  1. I've said before and I'll say it again. MFP should boycott the vote. Do not turn up. Leave 151 seats empty.
  2. You (PT) have chosen to sleep in the same bed as the enemy. Every Thai is aware of this. Doesn't matter what you say or do you are finished. You have sold out your voter base. Game over.
  3. And they've made it much harder to dodge. Russia needs it's canon fodder.
  4. I have been here for 20 years which obviously includes both the 2006 and 2014 coups and the bent 2019 election and it's aftermath which saw the junta 'legitimise' its power, disolve it's opposition (FFP) and put in place measures to maintain authority to wit we are seeing the consequences. I am well aware of the political landscape here.
  5. The winners lost and the losers once again win.
  6. So you think PT voters are happy that their party is now in league with those they wanted ousted?
  7. The closer they get the more votes they will lose at the next election. They have betrayed their voter base. They are no longer a people's party. They are now in bed with the elitists. Doesn't matter what populists things they come up with this betrayal will not be forgiven.
  8. Complete and utter ......... . Well if you don't want to side with any particular faction why is it that's exactly what you're doing. Let's take the word faction out and call it for what it is. Political party. You were happy to side with MFP in coaltion. You were happy to kick MFP out of the coalition then you ask them to vote for your PM nomination and you are happy to get into bed with parties in the junta coalition which are the sworn enimies of PT. This is an infantile attempt to try and keep the hoardes of their voting base which are currently abandoning them. This whole fiasco is shameful. It's a pity it's not getting international attention because it deserves to.
  9. Not according to everyone I've talked to. "Khun Torayu!" they all say; "Traitor!" 'PT is finished!" Wife says the same. "Everyone very serious about this". This treachery will not go unpunished. For PT to lay in the same bed as the present junta, military, conservative, elitist coalition is discusting and then ask MFP to vote for their PM nomination is beyond the contempt. I've said a few times now MFP should not attend parliament for the vote for a new PM.
  10. It will be short lived. PT will basically not exist after the nxt election.
  11. I still can't believe this guy is being called PM. Do the people (or maybe not people) writing 9or generating) these articles not understand he is a caretaker PM albeit for possibly the longest period following any election in the entire world EVER? After an election there is no government only a caretaker government until the next government is formed following the election results or in Thailand's case the votes of 250 junta elected senators being directed by their masters/master.
  12. Prayut resigns from UTN. UTN joins coalition. PM does not have to be in a political party. Last PM was not in a political party. Last PM was? PT are getting deeper and deeper in with their enemies. Not sure what they are thinking but if they think Thaksin coming back will heal the wound I think they are very much mistaken.
  13. Or of course it could be seen as turning your back on your traitorous 'coalition patner'. A great way to get all those disenfranchised PT voters. PT are not worth the effort for a vote as it stands at the moment. They have jumped into bed with the devil and will pay dearly for it.
  14. As I said in another thread. They shouldn't even turn up for the vote. 151 empty seats. Great optics.
  15. Double double cross. Let Prawit take PM then withdraw from the coalition. This would leave an unworkable minority govt and new elections.
  16. The entire party should boycott the election of PM and not even turn up for the vote. The entire party missing from parliament would be great optics.
  17. Trust in the system has dissapeared. These completely unhinged comments just reinforces that. Lie through your teeth is ok. People must forget the past. This bloke is certifiable.
  18. They should all abstain, or go fishing or go play golf etc.
  19. What about the people who lost their entire incomes/savings/businesses?
  20. Noooooooo. BJT are also the enemy. PT have abandoned their support base. A traitorous act.
  21. This is tongue in cheek. Isn't it? If not exactly what democratic process are you talking about? It certainly can't be the election. Pita's minority party? You mean the party that got the most votes. Strong coalition? 8 parties is pretty strong involving the two parties with the most electoral votes. Of course there would be no impasse if the junta's senate, CC and EC did not exist. Then the democratic process would have been accepted, Thailand would have a new government and Pita would be PM. This is the democratic process people want. No the drivel you have just come out with.
  22. Why attempted? Seems to being going nicely for them. Sentate, CC and EC all put in place to maintain the status quo. The people voted them and the status quo out yet here we are. Seems the status quo will remain. The will of the people has been overthrown and the military will remain in control.
  23. What we are seeing is a soft military coup and the complete and utter dismissal of any resemblance of democracy.
  24. Heavy rain probable Probably the most accurate forecast for a very, very long time.
  25. I knew a family husband in local politics wife running English teaching agency. Their 4 or 5 year old was obese. Lots of KFC and pizza. This was not a concern to the parents as it showed they were wealthy. Quite insane IMO.
