Golden Triangle

Strange, I've been out of the house twice I think, that's since the middle of February, both times for badly needed dental work, we ( me & the mrs ) watch the local news for an hour in the morning, then the TV goes off until sometime in the evening when I will watch movies or favourite TV series, her indoors watches her movies, most shopping is done online, most Bill's are paid via apps or via ATM transfer. During the day I listen to radio 2 in the UK, do what's needed indoors cooking cleaning, catch up on here to see what lunacy is going on around the country, talk with friends & family either on the phone or via messenger, and I personally feel fine, not depressed, frustrated or angry about anything. If you have an internet TV you can usually find a half decent or your favourite radio station to listen to, I have an internet TV & a smart speaker so can listen to many UK radio stations. I hope everyone stays safe & healthy and gets jabbed as soon as you can. ????

Like the video, I get my first jab this week, just gotta get the 2nd one organised but need to desperately need to sort the mrs out, it all looks good, can't wait to have a break down there ????????????????

I live out on the Darkside of Pattaya, I have 16 years history of Thailand, 10 actually living here, before I moved here I had already visited many places, mainly up country, visiting friends & basically having a good time away from sin city, myself & the mrs have been as far North, South, East & West as one can go, and all places inbetween, I think we have done in excess of 15,000 km driving around the country. One just needs the wheels & want, the want to see the real country on a daily basis, not the BS that is Walking St Pattaya, I rarely go into town now except for shopping, there are some truly stunning restaurants around the lake, just waiting for them to open again with a full service & me & the mrs have both been double jabbed.

There are plenty of stupid landlords in Thailand, it would appear that they are happy to receive no income than face the indignity (face) of a reduced rent - stupid is as stupid does ????

I am going to Samithivej hospital for my 1st AZ jab next week w/c 9/8/21 the very nice lady I spoke to ( she's in charge of the international department ) informed me that they only use AZ vaccine, so fingers crossed both doses will be AZ ????????????????

I personally don't see spidermike007's post as baseless, a slight stretch of a fertile imagination maybe, however, there are more than a multitude of businesses that have gone belly up & this virus isn't finished with us yet, the figures get worse day by day, everyday more people are chucked onto the scrapheap of life through no fault of their own. No one wants to see this country suffer, but the current leadership ( or lack of ) have inflicted this on their countrymen & women but profess to love them & want to help them, well they could have done that by banning interprovincial travel back in April for Songkran, or preventing their political mates going to dodgy nightclubs in Thonglor, buying quality vaccines, not some Sino rubbish that they were all getting a backhander from CP everytime they ordered a few million jabs, not proven but highly suspected by a very large majority of people. So although I would love to share your optimism I'm afraid I can't, and as the news today and everyday proves, humans are a very selfish animal, many think that the rules don't apply to them, that this is just a flu, and while that mindset exists this pandemic will continue unabated, I don't want to have an argument or disagreement with you, I generally agree with a lot of what you say, I'm just calling it as I see it, I haven't really been out of the house since minor surgery on Feb 17th, I could do with a change of scenery, I might get that next week when I get my first AZ vaccine ????

And just how long until this is in the rearview mirror ? It ain't gonna be this year or next year that's for sure.

Very good to see & hear, it's long overdue for the courts & other powers start eroding Mr Hilter's ( Monty Python reference ???? ) powers, I have a feeling that certain sections of the judiciary and other governing bodies & are more than a little miffed at this fools shenanigans. Hooray ????.

Have a look at Korat Chef, looks like they deliver and closer to you than BKK or Pattaya, I have a friend who stocks up there everytime he does his 90 days in Korat, he said their pies & stuff are all good, ????
