  1. Zero deaths. Fact. Not severe. Fact. Those at risk should be careful. Fact. Why should I be ashamed of facts?
  2. As I have said to you before reality is not an agenda. Reality is, as of now, there have been ZERO deaths directrly attributed to XBB.1.16. No agenda mate just rationalty. Zero deaths out of a global population of >8,000,000,000 people so far. p.s. You don't think the Earth is flat do you?
  3. Why stick to one vice my friend? Of course a vice is a religious thing so just ignore that, stick to your moral principles and enjoy life.
  4. How many dead from XBB.1.16? How many in ICU from XBB.1.16? How many being intubated from XBB.1.16? Is XBB.1.16 a variant of concern? It's Omicron. It's contagious. People will get it BUT will it kill them? Will it make them critically ill? Will they be in ICU? Will they need to be intubated? A small minority with comorbities and age maybe but so far no one has died from XBB.1.16.
  5. "NO conclusive study onj nicotine without the tabacco or additives" are you serious? We are talking about smoking. Mate nicotine sulphate is a pesticide but we're not talking about that. It's about vaping and how this might help people give up smoking cigarettes that contain nicotine (addictive) with over 4000 chemicals and possibley >60 carcinogens found it (cigarette). Which ever way you try to spin this NICOTINE IS ADDICTIVE. The links I shared are academic papers. I'm not sure if you know about Google Scholar but it seems you don't. It is part of the Google platform where you can find scholarly/academic papers such as the ones I posted. The ones that state nictotine is addictive. If you think you know more than the people doing the research and submitting papers well that's entirely up to you. Ahhhh! I need a joint and a cig and a nice cold beer. By the way please show me anything that says it's not nicotine that's addictive in cigs but it's the additives from a formal academic paper which has been submitted. This is from the WHO. "Nicotine contained in tobacco is highly addictive" https://www.who.int/health-topics/tobacco#tab=tab_1
  6. You can get juice that does not have nictotine and you can juice that does have nicotine to varying degrees of strength. People who have gotten off of cigs use nicotine juice because they're addicted but they are no longer inhaling the carcnogins found in cigarettes.
  7. Yeh sure. "The pharmacokinetic properties of nicotine, or the way it is processed by the body, contribute to its addictiveness." "Withdrawal occurs as a result of dependence, when the body becomes used to having the drug in the system. Being without nicotine for too long can cause a regular user to experience irritability, craving, depression, anxiety, cognitive and attention deficits, sleep disturbances, and increased appetite. These withdrawal symptoms may begin within a few hours after the last cigarette, quickly driving people back to tobacco use." https://nida.nih.gov/publications/research-reports/tobacco-nicotine-e-cigarettes/nicotine-addictive "Nicotine is a highly addictive chemical found in cigarettes, chewing tobacco and vaping products. Nicotine is the main reason why it is so hard to quit smoking." https://www.hss.gov.nt.ca/en/services/health-effects-tobacco/nicotine-it’s-why-smoking-so-addictive "Nicotine has been proven to be as addictive as cocaine and heroin and may even be more addictive." https://www.ucsfhealth.org/conditions/nicotine-dependence ETC, ETC, ETC. To say 'nonsense..nicotine isnt addictive" is just ludicrous.
  8. Interesting comment considering it takes 5 hours to fly from one side of the country to the other and about 4.5 hrs from top to bottom.
  9. Absolutely correct. So far one person has died with, not from XBB.1.16. Due to the infectious nature of Omicron this number is sure to rise but there is no evidence so far to suggest that it will be from XBB.1.16 rather than with XBB.1.16. Basically there have been no deaths directly attributed to XBB.1.16 as the cause so far. Did XBB.1.16 contribute to the death of the elderly gentalman. Possibly but this has not been explicity stated.
  10. Interesting comment or should I say conjecture. It obviously is not known about the long term effects, if any, of vaping so your comment is pure speculation.
  11. Bit of an old story now. This happened pre 17th of this month. "The dead person was an elderly foreigner with underlying health conditions. His death, therefore, may not directly reflect the severity of this subvariant but rather its impact on other risk factors," Supakit said. https://www.ndtv.com/feature/thailand-reports-worlds-first-death-from-new-covid-variant-arcturus-3967852 So this old fella was the 1st. Yet to see anything about the 2nd. All a bit of a storm in a teacup.
  12. I think a generation of zombies is already being created
  13. ????2 posts I belive. Posts that said it's hot now and then with the build up to the wet season it will be hot and humid. I belive I used # and n a bit and obviously in a type size too big. My apologies. I will keep my gibberish in a smaller type size from now on.
  14. I've said once and I'll say it again. You just can't make this stuff up. It's pretty normal weather for this time of year and the bottom story is based on AccuWeather. I gave up on them years ago when every time there was a huge storm AccuWeather was showing it was sunny.
  15. Mate I agree. As I say heat wave or not it's hot. Should keep going like this for a few weeks or more. Out of interest this is how it's defined in AUS. The Bureau of Meteorology defines a heatwave as three or more days in a row when both daytime and night-time temperatures are unusually high—in relation to the local long-term climate and the recent past. There is no single temperature threshold for a heatwave in Australia. Ok guess it's not unusually high here. About normal for this time of year. Hot which I think is quite strange considering it's the HOT SEASON.????
  16. Yep. The hot season started a bit late, the winds were still predominantly NW but I think the seasons have changed. Pollution will decrease and heat will increase, actuallty already has. Last 3 days have been very hot. Pretty much all of next week is going to be hot.
  17. I think you'll find what classifies as a heat wave depends on the countries definition.
  18. Famous he is. A famous crim and a famous fool. Seems to have gone completly mad. "He was then confronted by an unidentified cannabis seller who asked him to stop his efforts, with the seller stating that smoking cannabis was better than being addicted to Yaba (speed pills)." Nice one. ???? Maybe it's digging into his profits. "He also showed alleged proof of an unidentified youth buying cannabis buds from an unnamed cannabis shop."???? Well there you go. You could sentence a person to death on that evidence.
  19. Common I know people are drunk when they play Hi-Lo (great game absolutely love it) but you've got to be kidding. No one picked up that something odd was happening to the dice for forty years? You just can't make this stuff up.
  20. Rather odd how you use this quote and not this one from the same article. "Front-line physicians said that severe cases of covid have plummeted from the virus’s peak in 2021, when the CDC said more than 3,000 people daily died of covid, but that infections remain a threat to vulnerable populations — and occasionally to otherwise healthy people." https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2023/04/16/covid-deaths-per-day/ The evidence is there about Omicron but you just refuse to see that overall it's not severe for the majority of people. There are none so blind as those who will not see.
  21. That was reported yesterday but happened before the 17th according to the article. No reports of any more since globally from what I've seen.
  22. Feels ##################################n hot to me and I'm an Aussie.
