In all reality who is to know how many hostages have perished as a result of IDF attacks . No idea but then we also do not know how many were murdered by Hamas. But the point of my post was hope to getting more out alive.

Back on topic: Keeping hostages in civilian buildings is a war crime. - It turns the buildings into legitimate military targets. - It places all the civilians around them at severe danger. - Any civilian involved in keeping the hostages is not a civilian.

Since when did it bode well for the hostages? Hamas again refused the last deal. Their hope was lost, 4 have been rescued, their hope is back.
