by 500m quid of debt.
You would think he knows things you lot don't.
He seemed to know the completion date of the new stadium but he clearly did not. He thought he knew the ball park costs of the stadium but clearly, he does not.

Interesting. Let's hope the Nike money will tide them over for a while. I reckon there's milk rations being enforced in the Levy household right now.

I see that <deleted> Merson gobbing off again in his newspaper column saying Salah looks unhappy and wants out to Real Madrid.
He couldn’t of written it on a worse day.
Bit of a mad comment really. Play for madrid who are completely in tatters at present and work under a different manager every other season if the manager is lucky.
-
Decent performance but could and should have put them to bed in the first half.
Great to see the main man Salah back in the groove.

Tricky match at Leicester later.
Injury list growing. Just as well we spent big but already lost three of them Yarm , plastic Jack and Sanchez and now Obiang out as well as the already Lanzini, Reid and Carroll (latest set back, split ends).
Why we let Kouyate leave I’ll never now. Especially to bring in injury prone replacements Sort of player we need now
Snodgrass will come in. Liked what Pellegrini had to say about him and his spot on attitude. Shows on the pitch when he’s had the chance and already a fans favourite. Whether he can cut it at this level regularly to e will tell but he should get a run now.
Lol plastic Jack.

Early days, however they paid a world ish record for a an absolute class LEFT winger and <deleted> do they do.. play him predominantly @rhs... whist ronnie was guv.. sort u could see it ISH but to STILL do it is imo criminally stupid i know isco ect ect ... however one things 4 sure one way or the other real madrid WILL improve.
Not sure about that at all. Madrid look awful and they have an aging squad and the players there are not used to playing as main men after years of being outshone by CR7 so I don't expect them to improve at all and teams can smell the deficiency in that team now so it's not going to be an easy fix. 3rd in La Liga this season I reckon. So that's a fail and no way is there a CL semi in that team.

The bodyguard series aired on Netflix this week I spotted it last night and stayed up till 6am binging the first 5 episodes.
Very enjoyable but perhaps a little bit obvious at times and could have been a bit more of a mystery in places.
Not sure the choice of a political angle was a good one either.

Oh so he is Bolton.
I went to Bolton 0 United 6 at Burnden Park back in the day. Cantona, Cole and I believe even Jordi Cruyff among the scorers ????
EDIT: Looking it up.. not Cantona or Cruyff but Scholes and Beckham did score... memory is going a bit.
And this geezers not even 40

You are quite right Rick. Time passes and we can forget. Clubs that have played top flight since 1960 include; L Orient, Oxford, Northampton, Carlisle and Luton. not sure about Grimsby; I'll look that up.
Luton were a decent team whilst in the top flight. Remember the FA cup semi when they knocked out Norwich who would have been the first 3rd flight team to reach the final.
But back to Spurs for a moment. I was at WHL in 1960 when a young guy playing for Chelsea scored in a 0-1 victory. His name; Jimmy Greaves. Went on to be perhaps the greatest forward England ever had. He went to Italy and then on to Spurs. His first 5 metres pace was exceptional. Only matched since by Gary Lineker (before his sickness). It's what made him special. A racehorse amongst carthorses. He - in my opinion - did as much as any footballer to change the way attacking football was played in England.
When I think of that team Luton in the top flight.
I think of iain dowie playing.
I had a few pro set cards back in the day!

Those usual Suspects should address themselves and take footy banter in a nice manner as it is a Forum. where difference of opinion. is always on the cards.
And
not hand to hand combat. Many thks for reading.
A good evening to all
OK ok but these lads have been in the gutter for so long they actually are on top of the world right now and theye just need another semi final to cheer about and it's job done.
