  1. Pure scaremongering by Tom, 14,000 babies could die within 48 hours. Believe that you believe in fairies and no its not just 5 trucks of aid The United Nations has received permission from Israel for about 100 more emergency aid trucks to enter Gaza https://www.rte.ie/news/middle-east/2025/0520/1513625-israel-gaza/
  2. Why are you placing conditions on the release of hostages? That's just parroting Hamas, why are you doing that? Vile
  3. Wrong, Hamas had been controlling the aid and selling it on for profit. This has been discussed numerous times in the appropriate topics. Under Article 23 of the Geneva Convention, Israel is not required to allow aid into Gaza if it’s being diverted—which we’ve all seen Hamas do repeatedly on video. This isn’t a debate. Israel is acting within international law.
  4. My post is about the fishermen. Why swear? Fisherman, their families and the communities have rights too you know.
  5. How many Hamas command centers did they have in that Qatar funded hospital there? Its a pity Hamas does not do the right thing to end the war, 5th time in a week now. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has renewed his call for Hamas to step down, disarm, and hand over their weapons to the Palestinian Authority—his fifth such call in just one week. https://x.com/Ostrov_A/status/1924729193658527754
  6. If its such a good deal why is Starmer giving £360 million investment into coastal communities to help help soften the blow? The deal Johnson did would have finished in 2028, its now in place till 2038! You need to convince real fishermen, fishing communities and fishing bodies, they are not as easily suckered in, its their livelihood's. Elspeth Macdonald, chief executive of the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation, was also critical, saying: “This deal is a horror show for Scottish fishermen, far worse than Boris Johnson’s botched Brexit agreement. “It is clear that Sir Keir Starmer made the whole deal on the backs of our fishermen and coastal communities, granting EU vessels 12 years of continuous access to UK waters at the last minute in order secure other objectives. “This highlights the total indifference of the British political establishment to the interests of our fishing sector, with Sir Keir becoming the third prime minister after Edward Heath and (Boris) Johnson to betray the industry.” https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/fishing-deal-12-years-european-union-british-waters-starmer-b1228525.html https://thefishingdaily.com/uk-fishing-industry-news-news/disaster-for-uk-fishermen-as-labour-government-sells-out-fishing/
  7. Quite ironic that the actual Gazans are protesting against Hamas though don't you think? While the pro Hamas crowds in the West remain quiet about who's really protesting there. I also suspect you're going to be very quiet and not respond to this fact. The largest anti-Hamas protest ever took place today in Gaza. Hundreds of thousands marched and blamed Hamas for the war. “We want to live. Hamas OUT!”
  8. Lets see how this worked out for those red clad Hamas supporters.............. Massive protest won't change Dutch government's Israel policy: Foreign Min. spokesperson https://nltimes.nl/2025/05/19/massive-protest-wont-change-dutch-governments-israel-policy-foreign-min-spokesperson "Wilders criticized the protesters at the start of the demonstration, calling them confused on X. “Today, a demonstration against Israel + for Hamas. Thousands of confused people are drawing a red line. I am also drawing a red line. Against terror and the starvation of their own population by Hamas, and for maximum destruction of their murderous infrastructure. And for Israel,” Wilders, an avid supporter of Benjamin Netanyahu’s regime, said on X."
  9. and International journalists. This one was caught sitting on Sinwar's chair just after the drone killed him..............lol
  10. Wow, 6 posts in a you get Trump in.....swerve ball, this is about the BBC hiring a terrorist Hamas presenter. Not Trump or the Whitehouse
  11. Bye then, shut the door on the way out................ Gary Lineker is expected to announce that he is leaving the BBC on Sunday May 25 and will not front its 2026 World Cup coverage after the controversy over an antisemitic social media post, it has emerged. The former footballer turned pundit is set to leave by mutual agreement after 26 years with his final Match of the Day next Sunday, The Sun reported. A source at the BBC told The Times that Lineker’s position was seen as “untenable”. The former England striker had been due to host the BBC’s coverage of the 2026 World Cup in the US, Canada and Mexico. https://archive.ph/7cgNP#selection-1545.0-1557.118
  12. The UN plan............lol. Aid has started and it will soon be taken over by the new body Head of nascent Gaza aid org welcomes Israeli aid resumption as ‘important interim step’ The head of a new body created under an Israeli-American plan to change the way humanitarian aid is distributed in Gaza welcomes the Israeli announcement that it will allow the immediate resumption of aid into the territory. Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) Executive Director Jake Wood says in a statement that the decision is “consistent with the commitment made to us to serve as a bridging mechanism until the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is fully operational. Swift implementation is essential — needs on the ground are urgent, and there is no time to lose. We are also grateful to the Trump Administration for its support in advancing this effort.” https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/head-of-nascent-gaza-aid-org-welcomes-israeli-aid-resumption-as-important-interim-step/
  13. Then if you read it you would know I never claimed there were journalists being held. This is what they do to their own journalists let alone what they would do to International ones. Watchdog: Gazan reporters ‘intimidated, threatened, assaulted by Hamas’ Committee to Protect Journalists says phenomenon ‘vastly underreported’ due to reporters’ fears of coming forward; journalists self-censoring rather than reporting on dissent https://www.timesofisrael.com/watchdog-gazan-reporters-face-beatings-threats-when-covering-anti-hamas-rallies/ Try getting back on topic.
  14. Oh look, always the negative, denial and disbelief During his first-ever meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Hassan al-Shaibani in Turkey earlier today, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio welcomed what he characterized as “the Syrian government’s calls for peace with Israel,” the State Department says. Rubio appeared to be referring to comments a senior Syrian official made during an interview with the Kan public broadcaster yesterday where he said that Damascus is open to peace with everyone in the region, without exceptions. US President Donald Trump said after meeting Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa yesterday that the latter indicated willingness to join the Abraham Accords once they are “straightened out,” adding “they have a lot of work to do” before that happens. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/meeting-syrian-fm-rubio-welcomes-damascus-calls-for-peace-with-israel/
  15. Israel's new offensive has brought Hamas to the negotiating tables again this time with no pre conditions. Israel, Hamas say hostage-ceasefire talks renewed after IDF initiates major new offensive Terror group says negotiations in Qatar held ‘without preconditions’; Israel’s Katz argues Gaza op brought Hamas to table; teams said discussing 2-month truce with US involvement. A new round of negotiations for a Gaza ceasefire and hostage deal between Hamas and Israel began in Qatar on Saturday after the Israeli military launched its new expanded offensive in the Gaza Strip, according to both Israeli and Hamas officials. https://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-hamas-say-gaza-talks-renewed-after-idf-initiates-major-new-offensive/ Hamas proposes releasing some hostages in fresh talks after new Israel offensive Hamas has proposed releasing more hostages under a new Gaza ceasefire deal, after new negotiations were held on Saturday. The talks began hours after Israel's military launched a major new offensive in the Gaza Strip. Hamas has agreed to release nine hostages in exchange for a 60-day truce and Israel releasing Palestinian prisoners, a Palestinian official told the BBC. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cd7geg3lvz1o
  16. Its pretty amazing, even the BBC had to begrudgingly touch on it, well in their own special bias way. Trump's frantic week of peace brokering hints at what he really wants "There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen." So supposedly said the Russian revolutionary leader Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. The diplomatic whirlwind that has surrounded US President Donald Trump this week suggests the old Bolshevik might have been onto something. For the protectionist president, who promises always to put America First, has in recent days instead been busy bestriding the world stage. He and his team have done business deals in the Gulf; lifted sanctions on Syria; negotiated the release of a US citizen held by Hamas; ended military strikes on Houthi fighters in Yemen; slashed American tariffs on China; ordered Ukraine to hold talks with Russia in Turkey; continued quiet negotiations with Iran over a nuclear deal; and even claimed responsibility for brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan... https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/clyv789ejgxo
  17. Un lost all credibility a long time ago even before its staff were discovered holding hostages, now even refusing to help the US in its aid distribution in Gaza. UN will not take part in US-backed aid effort in Gaza The United Nations said on Thursday it will not take part in a U.S.-backed humanitarian operation in Gaza because it is not impartial, neutral or independent, while Israel pledged to facilitate the effort without being involved in aid deliveries. "This particular distribution plan does not accord with our basic principles, including those of impartiality, neutrality, independence, and we will not be participating in this," deputy U.N. spokesperson Farhan Haq told reporters on Thursday. https://www.reuters.com/world/un-will-not-take-part-us-backed-aid-effort-gaza-2025-05-15/
  18. If that's how you want to put it. After 2 home grown attempts on Trumps life, one of which was nearly successful and the FBI stopping an Iranian attempt those hurty numbers can make people jumpy. Or do you think real murder attempts do not leave impressionable reactions?
  19. So you've just confirmed MAGA can have differing opinions. Great. I'm sure you want to see this come to a conclusion, with Comey having already been interviewed by the Secret Service I am sure we'll all hear something or other soon. Secret Service Questions Comey Over Social Media Post About Trump https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/16/us/politics/secret-service-comey-social-media-trump.html
  20. So we have Merriam-Webster and Oxford English showing a different meaning than the one touted by RW posters. That was my point. Then you have no point because its not only RW posters providing links to other meanings and those links are not on right wing sites. What is evident is that it has many different meanings and has also been used as mob slang for assassinations
  21. Example of the BBC misrepresenting the context and full statement by Marco Rubio. No excuse for this but then if you look at the authors and how they've headlined one small snippet................. US 'troubled' by humanitarian situation in Gaza, Rubio tells BBC The top US diplomat Marco Rubio has said the US is "troubled" by the humanitarian situation in Gaza. His comments came as at least 114 Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes on Thursday, health officials said. Asked by the BBC if the Trump administration remained fully behind the nature of Israel's military action given the scale of the recent Israeli attacks and its bombing of hospitals, he once again called on Hamas to surrender and release hostages and said there could be no peace so long as the group exists. "That said, we're not immune or in any way insensitive to the suffering of the people of Gaza, and I know that there's opportunities here to provide aid for them," he said. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4gewwg1wlvo What he actually said: SECRETARY RUBIO: Well, let me just say: I spoke to the prime minister today, of Israel. I know the President has been in contact with him earlier this week. The President talked about this in a speech the other day that the people of Gaza deserve a better future than what they’ve had under Hamas. We think that the elimination of Hamas is what achieves peace. We’re troubled by the humanitarian situation there. Both the Israelis with American backing and support have offered a plan to deliver aid that doesn’t get diverted or stolen by Hamas. I’ve heard criticisms of that plan. We’re open to an alternative if someone has a better one, but it – we are for all the aid we can get without the people – without Hamas being able to steal it from people. But I don’t think – I think all of us would love to see an enduring end to this conflict, which, by the way, would end immediately if Hamas were to surrender. They’re a terrorist group. They’re a group that kidnapped, raped, murdered innocent people that had nothing to do with the war. And as long as they exist and they’re around, you’re not going to have peace. They – this is not a peaceful group. This is a group that deliberately on October 7th committed horrifying crimes which has triggered this conflict. That said, we’re not immune or in any way insensitive to the suffering of the people of Gaza, and I know that there’s opportunities here to provide aid for them. There’s a plan out there that’s been offered, that’s been criticized by some, but it allows people to get aid without Hamas stealing it. And we’ll continue to work towards that in ways that we think are constructive and productive. https://www.state.gov/secretary-of-state-marco-rubio-remarks-to-the-press-4/
  22. More facts for you, the parade was always secluded. US Army 250th Anniversary Parade The United States Army 250th Anniversary Parade is scheduled to take place on June 14, 2025, in Washington, D.C., United States, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States Army, the oldest of the six branches of the United States Armed Forces.[1] The parade will also celebrate veterans and active-duty service members, and coincide with President Donald Trump's 79th birthday.[2] The parade is part of the celebrations of United States Semiquincentennial. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Armed_Forces
  23. Misinformation, the US army was always going to celebrate that period anyway. Fort Leonard Wood to celebrate Army’s 250th birthday https://www.army.mil/article/285539/fort_leonard_wood_to_celebrate_armys_250th_birthday Countdown to Army’s 250th birthday begins https://www.legion.org/information-center/news/honor/2025/april/countdown-to-armys-250th-birthday-begins It just happens to be on the same day as Trump so its not being done especially for him
