When I met my wife she told me if I ever cheated on her she’d cut my d*ck off. She wasn’t smiling when she said it. I’m not calling her bluff.

Why do some countries not follow the advice of the WHO? They also said that the deadly rate of corona is 0.13% which is the same as a normal virus.....
So who's crazy now?
Because the WHO has been wrong on almost everything concerning the virus which is why the US pulled out of that organization. The WHO is in bed with China and protected them when it came out that China released it.

Sucks, but COVID screwed up a lot for everyone. No sympathy here. It’s life, deal with it. Not to mention Thailand is not your country no matter how many houses, cars, friends, or thai girlfriends you have there. It’s their rules, period. Expats seem so entitled sometimes. If you don’t like it, stay in the UK. That’s your country.

Reuters is nothing but left wing propaganda with a liberal spin on everything. TV must be run by lefties too, for them to be posting shiat like this. lol I wonder what kind of triggered spin they’ll put on it when Trump wins re-election. Oh yeah, we’re all racist. Bahahahaha

I find it incredibly narrow-minded to insinuate that expats that live in Thailand are only here for bar girls. I believe most farang are not sexpats, but I will concede there are many that ARE here for that.

If any western society did that, they’d be labeled bigoted, racist, and xenophobic. And yet crickets about Thailand and the other countries that do it.

Thailand will not open its borders for every nation. The number of cases in India and Russia are increasing every day, in the UK they are still high, also in the US and what will happen in Europe after many countries allow to travel we will see in a few weeks.
The US states are opening up. Cases are declining. The curve is flattened. Only the state’s Democrat Governors are resisting Trump’s declaration to open up. It’s all political. There is no reason the US should be excluded from traveling to Thailand on July 1.

I don’t understand this phenomenon in Thailand of throwing people off balconies or jumping off balconies. It’s prevalent here and I don’t see it happening in any other country. Not like it does here. So weird.

Guns are our culture and why we have freedom. Unless the liberals have their way at election time and then I guess we’ll be puppets of the government like everyone else. Nothing wrong with law abiding citizens owning guns. They’re quit fun to shoot. You don’t have to have mental problems to enjoy them.

Most Thai ppl support and understand the emergency. Just look around how positively everybody wears a mask and wash hands. There is no "boot on the throats of people". We leave that hyperbolic language better for the usa...
Agreed. Here in Michigan this radical lefty of a governor is using draconian lockdown orders as bad as Thailand’s. Probably only until election and the economy officially tanks, though.

That must mean Soi cowboy business is down as well. Poor families in Issan will be hurting with no money coming back from Bangkok.

Many men who identify as "st8" come to Thailand to experience LB sex, and retain the self delusion they are heterosexual, do it away from home and family
It’s a fetish, not an orientation. If they were gay they’d want men that look like men. Just saying, it’s not as clear cut as them being gay. Plenty of gay men to be with that don’t look like women. I don’t get it but I don’t get a foot fetish either.

When I see the word “progressive” in the name of a party it sends a red flag up to me. ProgressIves in the US are trying to ruin the country with their unAmerican policies and socialist open border agenda. Hopefully another party better than this one will come along and end military rule but not every party is good for the country. Be careful what you wish for.

Renting is money down the drain. If one is a drifter, then rent, I am not. I have been in my house for 12+ years, the land it is built on is now worth more than what I paid for the land AND the house. If I wanted to sell it, farangs would fight over it...????️...????
I am not Thai, I would have no problem buying a secondhand house if it met our criteria. My farang friend is an estate agent where I live, he sells secondhand houses...????
Differing opinions. I think it’s foolish to buy anything in Thailand since renting is so cheap and you can move in an instant. You never know how the government will change and you might have to get out fast. We don’t live here. We’re merely guests.

My wife was 36 and I was 54 when we met through a mutual friend in Bangkok where she worked in an Italian restaurant. I thought an 18 year difference was a lot. But now that we’ve been married for several years I think she’s probably the mature one in the relationship, not me. Our age difference never crosses my mind anymore and since she’s in her 40s now, no one else brings it up either. Good luck to you.

Are you serious? How am I bashing Thailand? Now two gunmen shooting indiscriminately at locals in the past week. This country has never had to deal with this sort of Western influenced behaviour before now.
Western influenced behavior? You think people are just shooting other people indiscriminately every day in the west? People that kill other people are deranged, mentally ill, it’s not a “behavior”.

It’s their country. They make the rules. I’ve never seen so many tourists to one country that seem so entitled, like how dare you even think about not letting me in. They really don’t have to do squat for you. Just be thankful you do get to come visit sometimes. It’s teally not your right no matter how entitled you may feel to be able to come and go at will. Just a reality check there.

Reasons not to cheat on your wife!
in Marriage and Divorce
Posted
She has no plans to do it, the plans would be mine to get it done to myself if I cheat. Big difference. I’ve done a little research and it’s not uncommon in Southeast Asia including Philippines for some women to do this to unfaithful spouses. I’m not sure if she really would or not, but I don’t plan to cheat so it doesn’t matter. If you think you might cheat, then like you say, better make her your ex.
