Thailand’s Digital Minister Seeking Court Order to Shut Down Facebook over Fake Ads and Scams
This aint about FB. This is about information control. As for it being a caretaker govt the next govt will be pretty much the same. A junta govt. PT are not seperate from the junta. They are now part of it.

Srettha says he had to eat his words so Pheu Thai can form a government
I doubt very, very much the treachery will be forgotten or forgiven. "You make your bed" as they say and PT's bed is now full of their sworn enemies.

Close.

Most Senators Await ‘Uncles’ Advice’ Over PM Vote
Fairly sure Prayut and Prawit are not waiting for advice from Thaksin. I think you have missed the drift of my post.

Most Senators Await ‘Uncles’ Advice’ Over PM Vote
Maybe the uncles are waiting for advice.

Latest date for ex-PM Thaksin’s return is August 22
It will be before that. By election in Rayong. I'm betting PT votes will dissapear. Edit: I take that back. PT are not fielding a candidate.

Latest date for ex-PM Thaksin’s return is August 22
You can say what you like but it doesn't change the fact that PT sold out their support base and jumped into bed with the enemy.

Latest date for ex-PM Thaksin’s return is August 22
You are a traitor to all the people who love you. Your party has sold out to those who opposed you and now your party is in bed with them. You obviously were never for the people which is now evident. You and your party are finished. Such treachery will not be forgiven or forgotten.

Dengue Fever Cases Climb To 5,000-6,000 A Week
This is not good but it happens every year. So many breeding areas because Thailand on the whole is filthy. Thais don't clean up breeding areas for such danger and yet are still wearing masks for something that (thankfully) doesn't even make the daily news cycle anymore.

Lengthy parliamentary debate expected during PM selection on August 22nd
I truly hope MFP are not there to participate in any debate or vote . PT is now in bed with the military/elites. Let them have their own debates. I vote for 151 MFP empty seats to demonstrate disdain for this entire electoral fraud and the traitorous PT by not turning up. This whole election, if you can actually call it that, is a sham of the highest level manufactured by a military junta to maintain power.

Pheu Thai-Led Coalition Govt Now Has 314 MPs
PT will pay very heavily for this. When (or if) Thaksin returns will he be greeted with cheers or jeers? PT are now in bed with the very people that led two coups against them. They are sleeping with the eneny. The enemy they said they would never deal with. They have gone against their entire voter base and will for ever be seen as traitors.

Voting for next PM to go ahead with growing turmoil likely to end with General Prawit as PM
Sorry I have to disagree. The start of their demise has already occured when they withdrew from the MFP coalition. Further to this they went from that to BJT. Now they are in bed with the military. Their demise is well under way. They are traitors to their support base and will be punished.

Voting for next PM to go ahead with growing turmoil likely to end with General Prawit as PM
TIT. The people vote the army out and the army will be back in. Truly insane. There is no possible way the term democracry shoud even be uttered. A true discrace and a total slap in the face for the people of Thailand and a total corruption of an election. This can lead to an interesting scenario though. PT if they have any chance of survival (IMO now very slim) will have to vote as a bloc with the oppostion. The 1st motion of the opposition will have to be a vote of no confidence in the PM. If and I say "if" PT cross the floor an vote with the opposition the motion will be passed and new elections must be called.

I'm pretty sure they're not waiting 'til they're 20 but your statement still holds true.

Family Mart Convenience Stores in Thailand to be Fully Rebranded to Tops Daily
FamilyMart (not market) is iconic in Japan from where it originates. They are everywhere.

Move Forward MPs will not vote for Pheu Thai’s prime ministerial candidate
What hurt them was 250 junta senators, the EC and still to be seen the CC. As for PT they are now going down in history as a party of traitors to their support base.

Move Forward MPs will not vote for Pheu Thai’s prime ministerial candidate
Exactly what I have been saying. Don't even show up and leave 151 empty seats.

Pita Cleared In First Round Of Polling Agency Enquiry Over ITV Shares
Interesting. Cleared by EC yet CC can still disqualify him. What a system. A system put in place by a junta to protect the establishment.

Tax overhaul: Thai excise department plans restructuring to close loopholes
You are dead right. It's not a monopoly it's an oligopoly and it's protected.

House and Senate whips to meet Wednesday to set date for PM selection
Complete rubbish. Their (MFP) vote will mean absolutely nothing. The vote of 250 junta appointed senators is what the future of Thailand is dependant on. We have witnessed this. Where they get their orders from is not an approachable discussion.

Tax overhaul: Thai excise department plans restructuring to close loopholes
Protectionism for the oligarchy. Something Pita wanted to get rid of. Get set for a price rise to increase their profits. "Taking the case of zero-alcohol beers again, they could potentially fall into the alcoholic drinks category but face little to no taxation due to their non-alcoholic nature." This could very well be a definition for completely insane.
