You missed the update. Have a great day! Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will announce the largest-ever military aid package to Ukraine from the UK on his visit to Poland today. The £500 million additional funding announced today – which takes us to £3 billion in UK military aid for Ukraine this financial year – will be used to rapidly deliver urgently-needed ammunition, air defence, drones and engineering support. The drones will be procured in the UK and the funds will support a scale-up in domestic defence supply chains. The Ministry of Defence will also send our largest-ever single package of equipment from the UK, designed to help push back the Russian invasion on land, sea and air. https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/britain-to-announce-its-largest-ever-aid-package-to-ukraine/

Stands to reason, there indeed needs to be real progress in almost every aspect of neutrality. White House wants ‘real progress’ before US restores UNRWA funding “In terms of our funding of UNRWA, that is still suspended. We’re gonna have to see real progress here before that gets changed,” Kirby says. Many donor countries have resumed funding since Israel’s accusations, including Sweden, Canada, Japan, the EU and France — while others, including the United States and Britain — have continued to hold out.“We welcome the results of this report and strongly support the recommendations in the report,” Kirby says, noting that the United States also faced legal constraints in restarting its funding. Congress passed a bill signed into law by President Joe Biden last month that blocks US funding until March 2025. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/white-house-wants-real-progress-before-us-restores-unrwa-funding/

If you can believe it! They don't even know how many hostages are alive. Hamas says Gaza death toll reaches 34,183 https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/hamas-says-gaza-death-toll-reaches-34183/ -
Colonna stressed that U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appointed the independent review panel to review UNRWA’s neutrality — not to investigate Israeli allegations that 12 UNRWA staffers participated in the Oct. 7 attacks. Guterres ordered the U.N. internal watchdog, the Office of Internal Oversight Services, known as OIOS, to conduct a separate investigation into those Israeli allegations. “It is a separate mission. And it is not in our mandate,” Colonna said. She also said it is not surprising that Israel did not provide evidence of its allegations to the refugee agency “because it doesn’t owe this evidence during the investigation to UNRWA but to the OIOS.” In a wide-ranging 48-page report released Monday, the independent panel said UNRWA has “robust” procedures to uphold the U.N. principle of neutrality, but it cited serious gaps in implementation, including staff publicly expressing political views, textbooks used in schools the agency runs with “problematic content” and staff unions disrupting operations. It makes 50 recommendations to improve UNRWA’s neutrality. https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-unrwa-united-nations-28a63ddef23efdc4b050b0bcbdb587ff Full report pdf download link https://www.un.org/sites/un2.un.org/files/2024/04/unrwa_independent_review_on_neutrality.pdf

Link to where I would change my argument? There is nothing about it I would change, the facts remain the same and the reason the Met apologized remain the same. You don't know how edited it was you never watched it. You don't know the 8 min clip I posted, you never watched it. You don't know the Sky News original, you never watch it.

"Rishi Sunak was "appalled" by the way police treated a Jewish man during a pro-Palestinian demonstration in London, a Downing Street source has said. Downing Street said the prime minister had seen the original footage of what happened and was "appalled as everyone else by the officer calling Mr Falter 'openly Jewish'"."

This was on the cards eventually I guess. Qatar has had enough of them hopefully. Hamas leaders said looking at leaving Qatar amid growing pressure in hostage talks Hamas’s political chiefs are exploring moving their base of operations out of Qatar, The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday, as the Gulf state faces increasing pressure over its influence with the terror group in indirect hostage-for-truce negotiations with Israel. Citing Arab officials, the report said Hamas has recently contacted two regional countries about having its leaders live there, one of which is Oman. The outlet noted that if Hamas leaders were to leave Doha, it could be more difficult for negotiations to be held with the terror group. https://www.timesofisrael.com/hamas-leaders-said-looking-at-leaving-qatar-amid-growing-pressure-in-hostage-talks/ -
Its not about what you can find, the police chief says otherwise. Sir Mark replied: “I’m not disputing that. “It’s very clear Jewish communities in London are traumatised and upset and sometimes fearful, based on events that happened overseas and the increasing hate crime in London. And that’s an awful place for us to be as a capital city, and we are doing everything we can do to tackle that.” https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/mark-rowley-london-jews-sadiq-khan-london-assembly-b2440513.html
